[When the feed begins, it shows Qubine in some...open area. There's nothing visible around him except a huge very dark gray cloud above him, and the rain pouring down from it.]

...So these are the kinds of shenanigans these eggs are causing this year. This one isn't too serious, but it is rather annoying. I'm not too keen on getting my cave wet, so I guess I'll sit here and wait until this passes...

[He glances off to the side for a moment.]

...Or I can take a dive.

[He returns his attention to the screen.]

I hope we don't have any more of those "Pokemon" hatching from these eggs. Not that they were bad to have around, but the overpopulation can be overwhelming...

[Nothing's been said but this teenage boy is staring a little wide-eyed at the screen. He must have accidentally bumped the video button because he didn't mean to be recorded. He had just been looking at the network... and this caught his attention.]

[Qubine notices the human staring at him through the screen and he just...stares back, blinking a few times.]

...Yes?

[He blinks. Whoops. Caught.]

... You can talk.

Yes, I can, obviously. Now the question is, do you have something to say?

I... I'm sorry, but what are you?

[He rolls his eyes and tilts his head. Really?]

I'm a dragon.

[Well, it did look like a talking dragon but that's not normal where he comes from so he had to ask... A few weeks ago this would have seemed even stranger.]

A dragon. Wow, that's... really cool. A real dragon.

[A bit of a hesitant grin appears now.]

[Qubine's expression changes, looking less annoyed and more curious now.]

...I assume you don't have dragons in your world?

No. Not real ones. There are a lot of stories but they're, well, stories.

...Do you think dragons have ever existed in your world? If not, where did the stories come from?

I thought they were just made up. Maybe they were based on big lizards or dinosaurs.

But... well.... I didn't think magic was real either but then I did meet a real wizard. So maybe there really are dragons out there too.

[Here's Aaron, wearing a baseball cap for some reason.]

"Pokemon". Surely it's not too hard to pronounce, is it?

[Since he already got two out of three syllables correct...]

I know how to pronounce it. I just want to know what is this Pokemon thing you're talking about.

Don't tell me they would hatch out from those eggs, do you?

[Now he's panicking on the inside on what they really are.]

Pokemon are a variety of creatures of all shapes and sizes. I don't know too much about them, but from what I've observed, some people keep them as pets, or train them for combat. And yes, they seem to hatch from eggs.

Oh, I see...

[Those last sentences made him change his mind about the eggs as he smiles at that thought.]

Well, is there anyway I can get them other than the eggs?

So this happened before? Like how people changed bodies and racial types around October?

[Trunks has been careful so far with the eggs, but he did touch one and end up with Bunny ears. That was a few hours he spent alone in his office at Capsule Corp in Nova that weren't fun. Productive in ways as he got work done, but not fun.]

We've had eggs appearing out of nowhere in the past, yes. In fact, I think it was about this time last year. Perhaps some sort of tradition...

Huh. Not one I'm familiar with, but that wouldn't surprise me. Even if I'm from Earth, my life was a bit different from even some others from my Earth.

[He tilts his head, somewhat puzzled.]

There are and have been a few people from my 'world' here in Genessia. There's time-travel and alternate dimensions involved however, so even though we're all from Earth, not all of us are from the same dimension or time.

[Trunks is getting better at explaining this. Hopefully.]

Bulla, my sister, is from one Earth and dimension and time--but the one I'm used to, she doesn't exist there for example. So getting to meet her here has been a real pleasure.

It's a mood though.

[It was like those cartoons where people who are upset and the cloud lingers over them. She figured it would happen to her at this point.]

Usually, something like that represents sadness, but you don't look sad.

...I don't have anything particular to be sad about...

[He may not be happy, but he isn't so sad that his whole life has to be a huge rainstorm...]

Then I guess you're just stuck with a gloomy day. Which sucks. Can ruin a lot. Though not sure what it can ruin for a dragon.

When you've been living in harmony with nature as long as I have, you learn to accept the bad weather as well as the good.

You must have done something though for nature to give you that.

I've faced a plague that killed half of my clan and incapacitated the other half.

A plague, hm? Sounds awful. Must have been a hard time.
