[The 15-year-old Chosen of Light appeared on-screen looking mildly concerned. Which was to say, she was incredibly concerned but only letting the faintest glimmer show through a mask of calm. Not wanting anyone else to worry as she did.]

Has anyone seen Abra?

[For those unfamiliar with the pokemon companion, she held up a lovely photograph that had been taken within the past few weeks, judging by the apparent lack of chill in the evening air.]

Normally, I wouldn't be so concerned, except... [She hesitated, pressing her lips together in a telling manner.] ...he was eyeing those strange eggs all morning.

I'm worried...he might have taken off with one of them when I wasn't looking.

Thank you. Any assistance I can get right now would be really appreciated. But...

[She hesitated, not wanting to be rude to someone offering help, but feeling it was important to correct his faulty assumption.]

...Abra isn't a cat. He's a pokemon.

Oh, a pokemon. I've heard of those...

[He pauses, then continues speaking more normally now.]

So where did you last see him? There are different cities here, right?

[He's still pretty new and hasn't looked past Genessia yet.]

[She nodded.]

That's right. But we were in the main city. The park area. Maybe a kilometer from the main entrance due east. I was trying to set up a small shoot with all these eggs that've been appearing recently.

I could fly around the city and see if I spot him.

[For some reason, hearing the thought of somebody flying didn't phase her the way it probably should have.
She simply smiled, nodding her head.]

If it's not too much trouble.

No trouble at all, ma'am.

I can meet you at the park in, say, an hour? After I have a look around, hopefully with your... pokemon.

[A moment of hesitation at the ma'am--even silently echoing it to herself--before the smile reappeared.]

An hour, then.

Should I try to wait by the entrance so you know where to find me?

[He's still testing out names.]

What about Captain Thunder?

[He holds his hands up - the fingers spark with electricity.]

[Oh, wow. Kind of like Tentomon!]

Then...maybe a name that has to do with lightning might be more appropriate?

Thunder goes with lightning.

[But they're still not the same thing. Is what Hikari would have said if she were a more confrontational person. Making a suggestion was one thing, but if he was so determined...]

I suppose you have a point.

If it's a name that makes you happy, then you may as well keep it.

I thought something was off. Now it all makes sense.

[Though his focus had been elsewhere recently, including having to deal with a certain rabbit which had gotten annoying very quickly.]

If he has taken the egg, he should be fine though. But once I am free I can help look. [And by free, guess who is once again stuck because of the rabbit? It wasn't obvious but Takru was currently pulling at his foot. His shoe was stuck.]

[There was some mild concern on her end at his reply. Particularly the part about needing to be 'freed' first.]

Did something happen?

Well, the rabbit that came out of an egg and is not a Pokemon or Digimon is shedding very sticky cotton balls. So I might need to sacrifice my shoe to help you.

[he is unable to move it, but after kneeling down and sorting it out, he at least managed to get his foot free. The shoe, however, is staying there for the time being.]

Okay, now I can help look.

[Still a touch of concern, but she hid it with a weak smile.]

Oh, Takeru-kun...

We'll have to make sure we rescue your shoe later too. Or get you a new one.

Good luck to anyone who tries to take it. I will be proud if anyone does.

[But he was already walking to the apartment since he figured Hikari was there.]

But are you at the apartment right now?

I'm sorry to hear your friend has gone missing. I will make sure to keep an eye out for him where I am though and I am sure he will turn up somewhere.

[She would be sad herself if one of her friends had vanished.]

[She immediately nodded in appreciation for the offer.]

I'm hoping he didn't get too far. Even if he teleported, doing so too many times or over too far a distance can exhaust him.

One has to hope. Usually, the Pokemon friends don't tend to stray too far from whoever they are friends with so I am sure he must be close.

Or at least mone never stray too far.

[A nod in agreement. Hikari had learned of many similarities between Pokemon and Digimon companions since Abra's arrival into her life, and what Rapunzel spoke of was just one of them.]

He's the same way most of the time.

That's why I'm worried. It's so unlike him.

That is a good reason to worry. I said I will keep an eye out but I can also go out and look at the last know area.

See if there is anything that might help figure out where they might have gone. I'll even have my friends help out.
