[Lady does the whole thing with the pod, box, necklace and other stuff with the hologram in the Bay. It's strange to walk around without Kalina Ann close by for the first time in...forever, it feels like, but she's pretty sure that that would be really suspicious. So, she leaves it and her pistols in the pod to retrieve them if it's too dangerous or if she's actually going to settle in before heading out.

She feels like some sort of ungainly tourist as she wanders out of the Bay and into the city proper. It's not at all where she was supposed to be. Light, clean, vermin-free. Definitely all wrong. No way that Trish and Dante would be caught in a place like this.

It feels like a trap. She's known too many demons in her time to not suspect something. And that skepticism has kept her alive, so she holds onto and she takes in the sights.]

Looks a little like Fortuna. Wonder if there's a seedy underbelly here too.

[When the phone's video starts, Lady is obviously in the free lodgings given to new people and she's got her legs crossed as she leans back on the room's bed. Her sunglasses are pulled a little low down her nose, exposing her differently colored eyes and the look of amusement dancing across her entire face.]

So, if this place is for real, I have to say, it's a nice change from where I usually hang out.

[She pauses and dangles the necklace given to newcomers between two fingers before snapping it up and grabbing it out of air with the ease of a practiced movement.]

Know where to get good pizza?

Right? Pizza is such an art. I don't know if I could live anywhere with out a good place to get a slice or pie.

[Walking through Genessia City is this strange figure - a seven foot tall cyborg with the appearance of a metallic alien skeleton. He looks unfriendly - but maybe that's more because his face is a skull-like mask. He strides along, coming closer to her and sounding abrasive, almost confrontational, as he speaks directly at her.]

Are you a new arrival?

[Lady looks up and up again. Differently colored eyes narrow behind her glasses and she makes a move like she's reaching for her weapons.

Only she's not armed.

Fuck.

Fine. Time to play it like Dante would. It's something she's actually learned from him. Cockiness can help. So, she places her empty hand on a hip and looks at him with a playful smile.]

That obvious, huh? Guess it can't be helped.

It is obvious in that I have not seen your face before. I know these streets well and you are unfamiliar.

[Simple as that. He's been here a long time and always keeps an eye out for new arrivals - usually to give them stern warnings pre-emptively.]

I am General Grievous, a deputy Guardian in Nova City. Cause no trouble and you will have no issue here.

[She continues to just look at the robot over the top of her sunglasses, lips twisted into a half-smile.

It's been a while since someone's actually tried to intimidate her.]

Nova City, huh? Well, I think this is Genessia City. You're out of your jurisdiction.

[Lady might feel like an ungainly tourist, but at least she doesn't look like one.

Rosinante is walking nearby, all nine feet seven inches plus of him in pink heart print and black feathers standing out like a massive sore thumb. And aside from being awkward looking, it gets more uncomfortable when he slips and falls over onto his back with a crash so hard that it shakes the ground. His cigarette flies out of his mouth during the fall, lands on the single piece of trash in the area, and manages to catch it on fire. He groans in pain, and turns to pat out the fire, but his coat actually ignites in the process.

[Looking over her shoulder at the massive pile of person on the ground, Lady shakes her head. Tragic.

Also, there's no way in hell this person is human. It's not possible. And here she is, unarmed and in strange territory.

She considers walking away, but there's something a little pathetic about him, non-human or not.]

Take the coat off or you're going to go up in flames as well.

[Rosinante is absolutely human, and hardly the tallest from his world. He does rank amount the clumsiest from his world unfortunately, and his terrible luck has followed him here.

He makes a frustrated sound in response to what Lady says to him, it's not like this is a show for someone's amusement, and it feels like she's judging him from where she stands. And he's really in trouble if he can't get it out soon, it blazes up again just once and he nearly ends up with his hair on fire. So he keeps patting at the feathers, and the smell is atrocious, but he succeeds at actually putting out the flames before they get too intense.

That was close. And he shakes the coat out to get the ash and damaged feathers off of it, and stands to his feet like nothing happened at all.]

[Yeah, no, beings that big are usually demons where she's from. Sorry.

She watches him struggle and doesn't know if there's anything she can do to help him. He's made this mess himself and she's pretty sure that if she gets close enough, he'd drag her into it. And since he appears to be able to put the fire out, she just shrugs.

And continues walking along. Best to put some distance between them since she's unarmed for the moment.]

[ And here just so happens to be one of those demons she knows. Well, knows of, really, for neither of them have exactly spoken much outside of the few encounters they had when he and her father had been conspiring together. Ah, seems like such a long time ago now.

He'd been taking a break from being holed up in Devil May Cry when he came to spot the woman and, after taking a moment to place the familiarity of her, he makes his way over to her, though of course with coming up from behind. ]

Does Dante know you're here?

[ No introduction given, no hello, it's been awhile, do you remember me? Just straight to the point, as Vergil always does. ]

Of course not. So not him.

[At the sound of the deep voice, Lady stops mid-stride. It's not one she's intimately familiar with, but she does recognize it. Somehow.

She turns and looks him up and down for a long time. Imagines him with his hair hanging in his face and a cocky grin on his lips. Vergil Sparda... Dante's older twin.

Talk about ancient history. She was a different person then, just a girl really. And he'd been working with her father. Until he hadn't.]

No, but I didn't know he was here either. Are you going to tell on me, Vergil?

[ Older is right as time has certainly passed since the last time they saw each other; as it stands, he's even literally older than Dante and not by a mere few minutes anymore. But while his appearance has changed some, his demeanor and presence have not and it shows in the way he stands there staring to her at the question he assumes is meant to be a sort of joke. ]

Do I strike you as the type?

[ Even as he asks, he comes to step around the woman, giving nothing more than a fleeting glance to her. ]

[While he might be an old half-demon now, the resemblance to both Sparda and Dante is still very much there. As much as Vergil might want to avoid the issue, they're brothers. Not that it matters, since the attitude is pretty much the same as the hazy memories of their brief encounter.]

The type to run to his little brother to tell him that a friend is here? Hardly.

[Even as he steps away, she falls into step with him. If he's here and Dante's here, he might even lead her to their mutual...friend?]

I'm surprised to see you here though.

[Most of Aizawa's jobs are consist of training and cases, which is why he's still wearing his attire. This time it was just training. He happens to over hear Lady talking to herself. The way she's talking to herself.. hn.]

Mostly eastern holiday events that enjoys screwing us over.
