So. I've come to the conclusion that a good barbecue makes everything seem better.

[Considering Li was currently sitting in a restaurant with a plate of messy pulled pork sitting in front of her and stabbing it with a fork? As far as she was concerned, her observation was right.]

Also, I fucking hate this time of year.

[She viciously stabs the meat in front of her before popping a chunk in her mouth and chewing.The usually angry kelpie seems to be a little more vicious than usual just by going off how she's treating her meal. After several moments of repeating this vicious attack on her food, she glances to her device and contemplates something...]

There's still a lot of questions I need to answer but, fucking hell urges are strong. So, I'd suggest any male wandering into the forests in Fayren to be careful. Either, I might accidentally kill you or well...

[She ducks her head and mutters under her breath in Gaelic for a few moments before stabbing her food violently.]

You know what, just forget I said anything. I'm just gonna enjoy my meal and then hole myself up in my cave and tell the world to fuck off.

[He must be bored from where he declines on his tree limb, to be flipping through the network as he is. When he stumbles across a familiar female, he pauses to listen in, then quirks an eyebrow in response.]

[She glances over to him as she takes another bite of her food and waits to swallow before answering again.]

It just depends on how you define a 'bad day'.

[He bites into the apple in his other hand, amuse by her temper. Then again, he's safely not in the same vicinity as the irritated kelpie, so he might be taking a few extra allowances just for the fun of it.]

Anything I could help you with? Who do I need to beat up for you?

[It's become one of his favorite teases, especially since she's the very last thing from 'damsel in distress'. He definitely wouldn't put it past her to come through on her threat to any poor man who happened to cross her path.]

[She pauses as she stabs another piece of sauce covered meat and regards him slightly. Yeah, she recognizes that as a tease and normally it amused her considering she took care of her own problems.

Most of the time. This particular problem she was going to need help with.]

Actually, you might be able to.

[Now she's playing with her food, studying him for a moment.]

Run with me.

[He studies her a moment, or rather the way she didn't actually retort, then tips his head, considering it.]

I do need to hunt this afternoon...when and where?

[A sly grin.] And what?

[She tilts her head and there might be something other than hunger in her gaze as she considers how to answer.]

Meet me at the edge of the forest.

[She might already be finishing off her food to head out.]

Stallion. I need a stallion to run with.

[The moment he saw her and caught her scent, he'd realize why. Li was in heat and it was taking all her control not to raise her tail for every male she encountered.]

[Poor oblivious shifter.]

I'll see you in ten, [he promises, nodded and sliding from the branch. He lands gracefully as a cat, then slips the device into his pocket, and is pure blooded and proud stallion within seconds.

It takes him less than ten minutes to make it to their meeting place in this form, the second her scent hits him, he stills. Shit... It's like running headfirst into a brick wall, the way it slams through him, and he might be approaching much more cautiously than usual...

Females are stressful on a good day, but an unmated one...]

[An unmated Kelpie is particularly dangerous. She's standing in the clearing as her usual black mare self, pawing at the ground and tossing her head slightly as he approaches.

Again.. all of her will power to just act 'normal' as she eyes him silently before flicking her tail at him and turning to take off running. She's really hoping a long run with someone might work out some of the urges she's having because doing it by herself wasn't working.]

[Shit... he can only stare at her for a few moments, even after she's sprinted off, doing his best to wade through his now-muddled head. He could pursue her, as promised... but... would it lead to...

His heart hammered in his mighty chest as he steals after her, darkness about his hooves to train his speed, even if he does give her the lead for a long while.]

[For a few moments Li didn't think he would follow her which only served to anger her more until she heard the familiar pound of hooves behind her. Li sped up, weaving through the forest with him at her hooves.

Longer he kept up with her, the more her instincts started to kick in. There was a worthy stallion right there. She just needed to stop running and let him catch her.. She huffed, shaking the thoughts from her head as her tail whipped around her backside, lifting to show off without her realizing it as she burst into another clearing and right into the moonlight.

The silvery light reflected off her black coat, highlighting all her features as she twisted to finally come to a stop, breathing hard and turning to stare at him while her tail lashed and lifted behind her. Hooves pawed the ground as her nostrils flared, taking in his scent with a soft whinny.

If he was willing...

She shook her head again, snorting to try and shake herself out of what her hormones were telling her. Was it working? Well, she wasn't presenting her ass to him yet so, she's still fighting it...]

[He skidded to a stop, hooves heavy as they pawed the ground where he paced along the treeline, his own head shaking as he tried to clear his own mind. Though he wasn't truly a stallion, or even fully one thing, the sight of the kelpie in the moonlight was... enchanting, to say the very least. Even as his breathing calmed, his heart continued to race and with a heavy huff, he tossed his head again, then shifted, silver eyes swirling as he took on his human form once more.]

Li...

[Is his voice a little rougher than usual, despite the gentle warning tone? ....maybe.]

[Li tenses as he shifts back to human and reluctantly shifts herself, leaving her nude in the moonlight and just as alluring as the dark mare that had been standing there moments before.

She was watching him, tense and eager as the rough sound of his voice excited her. Was there a warning? If so, she was ignoring it by moving closer to him.]

Be my stallion for the night.

[...He literally smacked a palm to his eyes, running the hand down over his face as she approached. Right...because somehow shifting back to his most comfortable form had been the best idea he could have come up with in the moment, all at once forgetting her own human form was...

Well. Suddenly very hard to look away from.

He studied her as she drew nearer, staring down at her once she was close enough.]

...are you sure? [Dark... his voice was almost dark with that heavy desire now coursing through him. Until he received a direct and unwavering answer from her... he'd keep his hands off her.]

[The dark tinge to his voice sent a shudder down her spine as she nodded, not daring to look away from him. Her own eyes were laced with daring and lust as she stopped mere inches from him.]

Very sure. I won't ask again Kier. Are you stallion enough to satisfy me or should I be looking for another.

[....he snapped.

Faster than lightning with the darkness at his heels, he spun her, pinning her against the closest tree, body pressed fully along her own as he purred down at her.]

Not sure what your expectations of a stallion might be, but I know a thing or two about satisfaction, [he growled, studying her face.

...she might have found herself trapped by a wildcat, but the intention was the same. His head angled sharply down at her, he waited, silver eyes swirling. Caution be damned; one more step from her might be all he could take.]

[His little display of strength excited her as she felt his body pressed fully against her toned, lithe form. Even the sound of his purr sent a chill down her spine, leaving her filled with tense anticipation.]

[With his body pressed against hers, every shifting motion she made had her body caressing his. It definitely didn't bother her that she might be pinned by a wildcat. Better another predator she trusts than anyone else.]

That's one hell of a booty call.

[He's trying really hard not to laugh.]

[She just glares at him.]
