action;
( Lioriley just barely catches her bearings upon arrival, meandering aimlessly into the city with no real destination. A vague recollection of the strange metal buildings around her sparks somewhere in the back of her mind, but vanishes just as quickly. She feels as if she might have been here before, but there is no possible way she could have.
She would linger on that thought longer, were it not for a sudden yelp (or shriek, or thump, or whatever) of pain coming from nearby. Someone, somehow, has hurt themselves - either by accident, or through some violent act of another - and Lioriley quickly jumps into action. )
Are you alright? What happened? ( Slender fingers, dark with twisting bright blue lines reach out instinctively toward wherever their injury may be, wisps of color dancing off the tips as surges of healing energy suddenly pulse into them. )

OH, WELL, YOU SEE, I ASKED A LADY IF I COULD KISS HER BABY. OR AT LEAST GIVE IT A PAT ON THE HEAD. THEN SHE SHRIEKED AND DECKED ME WITH HER PURSE!! WHO KNEW THEY COULD BE SO DEADLY???
[Maybe skeletons were an unnerving site in Gen. City. Maybe he was too forward. Maybe she has an unyielding hatred for politicians. Whatever the case, his kind of monster can be fragile if he didn't mean to fight, and fighting was far from his balmy brain now.]
YET, MYSTERIOUSLY I SEEM TO BE FEELING MUCH BETTER!! IS THAT...GASP...MAGIC!? ARE YOU A MONSTER TOO??
no subject
Ah, no. Not a monster. A Lunari. ( A monster, perhaps, to some, but not something she would proudly identify as. ) Though it was magic. Can you stand?
no subject
WHAT'S THAT?
[Of the two races he was familiar with, that's neither. He springs up with a "hup"]
HUP! YUP, I'M FEELING AS GOOD AS I LOOK!! ARE YOU NEW HERE?
no subject
( She hopes that will suffice for an answer. His next question is simply given a nod. Yes, she is new here. )
no subject
[He must get to the bottom of this intriguing blue person, who knows magic despite not being a monster. Wonders never cease.]
WELL MAGICAL ELF, AS A GREAT MAGICIAN MYSELF, I'M IMPRESSED!! NOT TOO MANY CAN DO HEALING MAGIC. MY MAGIC'S PRETTY BONY. WANT TO SEE??
no subject
Bony? ( She's only mildly hesitant. He is a skeleton after all, so it stands to reason that his magic would be... bony? Right? ) Certainly, if you are willing to share, I suppose.
no subject
[There it is, the other race he's so interested in. If only he wasn't woefully ignorant as to what they look like. Aesthetics escape him.]
VERY WELL, LUNARI! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, SHALL DAZZLE YOU WITH MY TECHNIQUE! BEHOLD!
[With nary a sound nor a movement, a queue of bones lazily scrolls between the two of them, rising but a foot off the ground.]
HMM, IT SEEMS MY MAGIC HAS A LOT TO SAY!
[Letters being to form from the pile.]
[Papyrus smiles expectantly]

But there's also a small little clump of furry something or others on the other side of the fence. He might have been trying to help them out, or something.]
Hahaha, heeeey woah. Uh, it's not really as bad as it looks, I don't think. [He does, however, watch the color swirl about her fingers though.]
no subject
Forgive me for being so forward. It looked rather painful from what I saw.
no subject
... Heeey, it's no problem! [He may be curious about what he's just experienced, but it's no sense in making her uncomfortable.] If our positions were reversed I'm sure I would've done the same!!
[he's peeling the bandages off now, brows rising when the wound is basically gone.] Sooooo.... is that some kinda special ability or magic or something?
no subject
A nod follows as she pulls her hand back, hands resting on her thighs. )
Magic. ( Simple enough, right? ) Your wound should be gone entirely soon.
( A pause, her head tilts to the side and she looks toward the fence. ) Were you trying to get to the other side?
no subject
It takes a lot to get him to actually cry out in pain, but this qualifies for it.] I'm-[What is she doing? He's actually stunned into silence, unable to properly process her question. And then he gets to be amazed.]

The burn that peeks through her fingers starts to fade, and after Lioriley is certain her magic is doing its job; she looks up at him and smiles faintly. ) I apologize if I startled you.
no subject
It really is healing.] No, I'm fine. Thank you... [He stares at the wound, and back towards Lioriley.] You're amazing! I thought I was in trouble this time.
no subject
I am glad I arrived in time, then. However did you end up in such a situation?
no subject
My shirt caught fire. [Like that explains everything.
The coat that he's holding is well worn and covered with burn marks and smells of smoke. That might give a hint as to how often it happens.]
no subject
Either way, he seems well enough now, and for that she offers another smile. )
Well, I should hope such a thing does not happen again. Such burns can be quite unpleasant. ( More than unpleasant, but whatever. ) Let us be more careful, hm? Where were you headed, anyway?

I would offer to assist, but I fear I only just arrived and do not know my way around just yet. I can, however, accompany you if you like?
no subject
Rosinante is so wary. So worried about letting anyone close to him at all. But she's already done him a great favor without asking for a thing in return. So he nods.] I'd like that. And if you want, I can show you around as thanks for helping me. That wasn't going to heal nicely.
