[Belle was currently sitting on the bed in the Genessia commonplace, playing with the device in hand. She had been adapting to the changes that have occurred since she seemed to have left this place and there was just a lot that had happened.

And even though she still had a lot to learn she knew that she needed to get a job and a place to live. But Belle just wasn't sure if she should try something else than what she was used to or just go to the library, a place that she liked.

So she figured the next best thing was to introduce herself to others on the network and hope they could help. So after a brief adjustment of her hair, she switched the device on and smiles.]

I figured I should say hello. My name is Belle and I am someone who was here for a time a few years ago, close to three actually so I don't think anyone here would know who I am. [She paused for a moment.]

But that isn't why I am speaking. I've been wondering about what kind of work I should try this time. I have experience in working in a library and pawn shop. I enjoy books and before I left here the last time I was one to do bounties from time to time. But I am currently wondering if perhaps I should try something new. So I guess I'm just hoping for suggestions.

[She knew that she had one other thing she wanted to ask.]

I also am wondering if there are placs where one can train and... [She gives a small sigh.] I guess a place where I can talk about certain things.

[She had to admit, a skeleton was not something she was expecting t see. But at the same time, she couldn't honestly admit she was awfully surprised either.

But after a moment she was going to speak.]

They always say knowledge is power and sometimes you can be helpful just by finding a solution within the pages of a book rather than just using violence. [She did want to work in the library again, but she felt like she wanted to do other things. Maybe leading to open a bookstore or something.]

[Gansey's still trying to absorb everything that's happened to him, finding himself in a place that he doesn't recognize and having to abruptly start a new life. But he's too social not to answer a video of someone reaching out with questions similar to the ones that he's been entertaining.]

Hello, Belle. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Gansey. I just arrived here for the first time.

I've been thinking about jobs too, but haven't been able to decide on anything yet. What did you do here before, when you weren't doing bounties?

Nice to meet you. This is technically my second time, but it seems we still ask the same questions.

[She paused for a moment, she knew what she had done.]

I helped out in the library and when I opened a subarchway I worked in the pawn shop and library that was there too. Though the latter never really brings in any money beyond the people in the subarchway.

You can go home and come back?

[That isn't something that he'd thought possible. Everyone he'd spoken to had acted as if being brought to this place was permanent.]

I've been thinking about working at the library, but another position attracted my interest as well. [He'd been debating indulging his more scholarly tendencies or trying to burn off the excessive energy that helped fuel his insomnia.] What is a subarchway? I've heard of them but no one really explained the concept to me. I asume that they're more than just an architectural detail.

Not by choice. You never really expect it and you don't really recall ever leaving until you wake up again. But it happened to me with a rather big gap between when I was last here and now. yet back at home no time changed.

Another position? What one would that be? [She paused, trying to think about the best way to answer the question.] Well for one in order to even open one, one has to pay a price. I cannot remember what the price was exactly... But I think you aren't meant to remember if it's a memory or something. But what is opened is whatever place you want, though I guess differences being that it's not the real place in a way. It's... kind of hard to explain.

We return to the same moment we were taken from?

[If that's true, then the quest is only paused, not an impossibility. If he is returned to Henrietta.]

I was thinking of becoming a rock climbing instructor. I'm more comfortable in academic settings, but they don't seem to have many people who can tech that particular skill. [And he'd be able to afford to move out and find a place that didn't seem so restrictive.

As Belle describes the subarch, Gansey's thumb moves to his lip in a thoughtful, unconscious gesture as he tries to connect the details that she's given him.]

Is it an illusion or simulation of the place?

I guess so. As o wok what skill is it that you are one about?

[She paused as she thought about it.]

If I had to guess I think it would be more of the latter. But I honestly don't know the answer.

[Please don't mind the blinking and staring for a moment, then a tiny headshake. Followed by a smile.]

It's nice to meet you Belle, although I may've known a different version of you--if that makes any sense. Not that I knew much, other than your name and that you enjoyed the Library. So, I'll consider this a new introduction.

My name's Trunks. What kind of job are you looking for, and what kind of training? There are a few gyms, and several different people here who fight and-or train for a living and wouldn't mind helping teach you. Myself included. What did you enjoy about the Library and Pawn Shop? What about what drew you to doing bounties?

A different version?

[So thee had been someone with the name and the love of books since she was gone. That was honestly a strange thing to think about. But she wondered if she looked the same o if it ally was a case of another person with the exact name. It was a moment of two before she shook the head.]

When I was last here I mostly did sword training, mostly as a way to defend myself. So I am looking to do more of that. Improve. [She thought about it some more.]

What I enjoyed. Well, the first one is rather obvious I guess. The Pawn Shop is mostly because it was my husband's store. [And with what she last remember she found herself pausing for a moment.]

I know it sounds strange, about different versions and stuff. I'm kind of used to it myself, but my life is a quite a bit strange.

[With an understanding smile, as he knows it's complicated.]

Well, if you're interested I can help with sword-training. See what else might come up? You don't necessarily have to have a job right away. Or you could try a lot of different things.

Sounds strange, but in this world, there are a lot others would consider as strange.

[She nodded slightly. She knew she could wait, but she knew really that she would most likely just end up working at the library and figuring out other things after.]

I would appreciate it. I feel like I need a refresher.

That's a good way to look at it really. Like I said, I'm also used to dealing with multiple and different versions of people. As for sword-practice, do you have weapon of your own, and a place to practice, or should I try and supply those?

I think I lost my sword when I first left, so I have neither of those anymore.

I can always use what money I have to buy another easily enough, though.

Do you have a preference for type of sword? As for practice, there are gyms--although I'm used to being outdoors in various areas, or in a holodeck.

I use what is effectively closest to a broad or bastard-type sword. Wide-flat blade, with cross-hilt and handle. Mostly it's designed to be used by two hands, but can be used with 1 hand at times.

Hmmm. I guess I should really remember what kind of sword I had.

[She already knew that wasn't the type because she used one hand when handling it.]

I remember... It was more skinny, light and could be held in one hand.

Sounds like a rapier, if I'm remembering the right term. Your best bet is likely to head to Fayren though, as I know there's a dedicated forge there. Since it's the lowest tech-level of the cities I've seen so far, they deal more with classic arms and armor than firearms or more modern stuff.

I can go with you, if you want.

I should be fine going myself. Fayren is probably the closet place to where I was from at one time. So I don't feel uncomfortable going there or scared.

Besides. There are probably much scarier things that what the city might have.

Suggested it mostly as a way to say hi and get to know you before sparring or training you.

[Still with an easy smile. Trunks learned long ago to not trust appearances on how 'dangerous' someone is or not. It got beaten into him the hardest way.]

Each city has its dangers. I learned long ago not to trust appearances either on whether someone is capable and-or dangerous.

AH, I should have guessed really. My apologies.

[She nodded sightly. She knew what dangers there had been so she didn't know 100% if it was the same or not.]

I learned that myself. The nicest looking people could be the cruelest, but the ones people would consider monsters might not be at all.

[There's a headshake and easy smile.]

No apology needed. Lemme guess, others have assumed you can't take care of yourself before huh?

[She shook her head slightly.]

It wasn't that. [She did have a time she was off of a cart after she 'gave' information on where a creature could be. But she also knew they probably never wanted a woman there in the first place.]

But the things I've done in my life made going on adventures or stuff like this not be a common occurrence.
