Say you finally admitted how you feel to someone and say we are now together and a major question pops up. What does one do for an actual first date?
Makes me sound stupid, but I haven't ever really had to think of this type of thing before.
[Once she was done with that she made sure to do a private text.]

Hey. I have managed to take some off on the 9th if you want to go out on a date that isn't one person coming to the others work place.

Not stupid at all. I actually had no clue either what to do for a first date. I mean, aside from what 'pop culture' like magazines or stories say it is.
Or sisters.[He kids only a bit. Bulla had actually been a good help overall. And surprisingly less pushy than their mother could be, thankfully.]
But seriously--from what I can tell the 'usual' first date is an outing of some kind, like going to the movies, with dinner either before or after that. With Mai, I tried something a little different and it seemed to go well. We hit the shooting range in Genessia, dinner in Attleton at one of the smaller restaurants, and then went for a walk in the Sky Gardens in Nova City.

But I can try and think of an outing. Minus the whole eating thing afterward as that would be a lot harder. Though I know he likes learning and working, so I can maybe take them to a museum or something.
Re: [Private locking] Text
She's an amazing shot, handguns or a rifle. I'm not sure I've seen anyone better, and she's saved my life and so many others! I think 'expert' would be inaccurate because she's so much better than just an expert!
[This is close to gushing as he can get in text. He'd be doing that in person too, as watching her shoot without their lives being in danger had been amazing and a pleasure. Honestly her skill and expertise as a marksman wasn't even the most amazing thing about her, in Trunks's mind and heart. He's got it pretty bad...]
So maybe eat before hand? Is price an issue, or dietary restrictions? There are a few museums here in the cities, and then maybe check a sub-archway or two? Carefully, because we don't know much about some of them...

[It took her a while to actually send the next reply. She wasn't sure if Eliot was open about the vampire thing or not.]
I will say the latter. We like different styles of food. But I will look at subarchways.
Re: [Private locking] Text
I won't say I'm not slightly biased, but I would and do trust her at my back and by my side more than anyone else. She's saved my life, and so many more.
Honestly, going for food is probably not necessary either for a first date. It's a common one, from what I can tell, but I've yet to find a script or anything. Really, I think just spending dedicated time, doing something you both would enjoy, would be enough.
I also don't know just how much variety there is for food in these cities, but I used to part time at Torchwood 2.0 and I think Rose had done a lot of research into various alternate diets and dietary needs. Presumably she's looked into different styles too.

I still think he would enjoy things like museums or places where you can learn something new, which I wouldn't mind I don't think.
Thanks for the help, it's actually been pretty useful.
Re: [Private locking] Text
Some of the museums here are pretty neat. The library is also *amazing*. Glad to help though, and have fun!

Do you have anything in mind, or would you be open to a surprise?

I was thinking of maybe a museum.

[If she could see his face, she'd see that he was genuinely taken aback. That was really thoughtful... It hadn't crossed his mind recently, but Eliot rarely took the time for fun things like museum trips. He was so caught up in his business.]
I would love that, if you're sure.
I wonder if we can find a museum in Nova?

[Plus she was sure they would find a way to make it fun either way.]
I am sure all of the cities have at least one. So most likely Nova City has one.

Any museum you want. I'll be happy so long as we're learning together~.

How sweet, though. I have some idea of which one, so we just need to say where to meet up on the 9th.
