Maps, brochures, and coupons are here," the hologram gestures to the shelves below it where the mentioned items are located, "and don't forget the money provided for you upon arrival to help you during your initial days. For any further questions, please ask the CPU for Schnee Company's website on your device or visit us in person. Good luck."
If Ronan wasn't holding Chainsaw so protectively against his chest he would punch the high tech looking stand as hard as he could. His mind was racing with the panic he was carefully keeping locked up inside. Chainsaw reacted to him and he couldn't react if he wanted to keep her safe and calm. The items he'd found int he box were tucked away in pockets, the only one he was holding was the brochure, emptied of the so called cash. The he'd stuffed into his boot.
Very carefully, his hand shaking slightly, he picked a map out of the brochure stand and flipped it open. He had no idea what the fuck was going on or why or how. This wasn't Cabeswater or Henrietta. Gansey-Gansey was gone. Adam. Gone. Even Blue. Somehow he still had Chainsaw, a blessing if he believed in blessings.
He suddenly remembered the phone and traded the brochure and map for it from his back pocket. There was nothing familiar about what he found on it and he was tempted to drop it in the nearest trashcan, but he was also unreasonably desperate.
"Perditus sum. Gansey? Adam?"
Ronan closed his eyes. "Please Cabeswater. If you can hear me. Adiuva."

The energy and the fact that he was decent enough with directions are what lead him here. Noah felt the desperation not only from Ronan but from Chainsaw (he was even glad to see her, oddly enough).
Without wasting any time he ran the rest of the way and yelled ‘BOO’ before full on—no, he stopped before he could actually tackle him. Noah didn’t want to hurt Chainsaw.
no subject
But he was in an unfamiliar place and he had Chainsaw to protect. Punching a stranger was at the very bottom of his give a fuck list. Until that person was not a stranger. He knew it was Noah. They'd spent enough time together causing mischief Ronan knew between the moment his heart jolted, adrenaline rushed, his hand balled into a fist, and his brain registering Noah's voice, his essence.
And then his body.
Chainsaw struggled a bit against Ronan before managing to cautiously take a look herself. They both tilted their head a bit before Ronan punched Noah in the shoulder.
"Fuck." There wasn't much that could shock Ronan.
no subject
“I would have tackled you but I didn’t want to die again or hurt Chainsaw.” He said with a little half shrug. “Are you okay? Dude...I don’t know where we are or how we got here but I’m alive and it’s the trippiest thing ever. Feel.” Noah held his hand out and waited.
no subject
The hug lingered and then broke away with Ronan looking around. He still had a grip on Noah's arm, "Did you read the brochure? Or listen to that ugly hologram? This isn't like Cabeswater and it's not a dream." Although thinking back to the pod he couldn't remember dreaming or sleeping, but he'd felt as if he had slept for too long. And then he looked at Noah again. "Where's Matthew? I left you with Matthew."
no subject
But it was short lived and despite Ronan still holding his arm, he missed the contact. Being dead to Noah was like being stuck out in the desert with no water, but in his case his water was affection. He needed it and didn’t have it so now he was almost ravenous to get more of it.
Matthew...
Noah looked confused, glanced at Chainsaw, and then away, thinking. Was he with Matthew? No. “No...I was...I was leaving. I wasn’t with Matthew. I was crossing over—I think our timelines are messed up? I don’t know...I don’t know...”
no subject
"Noah. It's okay. We'll figure it out." He made a face. "I fucking sound like Gansey. Fuck. FUCK!" Deep breaths. All he could remember before waking up in the pod was Gansey disappearing into a hole, dragging Adam down, and nearly pulling Blue off her feet. "If you're here and I'm here there is a chance Adam or Gansey might be here too. Maybe even Matthew."
He isn't ignoring the fact that Noah said he had been crossing over he just can't deal with the idea that Noah was had been leaving them. Not right now.
no subject
Noah waited until he was done before reaching up and gently encircling each of Ronans wrists in his hands so he could carefully pull them away from his face. He couldn’t get into his head anymore but he could tell he was spiraling in his head. Stepping in again he slid into another hug and lightly pat his back with both hands, “We’ll find them. Okay? Breathe or Chainsaw is going to start freaking out and eat someone. Gansey will be looking for us, too, if he’s here.”
He paused and slowly slid away again, “Or—really, he’d be looking for you. There would be no reason to look for me.”
no subject
When Noah pulled away he could only stare at him, calmer than he'd been. How did he do that?
"Gansey would search for you if you disappeared. He wouldn't forget you."
no subject
But what Ronan said sent Noah on an inward spiral of panic because that’s exactly what happened. He disappeared and if things had followed that path, they would forget him. All of them would. It was just a time glitch. Something that was always meant to happen in order to keep Gansey with them.
Fingers curled again and he glanced away, “I just meant....if he had been with you when you disappeared, he would be looking for you. Not me.” He took a deep breath and tipped his face up to look at the sky, “But he’ll find us. Thats his job. He finds things that are important to him.”
no subject
Noah had been crossing over. Disappearing. It was as if he were watching Gansey disappear in that cave. He grabbed Noah's hand, pried his fingers loose and slid his own between them.
"We're not waiting for Gansey to find us this time. We're going to find him. So he knows he's important to us." He was already moving, walking through the crowds of people, before suddenly realizing he had no idea where to start. "If you were a Gansey where would you be?"
no subject
It was almost like a gift, and one he refused to not acknowledge. Noah curled his fingers again and held on, even as Ronan took off in a random direction. He started to question where he had in mind when he posed a question that actually made him laugh.
“Depends on the Gansey,” he replied honestly, then glanced around, “Where would you go immediately go? Because thats where he would go to look for you.”
no subject
Maybe he was what they called him. A snake. A thing. A monster with no soul left to be seen even by psychics who could supposedly see everything. Ronan's fingers tightened around Noah's.
He looked back towards the place he'd woken up. "Did you wake up in a cave coffin surrounded by water?"
no subject
Ronan was not a snake. He was not a monster or a thing, and his soul was beautiful. The psychics were out of their mind if they saw otherwise. Blue included.
At the squeeze, Noah moved closer to half hug Ronans arm, his free hand moving to warmly cover the top of Ronans hand. He wasn’t going anywhere. He would never leave him, or Gansey if he could help it.
“I did.” He shuddered, “It was weird. And then there was all this stuff...did you check the phone to see if Ganseys name was listed? I saw you before I had the chance to look.”
no subject
"You look." He didn't want to see it for himself if Gansey wasn't anywhere to be found. But he repeated the words in his head.
Please Cabeswater. If you can hear me. Adiuva.
With or without Gansey they couldn't stay where they were. He pulled out the key he'd found and turned it over in his free hand.
no subject
The noise he made when he saw the name, was not something he ever thought he would be able to make. A weird squeak of excitement before he held the phone up, then looked at it again to be sure, then held it up to Ronan once more, “Call him! Or...however you use this thing.”
Video
He'd found himself somewhere he didn't recognize. Information was shoved at him at a rate that gave him no time to process what had happened other than they were gone. He was gone. Ronan, Adam, Blue... Gone. He was trapped and he had no idea where his friends might be. He'd tried being social, but afterward he retreated into his thoughts, unable to stop worrying over his friends.
He keeps the phone nearby, turned on despite not wanting to talk to anyone who isn't from Henrietta when he hears Latin over the device and his heart leaps. Scrambling for the phone, he barely manages to keep his voice calm when he speaks.]
You know that my Latin is garbage, Lynch. Switch to English or French if you want me to answer.
Re: Video
Where the fuck are you? Are you okay? You fell into a fucking pit!
[ Chainsaw's head pops up into the corner of the image. Kerah! ]
Video
I'm okay. You and Adam stopped Cabeswater from harming me. If it weren't for the two of you...
[The rest of the sentence is cut off by a familiar Kerah! Letting out a sigh of relief when he sees Chainsaw, everything in his head and heart settle into normalcy. If Ronan's here with Chainsaw, then the situation can't be too dire.]
Hello, Chainsaw. Are you keeping him out of trouble?
Re: Video
That doesn't make any fucking- [ It's an incredible effort he makes to stop there, tense and so fucking confused. But his expressions softens after a moment of biting his tongue. ]
Where are you?
[ The question is almost pleading. ]
Video
None of this makes any sense.
[Despite the smile, there's a hint of the worry in his hazel eyes.]
I don't think Adam or Blue are here, but they were safe. We all were right before I disappeared.
I'm in my room. They have common housing for everyone they've kidnapped. Like the dorms at Aglionby, but without the reminders that we should be virtuous.
Re: Video
He pulls the key out of his pocket and examines it. ]
Genessia Commonspace? How long have you been here?
[ Kidnapped. The word makes his stomach clench and the only thing he can focus on his Gansey's voice and Chainsaw safe in his hand. Blue and Adam are safe. Gansey is safe. He's not dead. He's not in a hole. ]
Video
[Ganesy's voice is calm, the soothing tone that he uses when he senses that Ronan is being pushed to the limit and an explosion is imminent. If that happens, who knows what will be the result will be? Gansey knows how to deal with the Aglionby administration and the Henrietta police, but he has no idea what methods of persuasion would work in this place.]
I've been here a few days. Where are you? I can meet you and show you the way to the Commonspace.
Re: Video
I'm still near the ugly hologram and brochure stand.
[ Monmouth is gone. The Pig. His fathers car. Adam. Blue. Noah.
Cabeswater. Henrietta.
The Barns.
Matthew.
Declan.
Their mother.
It's all fucking gone. ]
Video
[His voice is still calm as he hopes that his expression and the reassurance that he's trying to project will keep Ronan from freaking out. He leaves his quarters, not putting the phone down even as he locks the door behind him. Trying to keep the video steady and aimed toward his face, Gansey starts talking about mundane things. The room he'd just exited, the cafe where he'd bought an iced coffee and a muffin for breakfast. Boring, normal things that he hoped Ronan could focus on until he could see Gansey and realize that he isn't dreaming and they really are stuck here together.]
