The First Wish [Action, Backdated to June 8th]

[After taking some time to get used to the place, Yuelia was taking a moment to enjoy a lake that she had found just yesterday. Her eyes furrowed a bit as she saw some ducks passed by before quickly turning to the machine in her hand.]

So... how do you work...

[She had heard of technology like this before, but this was a different level. There were so many voices on it, but she could never seem to get hers to go onto the thing. Did she have to push it in the right way? Sing to it? Bring it to the sun? Raise it to a higher elevation? She tried all of those things and none of them seemed to work.]

What would Noelia think to see me now? Besides laugh at me, of course.

The worst part is there's so many people that I could talk to if only I knew how.

[As she sees the family of ducks enter the water she has an idea.] What if... you get more of them closer together? Yes! That could work!!!

Are you okay?

[Rapunzel wasn't 100% sure, but she just noticed they were by themselves and figured she might as well see if the other needed help with something. But soon she spotted the ducks.]

Oh! Ducks. Aren't they cute?

Sure, if they're not chasing you with their wicked beady eyes... [She muttered, looking out at them darkly.]



But enough about the ducks! Hi! Can I see your talking device? I'd like to try something!

Okay... [To say she was confused was an understatement.] What is it you want to try?

I can't seem to get mine to work. It doesn't seem to be doing the whole voice thingie. Maybe if we get them closer together, it could work?

I've tried everything else.

[Almost literally.]

I can always show you. You don't need more than one device in order to get it to work. Though I will admit that I didn't know how it worked when I arrived.

[She was happy to get her outs to show her how she does it on her own device.]

So as you can tell it always starts off like this, okay?

[Yuelia already had hers out. Noticeably, she's still giving her 'bring them together' a try and is inching hers ever-so closer to Rapunzel's device.]

[She moved to point at a certain area of her device before looking over.]

Oh! [She practically GLOWS when she sees the screen come on.] It never did that before! Though that's it...?

[She flips the thing to its side to look at the button she pressed.] But that's it? Huh. With how fancy this thing is, that's not a whole lot, huh?

[It would explain why all the other things she tried didn't work, though.]

No. But it's still pretty amazing at what it can do. Like there is a way to see contacts of everyone who owns such a device.

[That was just one of the things she was aware of as she soon looked through it.]

There are also things known as games on it. I have never played them though.

I love that! I think this would be an amazing way to keep people closer together!

[She is troubled by one thing.] You haven't played the games? Ohh, I think that is a serious oversight!

Er, if you can show me, please?

It is an amazing way of talking to people who are in other cities.

[She shook her head slightly.]

I haven't. As fasinating, as it could be, I couldn't think of a reason to give it a try. But if that is what you want to be shown I can try. But I won't know how to play it.

...think of a reason...

...to play a game.

[Sorry Rapunzel, she's seen a lot of strange things since coming here, but that's one of the strangest things she's heard so far.]

[She can't keep herself from staring aaand maybe making this super awkward.]

No. Not while I had many other things to do.

[She did a good few jobs, worked on her charity and wanted to help others on the side. So she tended to do a lot with the time she had and not much time to think about things such as games on the mobile.]

The only games I ever played was chess and hide and seek.

[Her stare softened to a smile at Rapunzel's description.]

It sounds like you have a very rich and busy Life.

[And then she kicks up her feet with a laugh.] Still! There's no reason not to play games every now and then! Games are supposed to be fun! When you have the time for it, of course.

Especially if there's other people around. That makes things even better!

The games I did play were fun when I could play them. But I don't really have anyone to play them with when I do have the time. My friend back home who I would isn't here currently.

[And she still kind of missed him after nearly two years.]
