First Needle [Arrival]
WHO: Hornet and you!
WHAT: Not-local bug wakes up and doesn't know what's going on
WHEN: June 12th
WHERE: Genessia City, in the general bay area.
WARNINGS: Cartoony spider-person?
When you live the life that Hornet has, waking up in a strange place with no memory of what happened to you is an absolutely terrifying concept.
As a result, she takes no time to consider the strange box left with her. She takes it with her, but she's quick to jump out of the pod, and head off in what feels like a good direction. The hologram is startling, as is all this light. She doesn't listen, too confused by the appearance of the person and by, well. Everything else. This definitely isn't Hallownest. Nothing seems right.
So. Now there's an odd, red-cloaked bug on the shorter side, skittering around the bay area in a clear panic, hiding behind things and being absolutely gobsmacked by, well. Everything. People. Cars. Structures. Once approached, though, she is quick to turn on whoever it is, drawing her needle and pointing it threateningly. "Who are you?! What are you?!"

"Careful! You'll poke an eye out with that thing!!" Or, worse, make a quick insect specimen out of her.

She turns back, clearly puzzled. "I've not seen such a small butterfly before."
no subject
She tried to puff herself up, which... well, only made the glow around her even brighter. Ah well. "Um... are you talking about people?" She wasn't quite sure what she was insinuating yet, but she was willing to try!!

She looks back in the direction she had just gestured in. "I... Suppose? I don't know what they are, I've not seen such creatures before."
no subject
She then fluttered nearer to Hornet. "Though I confess, I haven't seen anything like you before! You're ah... kinda pointy!" And pretty in her own way, but she'd keep that to herself.
no subject
"If I might use your wording, I am a spider called Hornet. Being... 'pointy' comes with the territory where I'm from."
no subject
The butterfly's enthusiasm only increases as she hears Hornet's tale, and she risks coming in a little closer to get a better look at her. "So you're a spider? That's cool! Most of the spiders in my world are tiny. Even tinier than me, actually! So does that mean that where you're from there are gigantic butterflies? I mean, that would make sense, right?"
no subject
After the shock had worn off she made sure to at least reply to the other. "My name is Winry and... I don't know how to answer the last part. I assume human since... I don't think you are"
