[Anakin is quick on his feet, striding from the docks as if he does this everyday. He can't allow himself to be weak or confused; he has to keep his feet firmly planted and then, in private, panic later.]

This is one hell of a welcome. [He scowls darkly and there are shadows around his eyes as if he has spent many nights not sleeping.] I'm not anyone's prisoner. If you think you can hold me, you are sorely mistaken.

He said...

He told me something. He said he knows a power that will reverse death. Time is running out and I was willing to do anything to learn it.

[Including kill those he had once looked up to and maybe even loved.]

So you must kill many to save another?

The good they will do will...more than make up for it. They are worth the sacrifice.

Of all the Jedi?

...yes. [He is firm, but it's clear he is uncomfortable.]

They must be very special indeed, for you to no longer side with the Jedi. But perhaps you also saw how much damage they caused.

They failed me...and my friends...too many times. I always thought they could do more and each time I begged, they refused.

They only see their side and their ways and refuse to seek another point of view. My people learned this in the most devastating way, when the Jedi's narrowmindedness caused the deaths of thousands and the suffering of far more.

If you can see past them and their arrogance, then you are learning.

It's not hard for me to imagine them screwing up that badly.

[All of it is more of the same on a much larger scale. Yet they pretend like they are above all of it.]

I guess it is arrogance.
