[Action in Fayren]

[Qubine may not have acted like it, but he was not about to take any ominous messages lightly. It also occurred to him that he needed to step up his own game if he was going to prepare for any threats that may arise. Unfortunately, opportunities for training came few and far between for someone of his size. It was well past time to rectify that.]

[So on this summer day, Qubine decides to bring out one of his most powerful dragon allies, Sabori, from his subarchway, and then they rush each other for battle.]

[Those who are outside may feel an unusually chilled breeze. Or they may see the sky fade from blue to dark violet for a few seconds before returning to blue. They may hear deep rumbling in the distance, or they may even feel the ground rumble beneath their feet.]

[For those who are close enough, or who are crazy enough to investigate what's going on, they can actually see the two dragons locked in a fierce battle. For those who recognized Qubine and had thought he was huge before, they'd find that Sabori is almost thrice his size. They can be seen rushing each other in the sky, clashing for a moment. Qubine forms a large boulder of ice, slamming it into the larger dragon, knocking her out of the sky. Sabori corrects herself as she falls, landing on the ground with a powerful thud, chunks of ice raining down around her like oversized hail. Qubine dives towards her with a piercing draconic roar, forming another ice boulder. This time, Sabori hops backward, and the boulder shatters on the ground, chunks flying in every direction. Qubine dashes at her again, and the two dragons lock in a furious exchange of claw swipes, while also dodging the other's attacks in between. Both dragons move at a blinding speed, until Sabori conjures a ball of dark energy, lashing at Qubine. The blast hits him, and he flies back a good distance, skidding on the ground with his paws until he comes to a stop. Dark steam seems to rise from his scales as Qubine catches his breath. Sabori holds her ground, glaring as the air around her becomes thick with a cloud of darkness. Qubine lowers his stance, ready to attack again...]

[While both dragons have done their best to keep their battle away from any residential areas, the effects of their battle can be seen, heard, or felt anywhere within Fayren.]
