[Being gracious and formal? Nah. He's going to show a little kid's enthusiasm for a victory he hadn't even been all that invested in. He entered the political matches more to feed on the negative emotions of the people around and for his own amusement.

He supposes he did a better job of showing that he was competent this time around, and it probably helps that he actually did his paperwork correctly this time.]

Thank you! Is there going to be a Guardian meeting soon? Those happen, right?

It should be organized so we can all be aware of any trouble and the plans to combat problems.

We should probably give tours around each others' cities at these meetings, too, just so it's easier to find if any of us have to ask for backup from other Guardians.

I don't see why that would be a problem. We all became Guardians for the same reasons, right?

For the safety of others, yes. I guess it would seem odd if someone wanted the job for other reasons.

A deputy has to know Everglade pretty well, be comfortable with supernatural beings, be available to go on patrols regularly, and know how to fight. And also be at least kind of responsible 'cause it's a law enforcement job.

Well, I'm not going to rule someone out just 'cause they were late with returning library books or got really drunk once at a party as long as they're usually responsible.

You would think that that kind of job on the job they should be all the time anyway.

It's obvious no one is always responsible outside. But still a strange choice of words since you don't consider what they do outside anyway unless they are for example always late.
