July Catch-All [Pokemon hunting and...hunting hunting]
Who: Kier and erryone
What: random things
When: All of July!
Why: Because this lone wolf needs to be less alone
Hungry
Despite the variety of creatures crawling both the forest of Fayren and Everglade at night, there's something very odd about the wolf prowling through the street and trees, especially in the way its eyes seem to shine and swirl with silver. Unfortunately, it's not staying still long enough to study, and in the next moment, seems to be entirely gone...
but that falcon one might not have noticed before seems to have the same strange presence, and is very careful to watch your every move.
Kier's hungry. While an excellent hunter, recent events have done very little to whet his appetite, and he might not just be hunting for one these days...
Pokemon Adventures
Please pay no attention to the man stumbling out of the woods, brushing off his once tidy clothes and swearing foul-y under his breath. The litten balancing on his shoulder and the wooper toddling after him don't seem to mind it much, though even the pokemon look a little weary themselves.

Hungry
Re: Hungry
...then narrowed his silver gaze on her. Not Li... the smell wasn't right, but the coat... Another kelpie?
Or a romantic meal for two before what he was sure would be an invigorating evening?
Curious, he padded closer on silent paws before shifting with a rustle of dying leaves.
Now in the form of a rather large mountain cat, he crouched, readying himself to strike...then leapt for her, claws and fangs ready.
Re: Hungry
Meanwhile, her Ivysaur had been blending into the scenery, and seeing her worry had put him on alert.
Suddenly, there was a mountain cat leaping towards Lily who startled away from it in alarm, her head going down as her horn prepared to stab the mountain cat. Normally animals didn't attack her. Even the predators. She was too sacred of a creature for them to try such a thing, so why was this mountain cat attacking her now? She didn't know, but she was prepared to fight before Ivysaur used vine whip on the creature, trying to keep it away from it's trainer as it attempted to use the fights to whip the creature away. It wouldn't touching his trainer if he had anything to do with it as he got between Lily and the cat.

That was not a kelpie. A unicorn stood only yards from him, and a stunningly dark one at that. Had he even thought...
Secondly, there was one of those pokemon there to defend it. Odd, but not terribly so, given the lore from even his world.
Third, that pokemon's vines would meet their mark, even as he shifted into something much lighter, throwing him well off his path. The mountain cat's sharp yowl turned into a hawk's screech as he transformed and swooped upward, circling the few trees about them a moment before dropping to the earth in another swirl of dark magic and taking his human-like form. Handsome... lean, but strong... and pissed.
Fine. If a pokemon wanted to play, he could play right back. His hand moved for the ball at his belt.

"What do you think you're doing?!" She asked, equally pissed off now. "I'm not about to be your meal."
Her Ivysaur seemed just as pissed off as Lily was at the moment, and was holding it's ground to protect it's trainer with everything it had.

Surprise flooding his face, he stared at her, then shook his head with a growl. "No, I'd imagine not." His gaze slid back to the Ivysaur, and he bared his teeth, canines noticeably sharp. "And I'm not a fan of 'salad', so I guess I'm out of luck."
no subject
"So it seems. You know if you're going to hunt something, you might want to not pick someone who's a resident here."
no subject
Ugh, why had he waited so long to hunt? At least Li could fend for herself, despite his inherent drive to bring something back to her cave for her. Stupid instincts.

"...you know Li?"
no subject
She seemed to relax slightly when he seemed to know Li, but she still had her guard up and was still quite annoyed at him.
"How do you know Li?"
no subject
"We're friends," he told her simply, shrugging before crossing his arms and regarding her again, this time letting his gaze sweep over her fully. "She was the first... interesting person I met when I was brought here."
He leveled his gaze on her again, steady. "Now that she's chosen me as her stallion for the time being, though, I guess that makes you and I kin of sorts."
no subject
She swished her tail, unsure about him still as her ears flicked back and forth in indecision.
"It seems we've gotten off on the wrong food. I'm Lily."
no subject
A few paces later and darkness curled about his legs, slowly overtaking him as he shifted. A moment more and a powerful sturdy stallion stood in his place, just as beautiful and wicked as the male it had replaced.
He shook out his mane before turning to watch her again. Better?, he asked, mind to mind.
He could tell she was uneasy. Perhaps she'd like this form better.
no subject
You approached me as a predator. Changing into a stallion won't make me any less nervous considering I don't really know you.
no subject
Now a tiny puppy flopped onto its side in front of her, then rolled onto his back, tail wagging.
And now?
no subject
See, now you're just trying too hard.
no subject
Perhaps, but it's working, hm?
no subject
She had to admit he was a cute puppy though. Damn him for playing unfairly.
no subject
Of course, mi'lady, he acquiesced, before turning those silvery blue eye on her and shifting back into his original form once more. Though his casually amused expression never faltered, he studied her again, wondering if he would ever even deserve that trust. He meant her no harm, of course, but he was far to used to earning the exact opposite.
"I would expect no less," he told her, brushing off the surprisingly tidy sleeves of his shirt. "We did just meet, after all. On a more positive note, you're the first living unicorn I've ever laid eyes on."
Pieces of them, however....
no subject
"I can't say living unicorns are common where I'm from either. I'd certainly never seen one until I transformed into one. Talk about a surprise. There was another unicorn here for a little bit, but I'm the only one here now that I know of."
no subject
"You're even more lovely in person," he purred, shifting his weight to the opposite foot and crossing his arms over his chest. What a lovely surprise, indeed. Was that recent?
Young... she looked so young. Just like...
no subject
"Li always thinks something's wrong with me for preferring this form, but she didn't grow up like this."
no subject
He snorted, shaking his head and ruffling the wavy hair out of his face. "Li does have quite strong opinions... I assume you did grow up in this form, then?"
