[It starts with a song, really, even before the feed turns to visual to show a young man (familiar to some) with silver-blond hair, singing and strumming on a guitar to a young dragon before him.
Even chirping along! For those who have seen Rhaegar around or know him, there's a rare lightness about him and the dragon chirping earns a little grin every so often as the music permits. To those who happen to understand High Valyrian, he's singing a silly little tune about soaring over oceans and playing in the surf.
And to those who recognize his surroundings and wish to come visit, he's in Fayren on a stretch of beach where there are comfortable rocks to sit on.]

Isn't that a pretty song, sweet girl?
no subject
I hope it meets your approval, sweet one! I was inspired by you and your brothers.
no subject
Drogon needs a song too, brother. (With her hair cut so short that it barely reaches her shoulders, Daenerys can't help but have her oldest son on her mind. She turns and smiles softly at the shadow in the distance. Drogon has never properly enjoyed a beach and it must feel good to stretch out in the heat of midday.)
He likes the children too. I think it's a relief to him to not be alone.
no subject
I have one for him already. And for you.
[Getting to know Drogon has been a pleasure and a delight. Learning just where to scratch or rub, what the mighty dragon doesn't like...Everything.
The tune he plays on the guitar changes, growing a touch melancholy with a hint still of hope and joy at the edges. He sings now a far sadder song, of war and death, but also life and a fierce refusal to lose everything. Even in the end, he knows Daenerys would look for something to hold onto.]

For me?
(She sits down at his feet, tickling the tussling Dragons until they are more focused on joining her instead of fighting. Rhaegar's song has her leaning against his leg, a few tears blurring her vision. The notes are carried on the wind and she hears Drogon give a mighty sigh.)
Thank you, brother. (Daenerys wants to leave Drogon here, at least, and if she must return, she will find Rhaegar, Drogo, Rhaego, Viserion and Rhaegal. As well as Jorah, Missandei and all the precious friends she lost.) We will be together.
no subject
You think I've been idle, sister? [He teases her gently, no actual mockery in his voice. He smiles when she calms the hatchlings and coaxes them into her lap.
When he finishes the song, he sets the guitar down and reaches down to run gentle fingers through her short hair.]
We are. Shall we go join Drogon?
no subject
(The hatchlings are comforted with practiced hands, cleaning off the sand on their scales. Rhaegar's proud boy fusses, but his sister likes the attention, her tail wagging.)
He would like that. (She grins up at him, lifting the babies as she stands.) Would you like to ride him over the sea?
no subject
I would never turn such a ride down.
no subject
I know you will work well together.
no subject
[They are old enough to know how to hold on without fear, so he simply trusts them to do so and lets his sister lead the way. Drogon earns the warm smile and fearless approach as Rhaegar moves to rest a hand on his great nose.]
no subject
Grab onto whatever you can find, brother. But he is a smooth flier.
no subject
Do you plan to stay on the ground, sister?

Then we will return.
[He leans over Drogon's neck and urges the great dragon to take to the air. What does their new home really look like from the air?
It might take them a few hours to return, sorry?]
no subject
You will be that big one day, Valonqar. (Then she nuzzles her sweet girl.) I don't know about you, pretty one, but it doesn't matter. You will have children of your own to grow that big if nothing else.
(She spends those hours enjoying the beach and playing games in the surf with the hatchlings. When they are sleepy and content, she sees a great shadow returning on the horizon.)
Hazi davrae, Drogon. ("That's good, Drogon.")
no subject
And they're back before the sun sets, so that's something? Drogon lands and Daenerys will see the fierce smile on her brother's face. There's no damage to the guitar, either, even as the dragon lowers a wing to let him off just as he'd gotten up earlier.
Rhaegar rests a hand once again on the dragon's neck, closer to his head, in wordless thanks before going to his sister and pulling her into a warm embrace (but takes care to not squash the hatchlings!)]
We flew all over!

Daenerys smiles at the tuckered out babies beside her, feeling as protective and fierce as a mother Dragon over their little lives. These two won't have to fight like her precious sons have had to do.)
You look like you enjoyed yourself? (She wraps her arms around him tightly, peeking at Drogon over Rhaegar's shoulder. There is something soft about the Dragon's features, hinting at his contentment.)
Did you see anything interesting?
[Action]
[The little glittering gold dragon flies into view, landing a good distance away before carefully crawling towards the company. She stays quiet, not wanting to interrupt the song. She glances at the hatchling as she moves beside it.]
Hello... [She greets softly.]
no subject
The hatchling chirps at her, peering at her curiously, much as Rhaegar who lets the song end naturally.]
Hello little one. You are welcome here.
no subject
What kind of music were you playing?
no subject
One I've composed for this little one and his sister. The language is the one of my birth, called High Valyrian, if you've heard of it.
no subject
[When the little dragon suddenly comes to sniff at her, she becomes startled, squealing and flailing for a split second as she tips over to the ground. She picks herself up, realizing what the little dragon was doing, and holds out a talon.]
Ah...sorry...
no subject
[And there's proof for why Rhaegar holds himself still. The young dragon murrs softly at her, crouching low to the ground and doesn't approach again until she offers a talon. Then he stretches his neck out towards her again, looking to the human for support (given in an encouraging nod) before sniffing at her.]
There is no need to be sorry. He's merely curious.
no subject
Oh, Daenerys is your sister?? I've met her before...
[She rotates her talon in front of the young dragon.]
I know...I shouldn't get so startled like that, especially with another dragon. I still can't shake what's happening in my own world, and I really shouldn't either...
video
Sorry, Rhaegar, this teenaged boy is here to vibrate into the sun with excitement.. ]
Is that a real dragon?
video /HAPPY FLAILS AT
A really young one, yes. A few months old. There are older ones here, if you are interested in meeting them? Many are old enough to ride, if they like you enough.
[The red/black hatchling peers curiously at Peter, hopping closer to Rhaegar.]
HELLO sorry about my nerd in advance
[ He leans in closer to the screen, as if that will get him closer to the bitty baby dragon. ]
no subject
[Peter gets a little chirp from the little dragon and Rhaegar finally chuckles and reaches down to rub eyeridges.]
Then come to the beaches of Fayren, and I will guide you from there.
no subject
Yeah, okay, I think I can do that much. I've got a map and a GPS so that should totally work. Be there in ... however long?
[ You'd better believe he's gonna be webslinging through the city and/or trees to get there as fast as he can. ]
(( OOC: OH MY GOD that's amazing. That's my first time seeing that picture. ))
XD
We will be here, waiting. I have a few more songs, so however long it takes you is just as well.
[And he's patient and comfortable right where he is.]
no subject
[ He is absolutely going to rush. Also his Rowlet is coming with him because why the heck not. He needs a picture of Owlfred Pennyworth meeting a dragon, like, stat.
Anyway, the feed cuts off for a while. Before too long there's an awkward teenager with a Pokémon in a backpack heading out to the beach, trying to figure out where he's supposed to go. ]
Video:
[ One day it’s not gonna surprise anyone that Gwen is on a rooftop in Nova City. She enjoys the view and there is a wonderful breeze today, sending her almost white blonde hair flying some. Her Fennekin is on her shoulder, peeking at the video feed with interest and chewing on a twig. ]
I can play the drums but...never really tried anything else. How long have you been playing?
