Guardian Meeting (Guardians only)

[Since becoming Nova City's Guardian, Grievous had wanted to encourage more communication between the Guardians. He'd suggested an official meeting so they could all discuss any issues or bring up any concerns - or just to talk in general to all be on the same page. He'd offered the offices at Nova but it had been decided to better have it in Genessia since that was more central. Once everyone had gathered, Grievous addressed them.]

I thank you all for coming to this Guardian meeting. Does anyone have any questions or points they wish to raise, to begin?

PEOPLE ARE STILL WARMING UP TO THE GREAT PAPYRUS. THEY THINK I'M UNDEAD, WHICH APPARENTLY IS A BAD THING??? WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT A GUARDIAN WHO'S ALIVE AND GREAT? NEXT THEY'LL BE SAYING BEING UNDIRTY'S A BAD THING TOO! BUT IT'S NOT, BECAUSE I SHOWER REGULARLY!!

SO I HAVEN'T, UH, GOTTEN THE KNIGHTS AND THE NOBILITY AROUND TO THE WHOLE "TREAT PEOPLE EQUALLY" THING. BUT I'M WORKING VERY HARD ON IT!! Nova City has had some incidents lately but they are being dealt with. I have need of more deputies as well since I have only had formal meetings with one and not yet any applicants for the remaining positions.

[He also had a deputy he hasn't been able to contact.]

I don't think models are something to model off of. That's more the person they are based on.

I guess I'll go next for reports.

{She coughs for a moment, papers in hand but after a moment she paused to shuffle them. This is her first meeting and she was honestly a little nervous. So after another shuffling, she finally speaks and it seems becomes a little obvious she is not used to this.]

Not a lot to honestly report. I have been pondering over how to get the best in terms of security and also with only one Deputy currently I will need to see if any more people would be interested. But... I am slowly working on maybe finding good ways of people channeling their energy into other things so that crime rates can go down.

[And fewer gnomes will be captured in the process may be.]

[Unbothered by (read: Pleased by,) the lack of a figurine, Satou waits her turn. She's set up the office for the meeting with refreshments and has her old Pokemon assisting-- namely her Kirlia,-- with delivering trays of food to everyone.

When it's time for Genessia to report, she takes her stand.]

In Genessia, I'm wanting to focus on readying our civilians for emergencies. I still think that it's important that everyone know the proper procedures, and how to help in times of need. The Training Center will meet this need.

I'd also like to introduce everyone to my Deputies. Because Genessia is the central city, I will be posting a Deputy at each archway. If something comes up in another city, I'll have those Deputies nearby and available for you to coordinate with. This will also apply to any criminal activity. We'll be doing our best to make sure no criminal can escape one city and slip into another through Genessia.

Right now, Bulla Brief is assigned to Nova City's Archway, Allen Walker to Fayren, Lea to Attleton, and I'll be doubling on Everglade until a new Deputy is found. I'll hand out contact information so that everyone can get in touch with them.

Aside from Genessia... I do think that we should try to unify some laws and procedures between our cities. Maybe do some fundraising events together to show our unity to the civilians?

Fundraising events are always a fun little thing to do. I would love to try and do something. But what would the first cause be toward?

[Rapunzel had mostly been listening to the others before and after her own, so she knew people were doing a lot more things than she had and it now just made her more determined to try her hardest, even if she still felt like she had not a single clue what to do.]

But I will be happy to work with you and see what we can do.
