Of all the cities attached to Genessia, Fayren is the closest to my homeworld. Yes, the technology of Nova City is closer to what I'm used to, but the nature here is far more peaceful.

[She turns her gaze to the comm, resting her chin on a cupped palm.]

What worlds has everyone else here been to? Would you be willing to talk to me about them?


[She taps a button after that and makes the next part private to one Anakin Skywalker.]

I've been thinking. We haven't spent enough time together here. So I put together a lunch for us.

[She grins slightly and she teases him.] I found a nice spot far enough from the beaches, you won't need to worry about sand getting everywhere.

I think you would be amazing. [A few minutes later, he is within sight of her, holding a bouquet of flowers he picked himself in one hand. He should get an award for his Padmé radar, shouldn't he?]

[Secrets can and will tear people apart. She'd far rather hear even the worst of what he's done than be kept in the dark knowing there's something important he's kept from her.

She ducks her head, cheeks pinking shyly.]

I'm lucky too, Ani.

[She's not the only one in their marriage with such faith in the other.

When he comes into view, she stands, barely resisting the urge to make sure her dress is in perfect order. At least her hair is braided back to keep out of her face! At her feet is a basket as promised.

Seeing the flowers in his hand, her smile widens and she quickly moves to greet him with a kiss. This isn't their galaxy. She figures they can get away with it!]

[She amazes him more and more each day. It's time he started repaying her loving generosity - and he will. Upon seeing her, his breath catches in his chest. She has nothing to straighten or change in his eyes; she is as sweet and perfect as the day they spent together in the meadow on Naboo.

The kiss is returned enthusiastically and he gathers her close, kissing her again for good measure when the first one ends.]

They reminded me a little bit of you, though they're not nearly as pretty.

Seeing him always reassures her. Her heart leaps at the kiss and his arms holding her close. She smiles against his lips and curls her arms around his neck.]

[Anakin nuzzles her neck and breathes in her sweet scent, rubbing over her back. He won't smother her too much - just enough.]

I am! I don't mind being biased either. [He glances at the basket, smiling softly.] We haven't had a chance like this since Naboo, have we.

Padmé leans against him, resting her cheek on his shoulder and happily soaks up this reality.]

No, we haven't. But we should, while we're here.

[She pulls away, though reaches for his hand to tug him back to the spot she'd picked out.]

I hope you don't mind if I brought some foods I don't recognize. [She also brought apples though.]

[She is meant to be like this with him. It feels so right that it flies in the face of all the Darkness within him.]

I agree. [He follows her without any hesitation, grinning at her guidance.]

We can try them together. [Anakin notices the apples once the basket is opened, his expression brightening. With a flick of his wrist, one apple floats out from the rest, hovering near her.]
