[He really had very little to no idea of where he was currently. He seemed a little lost as he slowly made his way out into the Bay, his left cheek he could already tell was a little sore as he rubbed it slightly as he was looking around. After a while and seeing the hologram Momiji was starting to understand that he was far from home and that brought on a new set of worries. But people might not notice such a thing when he finally, turns on the device. He looks rather happy, even with what appears to be a mark on his cheek.]

[It was the best way to say hello, right?]

My name is Momiji and after listening to the lady in the entrance, I have some understanding that I need to settle into life here. But I am also wondering if there is a way to check if there might be people I might know. I assume there is such a way, right? That was something that wasn't exactly explained. [And he honestly just wanted to check if there was anyone here with him or not.]

For work... I don't know what to do there. I was in High School before I found myself here, so I don't really have much in terms of skills or experience. But I am willing to learn.

[After he was done with the device he kept it in his grasp with some other things his plan was to just explore, maybe take some time to himself to ponder over what happened before he found himself here, but overall he had to figure out what he was going to do next. He heard what the hologram had said, but it was easier said than done, more so since there were certain things that Momiji had to avoid which as he looked around at the number of people he started to wonder just how hard that was going to be.

He soon found himself walking past a pet store, where there were a couple of rabbits in the window display and were now starting to press up against the window, little paws lightly pressed against the glass as Momiji ws looking around. He knew he should really tend to his cheek so best ask around, right? Upon spotting someone he went to walk over.]

Excuse me? Do you know of a store nearby where I can get a few things?

[Akito is resting in a window-seat, knees draw to their chest.]

Momiji. [It's a command. Come find me.] There is a school.

[Well that at least answered one question. For a brief moment, he touched his own cheek. He at least knew what he had to do and because of that he was already walking before he spoke up again.]

So I guess I at least have that option. [He feels like asking this was probably a bad idea, but he knows he should ask anyway to get a better picture of the situation.]

Are you alone? Or are there others with you?

[They observe him, noticing every small nuance. That cheek touch doesn't miss their attention and they smirk, self-satisfied. But that never lasts, does it?]

You need to finish. [The schools here might be crap - they don't know.] We can visit them together.

[Now here is the difficult part. With their weaknesses, they don't have much of a choice, do they.]

Honda is here. Are you happy?

[It was true that he did need to finish school, but he couldn't help but think about the hologram a bit more. They never mentioned it, but wouldn't it be logical to have that choice?

But it didn't take the other long to be quite surprised at the mention of there being one other. However, what he hadn't expected was who that person was exactly. That... wasn't good. He remembered what happened before he had found himself here and so he couldn't help but worry. More so if they were to ever get mad.]

She's...here? [He knew he was happy. But at the same time, he knew he might say something wrong by admitting as such. But he hoped he was saying the right thing.] I... am happy that she is here. But at the same time, I feel sad because then it means she isn't at home and is in the same situation as us. [He paused for a moment. He knew what he might say next might not be a bad idea, but it was in the back of his mind.]

You haven't hurt her here, have you? You didn't get mad?

[He knew he probably said the wrong thing and he knew what that could mean. So he was getting slightly quicker with his steps.]

[Assumptions! Akito hears the emotions and they grate against their already sore, injured heart. None of the older members of the Zodiac are here and so the possibility of anyone putting up with their violence and bad attitude is basically nil. Except...]

Why worry so much about her? She has made a life here. [And that aggravates them too. Getting a steady job isn't a simple matter for someone like Akito and they haven't been feeling well.]

What could you do about it if I did? I thought we had this discussion before. [They stretch out their legs with a small grimace, glancing to the side at certain Pokémon that has taken up residence in Tohru's home.]

I'm not a bad house guest.

Because she's a friend.

[At the moment he had looked away from the device, mostly because he had to play avoid the person for the moment, so his focus seemed to be more on his walking.]

There isn't anything I could do about it if it's something that has already happened, but she still shouldn't be hurt when she hasn't done anything wrong. [He soon turned a corner, pausing for a brief moment. He was sure he was probably close by which was always a good thing.]

I should be there soon, though. I think I'm going the right way, but this city is pretty big and new.

[ The boy in the video calls himself a highschooler, so in the grand scheme of things he can't really be that much younger than Yuuri herself. But something about the way he carries himself makes her think isn't he a little young to be stuck here on his own?. Even as she thinks it, though, she knows where that little surge of protective worry comes from – she's self-aware enough to know exactly what association that mess of blonde hair sets off in her brain.

It's almost irritating to be so predictable.

But regardless, she can't quite stop herself from putting out a video response as well. ]

Putting out a video seems to be the best way to go about it – if they're here, they'll see it sooner or later. [ it worked out for Yuuri, after all. ] You said you're still in high school, right? There's a public school in Genessia City that you'll be able to attend if you still want to go.

[ She's doing her best to smile as she says this, even if it seems a bit strained. ]

Ja, I was. [As much as he really didn't look it.] I was going to go check out the school since someone mentioned there were schools here. [And that someone was the head of the household where he was from so he knew to at least listen to them.]

What do you do around here or are you like me and only just arrived?

I'm a new arrival myself, so I'm still finding my feet a bit but I have some work lined up at one of the ranches once I've settled in some more.

[ It certainly feels a bit too convenient for Yuuri's tastes, but she's aware that's paranoia speaking rather than good sense – though it's often hard to distinguish the two. ]

You shouldn't have to worry too much about finding work for your first month or so, though. You got some money with your arrival package, right?

It seems like this place has everything. Including ranches.

[He nodded happily before holding up the items.]

Yes, I did and there are a couple of people I know here it seems, so I should get along okay.

[ Everything except a way home, she thinks but is smart enough to not say out loud. No need to rub salt into the wound. ]

That's good. As long as you've got some people to look out for you, then I'm sure you'll be just fine. If you ever get into trouble or need some help, make sure to keep an eye out for one of the Guardians, okay?

Guardians?

[He had heard that word thrown around here. he knew the meaning behind the word. He just didn't understand why a guardian was a thing when it seemed they had police in Genessia at least.]

I will, but I could just go to the police if anything too bad were to happen to.

Oh, of course – if it's anything dangerous, the police are absolutely the first people you should speak to.

But I meant more along the lines of settling in around here. They're all people who've gone through the same thing we have, with arriving and having to get used to things. So I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

Are they really the ones who people would need to ask for settling in? I think they would have other jobs to do.

[Her eyes are drawn to the mark on his cheek. The memories of the minutes in which that was conflicted, and all of the stresses Tohru realized in those few minutes, flood to her.

But she snaps a lid over those emotions, instead blurting---]

Momiji-kun! I-Iiit's me, Tohru! Wait, you know that-- Where are you-- Wait, The Bay? Hang on, I'm coming!

Ah! I was told you here.

[Care to take a guess who said that? It did cause Momiji a bit of worry all things considering, but he soon seemed a little bit happier.]

I was at the Bay, but I have moved since then. I am now... at Iris Avenue.
