(Eighth Flight - Video)
(Not many will hear the purring of contented Dragons, yet that deep rumble cannot be mistaken. Daenerys is sitting by her eldest son, running a hand soothingly over his forehead. She is also singing.
The youngest Targaryen does not have the voice of her brother - in all its sweet power - but she can sing. The song itself is sad, but maybe a bit fitting after all she and Drogon have endured.)
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts
The ones she had lost and the ones she had found
And the ones who had loved her the most
The ones who'd been gone for so very long
She couldn't remember their names
They spun her around on the damp old stones
Spun away all her sorrow and pain
And she never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
They danced through the day and into the night
Through the snow that swept through the hall
From winter to summer then winter again
Til the walls did crumble and fall
And she never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
And she never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
Never wanted to leave
High in the halls of the kings who are gone

That was...beautiful...and yet it makes me feel sad...

I didn't write it, but you're right, it is sad. I think a lot of people can understand Jenny.

That song seems...fitting. I wish I knew some dragons in Sornieth who could write music. The dragons in my clan have different talents, but I haven't seen any of them make music...

I would like to hear you sing.

[But the idea of her singing suddenly sends her brain scrambling.]
Me?? I-I-I...I don't know what to sing!

I...I haven't heard many songs at all. The last time I saw someone sing, he was in a different language. He said it was..."High Valyrian." He had a dragon hatchling with him, too...

What is it like to have siblings?

(Now this part is complicated. Because Targaryens.)
I met Rhaegar for the first time here. He was killed before I was born, however I did have another brother named Viserys. We were...very close.
(Until he went mad.)

He pauses by Drogon to rest a gentle hand on his neck, trusting the great dragon already knew of his approach. But then he kneels beside his sister, letting the female hatchling hop over to her and nuzzle her.]
Who taught you that song?
no subject
What have you been up to today?
(The hatchlings adore Rhaegar and she knows they go on adventures with him.)
I heard it when I was in the North.
no subject
Wandering, mostly. There is still much I have not seen here, even with Drogon's mighty wings.
[Rhaegar watches her, as he often does when they're together, looking for hints to how she's feeling. Their family's madness has touched her more than him, and it hurts to see. But he won't abandon her.]
What other songs have you learned? You have a lovely voice, my sister.
no subject
I see you, sweet boy. (Stroking over the little red and black's head, she glances at Rhaegar cautiously. He is the one with a voice meant to melt hearts.)
I...don't know many. There is The Dance of the Dragons, but that requires two voices.

Rhaegar shoots her a rather amused little grin and leans back against Drogon's neck before he starts to sing the male's part of the Dance of the Dragons.]

Eventually though, all songs come to an end and when this one does, he leans their foreheads together, heart light.]
We should sing together again. I will teach you more songs, as it pleases you.

Daenerys kisses Rhaegar enthusiastically.)
There is a little Dragon who wants to learn from you too.

[The song brought up a lot of his own emotions. Though he enjoyed it, he'd rather not address them directly, at least not yet.]
