So...I suppose this place isn't quite like home. A shame, but I should focus on learning what I can here.

First thing's first: I should introduce myself. I'm Mami Tomoe. I'm from a city called Mitakihara. It may take some time for me to get used to all this, but I'll do my best. Any help, of course, is appreciated.

[Mami sighed. She hoped Sayaka and Madoka got out of there alright. She couldn't do anything about it now though...So she needed to focus on what to do to get used to this place. And first thing on her list was to get a notebook to keep track of things around Genessia. Keeping notes was how she survived so long hunting witches after all.]

[She wandered around the city so long after getting the notebook, that she became hungry. Still, she continued walking, not wanting to give in and ask for directions. But she couldn't hold out forever, so she walked over to the first person she saw.]

Do you know where a good place to eat is? I'm new here.

Sorry, I'm new here, too. I don't know anything! I'm just sort of wandering and hoping to find something.

Don't worry about it. I should've prepared for this when I decided to start exploring.

[She hesitated. Maybe here she could afford to take a chance to be more social.]

If you haven't eaten yet, maybe we could look together?

Sounds good to me! I was just gonna follow my nose, but...

[She just looks around.]

Well, we could go to sci-fi town, too, I bet sci-fi restaurants would be cool as hell.

I'm sure the sci-fi town would be an excellent place to start looking.

[She didn't say it like that to be mean spirited, she was just amused. Besides they did sound pretty cool.]

I think the entrance to Nova City is this way. Is there any type of food you'd prefer? Or would anything be alright?

Hmmm... I mean, I'm always partial to American, but I'll take what I can get here as long as it's not, like, alien stuff that poisons people.

[Honestly- if she understood correctly- Nova City was probably the most likely to have alien food, but she didn't say that. Instead, she just followed her.]

I'm Mami Tomoe, by the way. If you don't mind me saying so, you seem pretty well adjusted for being new. [She giggled.] I would've thought you've been here for awhile.

[Mami's one to talk. Has she stopped smiling the entire time she's been here?]

Rose! [that's the only name you're getting unless you ask for more, at least.] Nice to meet you, Mami... Er, would you prefer 'Tomoe-chan'? It's been a couple years since I left Japan, so...

[She shrugs, sheepishly.]

I'm sort of... I guess you could call me an interdimensional tourist? This isn't the first time I've been pulled to another world with no context.

Actually, I do. I'm a cook over at the Bright Sky Diner. Are you hungry now? Because I can show you there if you'd like.

I'm fine with either, honestly. [Being called Mami made it sound like she had friends.]

I see. It must be interesting seeing all kinds of new places.

[It wasn't long before they were in Nova City. It was her first time through the portal, and she couldn't help but look behind her with wide eyes. It was a bit different from going into a labyrinth after all.]

I wonder how these portals work...And why whoever brought us here decided to use them to get from city to city.

... Ignore the fact that Mami might actually be her same height, or maybe even a little taller. Rose is Tiny. But she's older, okay.]

I'm not sure, either. Wormholes? Magic? Wormholes made with magic? When I first went through one of the portals here, I ended up just running back and forth through them for a while for fun, because they're so interesting.

[Its been awhile since she's been patted on the head, and she honestly doesn't know how to react to that. So...She ignores it.]

They are interesting. And I suppose it is more convenient than having multiple cities next to each other. But still it would be nice to know more.

Regardless, there should be food nearby.

[She continued forward, looking for someplace that looked like it sold food.]

Yeah... Wish Vera was here, she'd find something right away.

Though, I'm not even sure these cities are all on the same world, much less near each other. But you're right that it's convenient!

[She's going to just keep walking forward for a bit, and then stop, sniffing the air...]

Hold on, I smell it... A shabu-shabu place!

[rose, how do you smell that.]

[Madoka hears her voice, instantly recognizing it of course before she even turns to see her talking to someone else.

It's just like that moment when she first saw Sayaka here. There's one of the most excited squeals ever right before she rushes to try and hug her.]

[Mami winced at the squeal before turning away from who she had been talking to to see who it was. Her ever present smile that she showed everyone grew when she recognized her. Thank goodness she was safe. She lightly returned the hug, a bit more reserved in her excitement.]

Kaname-san, its wonderful to see you again. I'm glad you're safe. Is Miki-san here as well?

I would invite you to tea, but I don't have any yet. Perhaps there's a cafe nearby?

[Mami just nodded. She's willing to accept a lot for another chance at life, but possibly multiple different worlds is a difficult thing for her to wrap her head around.]

Let's go there then. Do you think you'll be able to find it?

[She wasn't going to question how she knew specifics.]

I think the best option would be some place relatively cheap, since I just arrived. I'm not very picky.

[That was a bit of a lie, she was used to nice things, but she didn't have her family's money here so she had to be careful about her spending.]

Well there is a diner that I assume would be on the cheap side. For slightly more money but really nice there are some cafes. One of which is cat-themed with actual cats.

[He at least knew of those off the top of his head anyway.]

I have. I've been here for almost a year now. But it doesn't feel like it's been that long, though. I guess you're a new arrival, huh?

At a sign, that says 'NOVA HOTPOT'.

I don't think she smelled it at all.]

My girlfriend! Her and Anya. They're both amazing... Vera's the type that can do anything, though, she's good at everything she puts her mind to! Except card games. It's cute, though.

[she's practically giving off an aura of hearts as she talks about them...]
