A second-I mean third chance
Video
So...I suppose this place isn't quite like home. A shame, but I should focus on learning what I can here.
First thing's first: I should introduce myself. I'm Mami Tomoe. I'm from a city called Mitakihara. It may take some time for me to get used to all this, but I'll do my best. Any help, of course, is appreciated.
I'll be in your care.
Action
[Mami sighed. She hoped Sayaka and Madoka got out of there alright. She couldn't do anything about it now though...So she needed to focus on what to do to get used to this place. And first thing on her list was to get a notebook to keep track of things around Genessia. Keeping notes was how she survived so long hunting witches after all.]
[She wandered around the city so long after getting the notebook, that she became hungry. Still, she continued walking, not wanting to give in and ask for directions. But she couldn't hold out forever, so she walked over to the first person she saw.]
Do you know where a good place to eat is? I'm new here.

Action
Sorry, I'm new here, too. I don't know anything! I'm just sort of wandering and hoping to find something.
Re: Action
Don't worry about it. I should've prepared for this when I decided to start exploring.
[She hesitated. Maybe here she could afford to take a chance to be more social.]
If you haven't eaten yet, maybe we could look together?
no subject
[She just looks around.]
Well, we could go to sci-fi town, too, I bet sci-fi restaurants would be cool as hell.
no subject
[She didn't say it like that to be mean spirited, she was just amused. Besides they did sound pretty cool.]
I think the entrance to Nova City is this way. Is there any type of food you'd prefer? Or would anything be alright?
no subject
Let's go, then! To Nova City!
[AND SHE'S GOING]

I'm Mami Tomoe, by the way. If you don't mind me saying so, you seem pretty well adjusted for being new. [She giggled.] I would've thought you've been here for awhile.
[Mami's one to talk. Has she stopped smiling the entire time she's been here?]
no subject
[She shrugs, sheepishly.]
I'm sort of... I guess you could call me an interdimensional tourist? This isn't the first time I've been pulled to another world with no context.

Actually, I do. I'm a cook over at the Bright Sky Diner. Are you hungry now? Because I can show you there if you'd like.
Re: Action
[Mami claped her hands together.]
I would love that. Thank you.
You've been here awhile then?
no subject
[With that, Shirou begins to walk in a different direction, slowly at first so Mami can catch up to him.]
I have. I've been here for almost a year now. But it doesn't feel like it's been that long, though. I guess you're a new arrival, huh?
no subject
I am. Today's my first day.
A year, huh? So I suppose people do stay here a long time then.
[Which was fine by her, honestly.]
Do you like it here?
no subject
[But when he hears Mami's question, Shirou falls into thought. He's not sure how to answer it.]
...It's hard to say. Sometimes it's nice enough, but other times things get weird. Sometimes the locals don't like us, and that makes things more difficult. And other times, strange things happen, like a portal to another land opens up. And then it turns out that the new land is filled with monsters and people have to get rid of them to do anything there.
no subject
I will be careful then. Thank you for letting me know.
Still, I hope to stay here awhile I think.

Action; oops, I should be sleeping before hopefully catching up w/ tags.... oh well, this first.
It's just like that moment when she first saw Sayaka here. There's one of the most excited squeals ever right before she rushes to try and hug her.]
Mami-san, you're heeeeeeeeeeeeere~!
no subject
Kaname-san, its wonderful to see you again. I'm glad you're safe. Is Miki-san here as well?
I would invite you to tea, but I don't have any yet. Perhaps there's a cafe nearby?

[Which usually made figuring it out a lot easier.],/small>
Re: action;
[That was a bit of a lie, she was used to nice things, but she didn't have her family's money here so she had to be careful about her spending.]
action;
[He at least knew of those off the top of his head anyway.]
Re: action;
I suppose.... the smart thing to do would be the diner. Thank you.
[She made a mental note to seek out the cat cafe once she got a job.]
Re: action;
[He seemed happy as he turned to started to walk.]
Follow me.
Re: action;
Thank you. You're very kind.
I should introduce myself. I'm Mami Tomoe.

Re: video
Miki-san, It's good to see you again.
[She politely ignored Sayaka's crying.]
Would you like to meet up?
Re: video
Re: video
[True to her word Mami would wait by the Bay. She would spend this time making sure she checked over everything she woke up with.]
