No. Despite appearances, a recreation could be easily made. All you'd have to do is make a Subarchway to whenever you saw the piece, take it--along with anything else useful, I suppose--then shut it down again when you were finished. Perhaps you might even direct all the aether into said Subarchway, so long as you're quick about bringing it down immediately thereafter.
