[From the Bay, a young woman suddenly DASHES out at full speed, stuffing maps and brochures into her apron pocket, her pendant too, and flinging the empty box into the nearest trash can. She moves at an all-out sprint through the streets, headed straight for the Attleton gate.]

[Hope you weren't in her way, or there's going to be a collision.]

[Or perhaps you're curious about why she's in such a rush, and decide to follow. If so, leap through that gate! She can only go so fast on her own two legs.]

[She doesn't stop until she reaches the bus stop, sweaty and panting for breath, where she's forced to wait anxiously for the next bus to roll along. She rocks up onto the balls of her sturdy brown shoes, peering down the street for a bus that isn't yet here. After several minutes, she finally settles down on the bench to wait with her hands nervously folded on her lap.]

[For those who remember Annie, she looks unusually fretful on the screen, and isn't trying to hide that worry behind a smile either. But she does remember her manners, waving with one hand. She's a little out of breath, with the Attleton countryside stretched out behind her.]

Good morning! I'm Annie. I was here before, had a farm, planted some crops, raised some animals. I even had a little house out here. But I can't find it anywhere!

[She casts an anxious look over her shoulder, then looks back to the screen.]

Did it get bulldozed or something? I don't mind the house so much, or the plants, even if it's kind of a waste, but I'm really worried about the animals I had. Did anyone adopt them? I'm not here to take them back, I just want to make sure they're okay! It would be a huge relief if someone did take them in. So...if you did...tell me? Thanks.

[Annie's amber eyes go wide with shock as she's suddenly hoisted up as easily as she picks up her chickens and rabbits. Her tools rattle loudly in her backpack at the sudden shift, and again as she squirms. She should appreciate the view from being this high up, but all she can look at is this young man's face.]

[He doesn't seem like he means any harm, but being held up under her armpits isn't all that comfortable.]
