[Trouble finds Gellert quite easily because, let's be frank, he looks for it. But the problem is - trouble tends to have teeth and claws and, well, he is a man that bleeds. Thus the deranged Wizard - he will agree to that title, by the way - is coughing up blood when the video begins. That can't be a good sign.]

The dragons sought revenge. [So he has dueled with a great beast and...lived. It's rather spectacular.] I need a Healer and quickly if you don't mind.

[He is back in civilization, somewhere in Fayren, his back pressed against the wall of a shop.]

[He presses his face against Albus's shoulder, fighting back his dizziness. Apparation is difficult in this state and he is relieved someone else is guiding them. Once seated in their kitchen, he rubs his brow absently, smiling slowly at the fussy Phoenixes.]

Shhh, sweet ones. [Gellert pets over their heads, reaching for the potion after.] Will you help me drink this?

[Meaning the little Phoenixes need to watch over him as he drinks.]

[The birds twitter and keen in concern, seeming to agree with whatever Gellert wants in their panic. They hover over him as Albus pushes the potion into Gellert's hand, barely pausing as he does so before pulling out his wand.]

Drink that and tell me if anything still feels wrong when you do.

[All the while, he uses his wand to start cleaning up the gore and blood, hoping for a better view of Gellert's skin to see if there are gashes he's missed or marks that went unseen. If he doesn't fix Gellert entirely, he'll never forgive himself.]

[Gellert downs the potion, ignoring any sour after taste. Then he leans back in the chair and closes his eyes, letting his strength return, bit by bit, thanks to Albus's magic and the potion's ingredients. When he opens his eyes again, he gives the birds a small smile.]

Look at those pretty faces. [He then glances up at Albus, looking tired yet relaxed. The desperation in his eyes has ebbed considerably.]

I owe you my life again.

[Albus exhales unsteadily, feeling a small wash of relief as Gellert's face seems to grow less pained and tense. Still, adrenaline rushes through him regardless, and his fear shows on his face as he leans closer, taking Gellert's face in his hands.]

Perhaps. But tell me now if you still feel any pains or marks that I have not yet taken care of.

[The birds chirp in agreement, with the girl hopping onto Albus' shoulder so that she can crane in and get a better look at her other papa.]

[His eyes almost close under the sweet pressure of Albus's hands. He is tempted to nuzzle and kiss and thus distract himself with the pleasures his husband offers. But, thankfully, Albus is more logical than him and Gellert softens, opening his eyes again.]

My back is aching... [He chuckles regardless at the curious birds.] I'll get cleaned up and that should help.

[Gellert pushes himself up out of the chair, stripping off his ruined shirt.]

[Albus' concern doesn't abate, though there is some small relief that Gellert is able to stand and move freely now. When his shirt tumbles off, his eyes are already scanning his skin for anything he may have missed, any bruises or cuts that had hidden from his spells.]

If you get in the bath, I can clean up your back and ease whatever it is that still aches you.

[There are bruises on his back from colliding with...a rock? It's hard to notice injuries of that nature when you are evading a dragon. Gellert drops the shirt into the chair he vacates before pulling Albus into his arms.]

Nothing is going to happen to me.

[He moves to the bathroom and starts filling the tub, undressing while he waits.]

[The embrace does ease him the tiniest bit, though he does not dare return it while he still scans Gellert's body for marks. Still, he exhales, murmuring:]

If anything does, you will lead me to a nervous breakdown.

[He follows Gellert to the bathroom and notices the bruises, grimacing slightly at the deepness of him. While the tub fills, he casts another enchantment, helping them to ease and lighten.]

Please tell me you have not angered any other creatures in this place.

[He pauses in his steps and turns to face Albus, reaching for his hands. He entwines their fingers and shakes his head.]

Love, you are too strong to be broken by my foolishness.

[After kissing Albus's knuckles, he slips into the bathroom and undresses. When he feels the spells going to work on his bruising, he smiles.]

No, not yet. [He teases and looks over Albus expectantly.] You are joining me, aren't you?

[Albus lets out a dry, pained laugh at that. Even if Gellert's reassurances do ease him a tiny bit, he is still a bundle of nerves, his eyes darting over Gellert's body to make sure there is nothing he has missed.]

I am not done checking you over for gashes, and you wish me to strip naked instead. You truly are incorrigible beyond all telling.

[He is forced to cup Albus's face between his hands, forcing him, gently but firmly, to look him in the eye.]

I wish for you to strip naked so you can enjoy the relaxing bath with me. I can see to you too that way.

[Albus gives him a tiny bit of a look at that, knowing full well what Gellert's priorities were even after being injured. Still, with a sigh, he obeys, quietly removing his clothes until he is just as bare as Gellert. He lowers himself into the tub only a moment later, but his wand is left on the tub rim, where he can grab it to heal any injury he may not yet have spotted.]

Better now?

[Placing his hands on his hips, he arches a brow and waits. Only when Albus is in the tub does he join him, slipping into the water in front of him. He glances over his shoulder and purses his lips.]

Don't make it sound like I've won some terrible bet or something.

[Albus arches an eyebrow even as his arms wrap around Gellert, holding him close so that his back settles against Albus' chest.]

You say that as though I am not terrified I have missed some horrible gash on you somewhere, love.

[His skin tingles and he relaxes into the hold, his fatigue getting the better of him.]

Wouldn't the water be turning red if that were the case?

[Gellert lifts one of Albus's hands and kisses his fingertips.]

I'm okay.

Only if it had not begun to scab.

[He sighs slightly at the kiss, easing slightly even while tension remains clearly wired into his body. Albus wraps his other arm more tightly around Gellert then, reassuring himself of his presence.]

You cannot anger any more creatures here. I will drop dead of a heart attack if you make more anxious for your safety.

[Which is an exaggeration, but it will get the point across.]

You are going to give yourself ulcers with all that worrying.

[He can sense the tension and he continues to kiss down to Albus's palm and the inside of his wrist.]

Shhh I promise I won't. I was trying to find us a way home, but that clearly is out of my hands.

[Gellert turns slightly and presses their lips together.]

Thank you.

You're right, I will. Ulcers and headaches and all sorts of pains.

[So don't give him reason to worry, is the unspoken sentiment.

Still, he accepts each touch and unwinds a little more with each one, until he returns Gellert's kiss with a soft sigh.]

Good. You do not know how much I would mourn anything happening to you.

No, no, that won't do. I much prefer you feeling very, very good.

[Gellert purposefully nestles against Albus, trying to appeal to him with soft touches and sweet smiles.]

Life cannot be stopped, but I will be careful.

[He kisses along Albus's jawline, turning to face him so he can embrace him.]

[In spite of the caustic sound in his words, he accepts the embrace and returns it, his arms settling loosely around Gellert's back. While the water sluices around them, he sighs and tilts his face to accept Gellert's kisses.]

You speak of this so casually, but if I were the one injured, you would be a terror.

Albus... [He can find a comfortable position in the other's arms without any effort whatsoever. It's hard for him to fear anything or anyone when they are like this. His kisses pause and he frowns, a golden curl falling into his eyes.]

Because you are more important than I am.

Don't you dare say that to me.

[The words may seem harsh, but there is such a well of sadness in Albus' eyes when he says them. He takes Gellert's left hand in his, their rings shining with the bath water slicking the metal, and he holds them up to Gellert's eyeline.]

You are my husband. If you value me, then value the fact that I love you and fear harm coming to you. Anytime you are hurt or in danger, I am petrified.

[He flinches faintly, glancing at their hands, unable to look away from how their rings shine. The magic that created them communicates and harmonizes just as they do. Gellert is paler at the words, though a part of him needed to hear them.]

I don't mean to frighten you. [But he sees how his rash actions would cause such a reaction. Frowning, he slips their fingers together and gazes into Albus's eyes. Even with the sadness he sees there, they are more beautiful than any ring or jewel could hope to be.] I value you more than anything or anyone.

I know you do. But you must know that you are the same for me.

[Squeezing Gellert's hand fiercely in his, he looks Gellert right in the eye, insisting on his words with the way he looks.]

If something happened to you and I was not able to help you, my heart would shatter, Gellert.

[His cheeks gain a flush of color, but he doesn't look away from Albus's intent gaze.]

I will make sure you are never put in that position. [He adds, quietly:] I've never had someone who looked at me like you do.
