It's been a few days since Mikasa and Eren found their way to Nova City. The tall buildings made it a little easier to get used to being here. The different places within the different walls had always had tall buildings for the sole purpose of getting around with their 3D Maneuvering Gear. Hunting titans on flat ground was possible, but it was a disadvantage for them.

Of course with no titans here, there wasn't much use for her 3D Maneuvering Gear. Although she was curious about this city and world they were now stuck up for an unknown time. So Mikasa was wandering around by the use of her gear to explore and do some reconnaissance. You might see her zooming around or standing on certain roof tops.

SUDDENLY, ADORABLE FLYING TENTACLE MONSTER!

It wasn't often Koishi ran into another person that could fly. Most people in Genessia seemed to have their feet firmly planted on the ground. There wasn't anything wrong with that. It was just the way it was considering most people here were human or close to. This is why it caught the little youkai completely off guard when she noticed a human sailing through the air right past her, the disrupted air knocking her hat off. She tumbled forward in the air, managing to catch the hat and place it back on her head as she stared after the person. They weren't flying... They were swinging.

She took after Mikasa, having to fly fairly quickly to keep up with her. It was clear the human hadn't seen her before due to her obfuscating powers, but anyone who flew through the air like this no doubt had to have keen observational skills. Maybe she would be noticed!

Koishi at least had enough sense not to try and get Mikasa's attention when she was flying through the air. She instead waited for the human to land on a building before floating in front of her, waving. "Hello! Miss? Hellooo!" She waved her arms a little bit. "Miss? Can you see me? Hey!"

The sight of the girl wizzing through the air using that device stood out among the other things in the city, so it was fairly easy to spot her. It was a pretty interesting sight. He couldn't recall ever seeing a thing quite like that before. He waited until he saw her land upon a rooftop before teleporting himself to the very same rooftop, appearing a couple of feet behind her.

"Interesting little toy you were playing with before."

[Luke had been busy working on his map when he caught the whizzing of wires through the air. The blurry figure moved so fast he could hardly make it out, but that didn't stop Luke from giving chase.

When Mikasa came to a stop, Luke did as well, staring up at the rooftop in awe, his mouth hanging open.]

Mikasa had noticed her among others while passing them, but she had a fair idea of where people were. She had to if she was using her gear. Once she had set down on a building, she looked to the girl.

"Oh, hello," she said, a little surprised to see someone up here with her. And then she realized she was floating. That wasn't something she'd seen before, but she had to remind herself that people were from different worlds here.

Mikasa had noticed other people around, naturally, but she hadn't been paying attention to them. She had been making sure that she wasn't going to run into somebody/something, while maneuvering around with her gear. Once she landed, she was a little startled by the voice.

Turning to the voice, "It's hardly a toy."

[Stopping to take a look around, she happened to notice Luke below.]

Oh. Luke.

[Such a conversationalist. She made her way down the roof to return tot he ground.]

"Then what would you call it?" He asked as he examined it from where he was standing. He didn't want to come closer and make the girl uncomfortable. Well, any more uncomfortable than him suddenly appearing behind her might have amde her.

"It's my 3D Maneuvering Gear. It was used to tactically fight and kill titans back at home. Of course, with no titans here, it's not quite as useful. I'm sure I'll find other uses for it here, though," she explained.

If he looks, he might see the different straps and belts that work with the 3DM gear.

"Sounds like somethin' right outta a video game." The 3D gear thing that is.

"Guessin' the things you fight back home aren't called titans because they are tiny." The way she was working the thing through the buildings made it look so easy, but he didn't think it was actually so easy to use.

"Could keep using it as a fancy way to travel like you just were. Less you plan on buying a car."

"Far from tiny. They range between 3-15 meters tall generally, so fighting on a flat surface is do-able, but much more difficult. That's why we have the 3D Maneuvering Gear for," she explained.

In a world where kids were forced to become adults at a delicate age, there was a lot of things that confused her here.

"I could, but I shouldn't use it more than necessary. I'll have to eventually restock on gas to use it," she said and then a pause, "A video game? A car? I'm sorry... I'm not sure what you mean by those."

“Big blokes, then. I can see why you might need something like that to fight them.” Her not knowing what a video game was a little bit surprising. Not knowing what cars were were pretty surprising too.

“Strange. Cars are machines on four wheels that people use as transportation. They actually run on gas, though purely electric cars do exist.” He didn’t know if the gas they ran on was the same as the gas that she used for that 3DM thing.

“Video games, though. Those can be a bit harder to explain and they vary in type. There should be an Arcade around one of these cities loaded with them, though.”

Hearing his explanation on cars didn't seem familiar, but carriages came to mind. Not that she'd ever really rode in one besides maybe going to Wall Sina...

"We don't have anything like cars back at home, but some people use carriages to get to place to place," she said.

"An Arcade?" yeah, she's had no childhood basically. "What would the general idea of a video game be then?"

"Cars are pretty much like carriages, except they run on engines and gas. And they go really really fast." He knew there were some cars around here somewhere. She might eventually spot one.

"Give me a second. It might be easier to show you." He takes a moment and looks out over the city like he is trying to search for something. He eventually finds what he is looking for, then he looks back to her.

"Alright. You going to attack me if I come closer to you?"

"I see... That's an interesting source of energy to use for transportation," she said, thinking about it. If they could use gas for their gear, it didn't seem odd to develop it for these "cars" too.

"No, you can come closer," she said to him as she sheathed her blades in the scabbard, leaving the actual operating device still in hand.

David moved closer to her, close enough that they were only a a foot or so apart. Then they are both suddenly enveloped by a blue field of energy and transported into an Arcade in the city. He saw that the city had a Museum that housed things like planes, trains and automobiles, so it seemed likely to him that they would have an Arcade there too.

Some people just liked vintage things. The sounds of the various arcade cabinets filled the air with games of varying genres. "These are video games."

There were a number of things that Mikasa thought of once that happened. How the hell did they just randomly appear in a completely different area like that that quickly? What kind of powers did he possess? Just where were they? What just happened? Mikasa was generally cool headed, but she had a moment of awe strike her; though it was not really displayed more than just surprised glances.

Looking around this "arcade", she looked at all of the different things. Each of the machines had colorful displays and on the screens different things were going on. She hadn't seen anything like it before. Clearly they brought joy, fun, and also frustration from what she gathered from the others playing the games. All she could do for the moment was cock her head the the side as she tried to make sense of all of this.

Living in walls all her life, constantly fearing titans breaking into the walls did a lot to stunt her outside world knowledge. She hadn't been as adamant as Armin or Eren was to see the outside world, but it had always made her curious at least. Did the outside world have things like this? No, it couldn't have. Because the outside world was a haven for all things titan and such life wouldn't exist out there.

"How...?" was the only thing that finally came out of her mouth. Still realizing she was holding the operating devices, she stored them underneath her brown Survey Corp jacket in the holsters.

David knew it was sudden and he possibly could have given her more of a warning before he did that. If she seemed like she was going to get overwhelmed, he could just transport them both back to where they had been. Looking at the games, he didn’t know a lot of them. But they all looked pretty straightforward. From the fighting game, to the shooting games, it wouldn’t take him long to get the hang of any of them if he decided to play them.

He turned his gaze back over to the girl who looked about as awestruck as he could have expected. Though he was unsure if she had that look about her because of all the games or because of them just being transported here in the blink of an eye.

“How what?” She was definitely going to need to be specific about what she was questioning.

You know... It was sort of everything put into one. Being teleported wasn't a normal thing and neither were any of these games. Everything was so new to her. Coming to Nova City because of the buildings and what not made her feel more like she was back at her world rather, but it would take her a while to really get adjusted to everything here.

"How did you do that? How did we get here?" she started out with. There were so many things that could apply to her original question, but starting out simple here.

"You noticed me! I knew you would!" She seemed elated for some reason. "Most people can't see me because their brains don't realize I exist. But observant people can see me sometimes. I'm glad you can." The girl was making very little sense, the sphere drifting lazily to one side, swaying back and forth.

She zipped forward, snatching up Mikasa's hand in her own, shaking it vigorously. "My name is Koishi Komeiji! I'm a satori youkai. It's nice to meet you Miss!"

She let go after a moment, turning in the air to poke at the 3D movement gear. "How do you swing around like that? It looks fun." Kind of a silly thing to think for someone who seemed to be able to fly at will.

And David has no problem with giving her an answer to that question. It was a simple answer and not something he was trying to hide.
“One of my powers.” He says before looking back around the place one. “How do you think I got up onto the roof with you?” He hadn’t been there before and he did just suddenly appear there.

“I’m what people in my world call a Mutant. We’ve all got some kind of power or physical mutation. Some are spectacular, some are less so.”

[Today was the day that Fluttershy was actually flying for once. Intending to reach a cute little birds nest and making sure the family were comfortable. But what she wasn't expecting was suddenly someone to come flying around the corner and towards her.]

Ahhhh! [Fluttershy didn't know what to do and instead continued to flap her wings and just cower, hoping that there wouldn't be such a huge impact at all.]

[Don't worry, Mikasa. Luke can chatter away from ages to fill the space.]

I was looking around the city.

[Mikasa was not much for a conversationalist and she usually dismissed others unless they were Armin or Eren, but there was something about Luke that made her hesitate. He was such a curious kid but he seemed like a nice, polite kid. Nothing like what she was used to back at home. She could at least try to be a little more friendly.]

"Powers...," she repeated to herself. Sure she found it weird that he could appear near her, but back home it wasn't that hard to get on top of rooftops.

"A mutant...?" she asked, although it didn't particularly have a questioning tone to it. Eren becoming a titan was a strange thing and Annie... In a world like this, it wasn't strange to think there might be others like that. "Is it common back in your world?"

"Yeah, it's common enough. Some people with powers are world famous heroes. Some known even throughout the universe." It was a pretty fantastical world that he lives in.

"Not all the people that have powers are good people, mind you." Just like in any world there were bad people that would abuse what power they had while there was good people that would use them for the greater good.
