( souji found himself having more time in his hands than he originally had. ridiculously more free now that he's not a servant. he's never been the main chief of anything: only an assistant teacher, a captain... a follower, owning something overwhelmes him. glad to know he has a kind staff willing to back him on this decision.

here and there, all he wants is to remain distracted from thinking about tomoe, who came to consider a dear friend given her initial distrust of him being from the shinsengumi, and also came to estimate her husband kenshin, a good and very strong talented man with the katana.

at some point during the days, afternoons, evenings or nights, someone might bump into him and his now a little more grown wolf pup, mibu. )

( rhaegar really is dany's brother, sigh. a faint, sad smile takes over his lips. souji will really miss tomoe, albeit doesn't let it overcome him in full grief. he's bushi after all. )

[True to his word, Rhaegar'll be about halfway up the path, a small dragon perched on a shoulder and looking around curiously. The tall man is grinning fondly at the little creature.]

You should start spreading your wings, little one, and not just around Drogon or to impress your sister! Fly!

[He gets a chirp that's almost a whine as little wings take on a rather limp appearance.] That has never fooled me.

( souji is able to see rhaegar from afar... and a little friend on his shoulder, a baby dragon. they don't seem to be hāedar or valonqar, or he could be wrong. he's walking with mibu, the almost three-month-old wolf goes ahead and runs to where rhaegar is. )

Rhaegar-san!

[Indeed Souji is right! The light of the day glints on scales a pale shade of gold and this young dragon is smaller than Hāedar and Valonqar.

Rhaegar nuzzles the little one because he can never stay stern with them for long. The young wolf pup gets his attention though and he smiles, kneeling to offer a hand in greeting.]

Hello handsome one. [Speaking to animals is just second nature to him, and Mibu is no exception!]

Souji. [The greeting to the other man is warm.]

I would like you to meet young Sunrise. You will surely meet his hatch-sister Moonshine later, she is with my sister when not with me.

( mibu begins to sniff on rhaegar's hand to determine his smell, to consequently lick his palm in full confidence. seeing such action as he approaches, souji smiles proudly to see that his little friend starts to behave better. it seems that mibu can understand his sadness and tries not to cause any problems to his daddyowner.

seeing the little sunrise sparks an emotion equal to when he met hāedar and valonqar. )

Are they new babies?~ ♡

[The pup gets a gentle scritch behind ears after the lick of approval, even as the little gold dragon cranes his neck out, curious at the new creature. Rhaegar's clearly used to being used as a climbing post! Even his clothes have plenty of things to hold onto for dragon claws.]

Yes! More and more seem to attach themselves to Daenerys and I.

[He straightens and lifts the arm Sunrise is on towards Souji, smoothing delicate wings down and giving scales a soothing rub.]

Little light, this is a friend of your mother and mine. Say hello.

[Sunrise offers a chirp and small bob of his head, earning a proud smile from Rhaegar.]

( souji can see creatures are drawn to rhaegar. it's not surprising to realize that the prince's aura is calm and kind. mibu stands on his back legs to sniff at sunrise in curiosity before rhaegar stands up straight.

seeing the golden wings he can't help but beam at the baby chirping as a way of introduction towards the bushi, him joining his palms in endearment. )

So cute! You really are as cute as your big bother and big sister~~~
