[It doesn't matter where you live. It doesn't matter if you have a chimney, or an active security alert system. With a twinkle and a jingle, his sleigh soars through the air, landing on the most precarious of rooftops or sloped sheds...anywhere. Those reindeer are freaking magical. He appears in your home with a large sack slung over his shoulder, leaving a very special selection of presents.]

[For those who are awake, and if you left out milk and cookies (even if you didn't originally intend it to be for him), he'll even talk to you. Otherwise, the situation is the same.]

[There are three beautifully wrapped gifts, all the same size. The paper is red, green, or white. Each gift contains something of value, so choose without fear of being punished!]

[UNLESS. If you've been very bad (and if you want this option OOCly), there will be a fourth gift as well, and the color of wrapping paper options extends to red, green, white, and gold.]

[OOC: The item contained in each gift has been predetermined randomly for each character, so while a red present might contain a charm for one person, it could be a treasured item from home for another person. Even for people who want a fourth option for their villains, the gold present isn't necessarily the bad one. Of course, if you just want coal straight up, you can elect to get that without having to worry about choosing randomly.

This event runs from the 22nd through the 28th. In order to participate, your character must have been introduced to the community at some point. So Deadpool doesn't get a present. C_C_ Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!]

[Jaune rolls over in his bed and grumbles out.] I didn't do nothin'...!

[After a brief pause, he opens his eyes and sits up.] Wait, leave what out there? [He emerges not long later in his onsie pajamas and all, looking at the presents left behind.] Oh man, it's like we got visited by Santa! Just like the newspaper said!

[imitationsloth]

Oh really? Cool!

[She reaches down to grab one in green wrapping paper, shaking it just a smidge...not enough to do damage...she hoped.] I just got here, how'd I end up with one?

[Jaune shrugs and grabs the present wrapped for him, and tears into it excitedly.] I dunno, but I'm not complaining!

[He tears open the green wrapped present to find... a charm? Little did he know it was a Fayren charm, but he kind of squinted at the thing.] The heck...? What's this thing?

[imitationsloth]

[Nora squints at the charm too, then shrugs.] No idea. I haven't seen it before.

[She rips into the box she's holding and pulls out a pendant and a knife, making an 'ooooh' sound.] They're pretty!

[Jaune looks at Nora's presents curiously.] A necklace and a knife? That's a weird present.

[imitationsloth]

[She shrugs, adding the pendant to the necklace she was already wearing.]

But, still, a present. They'll probably come in handy at some point.

[short_n_sweet]

Well, sure I suppose. [He shrugs too and eyes his charm again. He's definitely not the kind of guy to wear a charm, so he stuffs it into his pocket.] But hey, at least we get presents. I almost thought that being away from Beacon meant we wouldn't get to enjoy stuff like that any more.

[Nora shrugs, before examining the knife for a second, trying to figure out where she can carry it around.]

Maybe this place is more like Beacon than we think...Although the lack of Grimm is kinda nice. [A pause.] I wonder what other holidays this place has...

Oh, yeah, there're no Grimm, but there're totally other things. Y'know I got attacked by zombies once, right? And there're monsters all around Everglade and who knows what else in the other cities?

[He pauses a moment and rests his hand on his stomach.] ... I'm hungry. You hungry? I'll make us pancakes. Consider it a Christmas gift.

[imitationsloth]

You were attacked by WHAT?! [Zombies...ewww. She doesn't want to think about that.] Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for those then. Don't know what Magnhild can do to them.
