Comin' To Town - [ACTION]

[It doesn't matter where you live. It doesn't matter if you have a chimney, or an active security alert system. With a twinkle and a jingle, his sleigh soars through the air, landing on the most precarious of rooftops or sloped sheds...anywhere. Those reindeer are freaking magical. He appears in your home with a large sack slung over his shoulder, leaving a very special selection of presents.]

[For those who are awake, and if you left out milk and cookies (even if you didn't originally intend it to be for him), he'll even talk to you. Otherwise, the situation is the same.]

[There are three beautifully wrapped gifts, all the same size. The paper is red, green, or white. Each gift contains something of value, so choose without fear of being punished!]

[UNLESS. If you've been very bad (and if you want this option OOCly), there will be a fourth gift as well, and the color of wrapping paper options extends to red, green, white, and gold.]

[OOC: The item contained in each gift has been predetermined randomly for each character, so while a red present might contain a charm for one person, it could be a treasured item from home for another person. Even for people who want a fourth option for their villains, the gold present isn't necessarily the bad one. Of course, if you just want coal straight up, you can elect to get that without having to worry about choosing randomly.

This event runs from the 22nd through the 28th. In order to participate, your character must have been introduced to the community at some point. So Deadpool doesn't get a present. C_C_ Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!]

Congratulations, dear Santa. Betelgeuse was honestly flabbergasted, a rarity. He gaped for a second, before standing up.

"Hi. How are ya?" he offered, deciding to mind his manners...for now. "A present, huh? Thank you."

Betelgeuse was both amused and amazed. Most people tended to see him as "naughty." Unfair, in his opinion, but true.

"You're very welcome, young man!" For Santa to be calling Betelgeuse old, well...that's something. He took out a collection of beautifully wrapped gifts and held them out.

"You only get to choose one, so choose carefully, hmmm? Ho ho ho!"

Betelgeuse stared hard at the gifts, trying to decide which one and wrestling with his greed, which insisted he have all of them! Finally, he pointed at the red gift.

"Ah, that one...please," he added hastily, determined to not ruin this, though grabbing Santa's sack seemed an obvious thing to do.

"Ho ho! Red is it?" He tugged down the scarlet coat indicatively. "Always a good choice. Go ahead and open it up!"

The other two presents disappeared back into the sack, which never seemed to inflate or deflate.

As for the present itself, it began to unfold to impossible size, layers of plastic and styrofoam overlapping until it became very clear just what it was: the model of the town in which Betelgeuse had made his home, up in the attic of the old house.

Betelgeuse grinned. He loved it and not just because he was wondering if St. Nick had nicked the original from Adam Maitland! Okay, Betelgeuse was going to have to get a permanent house to put this in, but that was okay. A few exorcist gigs would help with that.

"Aw, thanks, Santa!" Betelgeuse said. "I missed this place!"

He had too. Adam had done a great job, even Betelgeuse would admit that, and the cemetery was pretty cozy.
