Comin' To Town - [ACTION]
[It doesn't matter where you live. It doesn't matter if you have a chimney, or an active security alert system. With a twinkle and a jingle, his sleigh soars through the air, landing on the most precarious of rooftops or sloped sheds...anywhere. Those reindeer are freaking magical. He appears in your home with a large sack slung over his shoulder, leaving a very special selection of presents.]
[For those who are awake, and if you left out milk and cookies (even if you didn't originally intend it to be for him), he'll even talk to you. Otherwise, the situation is the same.]
[There are three beautifully wrapped gifts, all the same size. The paper is red, green, or white. Each gift contains something of value, so choose without fear of being punished!]
[UNLESS. If you've been very bad (and if you want this option OOCly), there will be a fourth gift as well, and the color of wrapping paper options extends to red, green, white, and gold.]
[OOC: The item contained in each gift has been predetermined randomly for each character, so while a red present might contain a charm for one person, it could be a treasured item from home for another person. Even for people who want a fourth option for their villains, the gold present isn't necessarily the bad one. Of course, if you just want coal straight up, you can elect to get that without having to worry about choosing randomly.
This event runs from the 22nd through the 28th. In order to participate, your character must have been introduced to the community at some point. So Deadpool doesn't get a present. C_C_ Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays!]

Which is a bad thing, because she has never needed to sleep before.
But maybe Santa's appearance can cheer her up a little, not least because she can actually talk to him, none of the uncertainties with the other residents who live in the city about whether he qualifies as from another plane of existence or not. She's going to be curious when she hears bells and when he lands, she'll be amused enough to laugh. She turns to greet him with a grin from where she was petting a unicorn on the nose - she might be taken with this creature more than most of the other strange ones here.]
You are certainly an unexpected visitor to these lands. [For Her, at least. Not least because this city keeps surprising her with things only considered imaginary from her world. Everything seems to back up her theory (Theory. Omnipotence is something she misses almost as much as Home) that this world is one different to her own.] I suppose an angel would be too much to expect from that sack of yours. [She's joking. Mostly.]

[They can share a handshake, just as they share the holiday. Some might even consider this to be a birthday for either one of them, depending on what religion one subscribes to.]
Would that I could! You'll just have to recruit your own, won't you? Ho ho!
[He winks, and sets down his sack.]
Would you like a present?

The response gets a huge sigh, but she nods when she's done.] I'm going to have to do something.
[But at the mention of gifts and him setting the sack down, she perks like.... well, rather like a child on Christmas. That grin is back, too.] I get one? [Ooh! This is a pretty new thing for her, anyway. It feels weird not to be giving, too. She's going to have to do something, but hasn't had time to prepare anything just yet. She'll think of something. BACK TO SANTA.] Then yes, please.

You get to choose which one you want. Go ahead, pick a color! Ho ho!

probably in the middle of summer, knowing herand you'll like it.This is not a thing to be taken lightly! She's quiet as she ponders seriously, even as excitement is coming off of her almost literally in waves, before she takes the green one with care. Don't want to break anything that might be inside!
She starts pulling at the paper carefully even as she asks-] Can you not even stay a little while? I kind of miss proper conversation. [Meaning one that does not have to be whacked out on the comm. She'd almost like to try this with some of the others here - especially as some are clearly not human, but.... we'd like to avoid accidents. She's not even sure how it would work being almost cut off from Heaven, and all.
She might not have realised how much she actually misses it until she's now having it.]

[But he hugs her nonetheless, before standing back with a friendly pat to her shoulder.]
If I finish my rounds early, then I'll come back and we can bring in the dawn together.
[Before he fades until the next year. Once his job is done, that's the end of that. He allows her to take the green present and unwrap it. Inside is a surprisingly large gift basket with all kinds of assorted goodies. There are new clothes of different eras that she'd like, fruits, chocolate, preserved flowers, candles, soaps... She HAS been VERY good this year, after all.]

[She can't deny that it would be nice.
But she grins at him and comments teasingly] You missed the wardrobe for me to hang them in~ I don't think the tree branches will be quite so kind to the clothes.
[Don't worry, she's getting on that as soon as there's a store open after the day. they're far too lovely for them to be ruined.]

[There's a playful twinkle in his eye as he gestures to one of the trees, which seems to have acquired a new door. How mysterious! Inside is improbably space to put her things, including a shoe rack that she'll probably never use. But she can put other stuff on there.]
