So, funny story. I totally forgot I had this thing. I'm actually heading back to the guild now, but... what's been going on? Been kind of out of touch.

I've worked with partners before when I go on jobs back home, but, nobody's ever really been too eager to go on the jobs I take. Can't blame 'em really. I come up against a bunch of nasty monsters.

Mavis said that he 'brainwashed' one of your guild's allies. Magic that can do such is not unheard of, but it is no less a concern.

I wouldn't mind going on a job with you to see what it's like but... I'm not sure how much Lucy told you about me. There is one rather odd limiting factor.

I've kind of been out of touch for a while, so Lucy hasn't really had a chance to mention much. What limiting factor could that be?

I'm older than you by more than a few centuries, but I've never been under direct sunlight. I don't know what kind of effects may occur.... So if you want to try a job out with me you should plan to do so between sunset and sunrise.

[Gildarts is completely unphased by this. After all, once you've been a dragon's chew toy, you don't really have many hang ups about peculiar circumstances. There are bigger things to worry about.]

Oho~! A night owl, hmm? I can handle that. After all, it's been quite some time since I've been able to take a nice stroll under the stars with a lovely lady~

I wouldn't really say over twelve centuries of dusk til dawn as being a 'night owl', Gildarts. If you think of this as a stroll under the stars you will be throwing away the chance at impressing a very powerful person who is considering membership with your guild.

[There is a very slight pause.]

If you wish to spend some leisure time with me, you should just make a request and I'll consider it.

I'll be perfectly honest... I may have the biggest energy pool in the guild, but I'm hardly the most impressive. That said, I'm sure you'd fit right in. We don't really care about a person's circumstances so long as they don't start attacking guildmates.
