[The feed opens with a face that hasn't been seen in all of Genessia for almost two months now. Behind him was what appeared to be an old run down castle - it has seen better days. No one can possibly live in such a hazardous place. Except, it looks like it was being repaired and the repairs were nearing completion.

For those who frequent Everglade, they'd notice this house was near the rickety bridge. It was on the opposite side of the city itself.]

To all those concerned, I would like to know if the recent affair pertaining to nightmares has been addressed in Everglade. It seems like the old town in the outskirts of the city is no longer affected. If not, I will offer any assistance necessary.

Due to certain events, I have been absent from my post in Genessia's hospital. If there is anything that needs to be addressed, do well to approach me.

[Private to Lex Luthor]

[He then switches the feed to private and checks on the pile of folders resting beside him. On one folder was a sticky note that had someone's contact details. Inside was a number of approved contracts prior to his absence.]

The head of the Critical Care Department, Temari, informed me that you wished to speak with me. State your business.

I would hope the apartment is still in one piece after my lengthy absence. [He's not even going to apologize about it.]

Since there are four of us now, it would seem appropriate to find a larger estate. I took the liberty of finding one. Cross the covered bridge of Everglade and you should be able to find it. Just ask for me.

We also have a few people here who would be glad to serve our every need. The share of each one for rent still remains the same. So if any of you still have a problem with employment, please inform me immediately.

[His features soften minutely as he turns the feed to address Ishtar. The last thing he remembered was drinking Ishtar's blood. Until this day, it still haunts him.]

Nightmares?

[Duzell made it a point to look at the communication device from time to time. He was never the vocal type, so he never thought it was necessary for him to contact every single one. But he did remember this guy was the one searching for sailor moon. It shouldn't have been a problem for him to find her. Duzell remembered all three of them. One of which died during the darkness incident.]

Yes. Sometime last July there were cases of people suffering from nightmares. I was working at the evening shift of Genessia hospital and heard of such cases.

Unfortunately due to a limited number of cases, there was no reason for us to make note of it. We simply gave the patients sleeping pills which hopefully limited their state of dreaming. Weeks passed, and patient cases increased. I was going to search for the root cause of it, but unfortunately something happened during the first few weeks of August and I was no longer able to follow it up.

How long did the people affected remain in these induced states of dreaming?

[ such a thing unnerved him, given their most recent struggle with the dead moon circus. the amazoness quartet may have been freed and queen nehelenia and her minions dealt with, but there was still the possibility that some remnants of those foes existed here — especially with what he'd learned so far about the nature of genessia. ]

What sort of employment are you implying Duzie?

[ Ishtar's expression is rather grim as she looked at him through the screen. By the way he was saying things, it didn't sound like it was typical employment. She could tell that from Duzie pretty easily. ]

Where do you want to meet and if you're referring to what happened when everyone decided to flip switches a couple weeks ago, then don't sweat it. It's not the first time this has happened, though-- other things did.

Duzie... where the hell have you been?

[ There's a clearly concerned tone in her voice as she inquired. ]

Not for you, you already have a job in Genessia hospital. There are lots of vacancies in Everglade city itself. For example, the university alone is looking for teachers, school nurse and admin assistants. I figured, Falan and the red-head can take those positions. They pay considerably well too.

[Though, he has a number of other alternatives. Specially now that there was a growing population under his care.]

Meet me at the covered bridge in Everglade. We can speak then.

[ She replied shrugging a little. It sure seemed like he was implying something else but this was Ishtar. She assumed t hings here and there. ]

...Yeah I'll see you there then.

[ She didn't say anything else and hung up. ]

Moments later, the coordinates were easily found and Ishtar was standing under the bridge staring at the sky as she waited for the vampire king. This was going to be rathe awkward to be honest.

Instead of being in his vampire form, Duzell was pawing on the ground whilst in his kyawl form. He was just there, walking around and waiting for Ishtar. He wasn't quite so keen to appear in his form where Ishtar can demand a multitude of responses from him.

When he saw Ishtar, he flopped on the ground beneath her, and demanded to be carried by the princess.

That's not fair. She needed him to talk and not meow at her all day long. Ishtar furrowed her brows when she caught sight of her cat on the ground. She looked down to him as she knelt to his eye level.

"Duzell, what's the meaning of this?" she mused tilting her head.

It's called avoiding the subject.

Duzell furrowed his brows as well. Why wasn't he being carried. He wanted to be carried. He simply hissed at her and flopped on the floor. What was he going to tell her anyway?

'I'm sorry I almost raped you?'

That was the worse conversation starter ever. So he just waited there for her to pick him up.

Duzell, you can be frustrating sometimes. Ishtar still furrowed her brows at him as he stared at her. Hey, he wasn't expecting her to just let it go just like that, right?

Ishtar poked his nose, "Hey, don't throw a tantrum at me, Duzie," she mused frowning.

Talk. That's all, Duzie, that's all.

Ah, you must be the hospital director. Yes, Ms. Temari showed some interest in acquiring more advanced medical technology for the hospital, beyond what Lexcorp has already provided for reconstruction.

I believe the technology being discussed included cybernetics, robotic and microscopic surgery equipment, gene therapy, and tissue and organ cloning, for starters. Full specifications are available to peruse at your leisure. I'm sure you'll find the prices quite reasonable.

I am. [He doesn't quite acknowledge the last part. He's not really the type of person who makes an effort to converse with humans. So his social skills were close to nil.]

So you're aiming to earn from hospital through these equipment. For someone who already has these equipment, why bother providing it to a hospital, when you yourself can put up a satellite office in which patients could be examined on?

You're suggesting I build and staff a whole new hospital?

I'm flattered by your estimation of Lexcorp's capabilities, but it's a technology company, not a healthcare provider. I believe Genessia's hospital can benefit from Lexcorp innovations, as have those on my home world.

I am happy to report that the numbers of people suffering from nightmares is... pretty much back to the normal amount. At least they don't complain about having them daily now.

[Yuuki appears on the feed, she knew she felt a lot better than during that time. She was at least catching up on her sleep finally.]

I think whatever was causing the increased numbers might have gone suddenly because I've found after a certain day they stopped and I was fine again.

[Did you miss this obnoxious face? Zelos gave a friendly chuckle.]

Aw, you're too nice~ So...what've you got set up for us?

Wait...This means I'm not going to be able to flirt with the lovely Ishtar as much anymore, doesn't it? That sucks!

Zelos, you really need to stop poking his switches.

[ She really can't protect him completely from an enraged vampire king okay? She's worried about him, considering what she had experienced before when he was turned into a child. ]

[That took him by surprise. Zelos gave a nervous chuckle, fidgeting a bit at the other end of the feed.]

Aw, come on, I was just joking around a little, that's all!

[Since said "child incident", Zelos had felt a little awkward around Ishtar. Partly because he hated having his true feelings seen like that, and partly because... Ishtar was almost maternal towards him. It was the sort of affection he'd craved all his childhood.]

No, no. It's fine. It's not like I'll skewer his insides the moment he falls asleep, right?

[A cold glance towards the both of them.]

I suggest heading to the coordinates I've sent you, so we can talk in a more secure manner.

[ Ishtar chuckled a little at his nervous laughing. She's still worried because he was such a fragile boy when she met him last time. ]

Well, if he tries to hurt you, then it won't be a joke anymore right?

[ Because Duzell had a knack for these things to be honest. Ishtar didn't want to have to deal with her roommates and friends being at each other's necks. ]

Alright, alright! You don't have to beat me up, I like my insides where they are!

[Zelos held his arms up, putting on his best whiny voice. Because that would clearly help his case out here.]

Sure...I'll see you there I guess? 'Cides, I'm kinda curious what sorta place you've got in mind.
