[If you're somewhere near The Bay, you might notice that strangle path of what looks like to be rose petals. Following whoever left them intentionally (or unintentionally) won't be hard, considering there's a fair amount of them. Somewhere down the road, you might see a soaked girl walking... Or rather sort of limping her way. Dressed in what looks like to be formal wear and black heels, she doesn't seem to be too strange... Except for the fact that she's carrying a giant scythe as she's walking.]

Hello?! Is anybody there? I read that there's no way out, but there has to be a way. My friends need me back home and--

Ouch!

[She's tripped and lost her balance in her heels... for the 3rd time.]

Damn it! How Weiss fight in these things?! I want my hood back! At least give me my hood back!

[After taking her heels off finally, she got up and continued on.]

[ You know what's right near the bay? The pizzeria Weiss was recently promoted to manager at. Which is probably why she's walking out with a binder in her arms just as Ruby walks by. ]

Ruby?

[ Weiss looks like she wants to comment about her taking the heels off but Ruby being here is more important than lecturing about heels (yet). ]

This is the best hug icon you're going to get. XD

[Missing Weiss shouldn't have been a thing if she hadn't been thinking about a lot of things, but once she heard her voice, she turned around in an instant.]

Weiss?! Oh thank god! Somebody I know is here!

[Sorry Weiss, she's just so happy to see you right now. So you'll have to deal with her wrapping her arms around you and hugging you.]

[ She's holding a binder she can't even defend herself from the hug. Weiss will just wait it out, rolling her eyes. ]

Ruby, did you come from the dance?

[ She doesn't actually remember the dance, but she's had enough people mention it to her that she can't figure any reason Ruby would be dressed up like that. ]

Blake, Yang, Sun, Neptune, and Professor Ozpin are all here too, you know.

[ And a few others she doesn't know about yet and one who is White Fang. ]

[After the hug she nodded to her.]

Yeah! I was going to go outside for a little while when I saw a suspicious figure, so I went to check on them.

Everyone else is here too?

[Well, if Ozpin is here, then things must not be as bad?]

But... the last I saw you guys were at the dance and dancing with people. [Besides you and Neptune anyways.]

The last thing Sun and I remember is going home after the situation at the docks, but we've been here longer than a few other people. I think Yang just remembered more. I don't know how much the headmaster knows. Blake remembers up through the dance, and I don't know how much Neptune remembers, but he also mentioned the dance right before I.. broke up with him. I don't actually remember meeting him, but it's complicated.

[ She's absolutely certain Ruby's going to get confused by that, so she adds- ]

Basically, people can arrive here from any time so just because someone shows up doesn't mean they have the same memories you do.

[ Now that Ruby's dislodged from her, Weiss starts heading down the street. She'll just lead Ruby to their apartment, that's fine. ]

[It's a good thing she did add that because damn, is she confused.... She still is... Following her as she lead her.]

Woah! Woah! Wait a minute!

You broke up with Neptune? I didn't realize you guys were even really "dating" in the first place.

[Priorities, Ruby... At least she's dismissed the fact that they'd been here from different times because of the clarification.]

Apparently I asked him to the dance, which is completely believable, [ she couldn't deny that he was attractive even now ] was rejected, then Jaune of all people talked him into getting over his own embarrassment at not being able to dance and coming to be with me. As I said, I don't remember any of this, but he agreed to just be friends so it's all fine as long as Zuko doesn't try to burn him to a crisp if I look at him.

Oh well... I knew that you asked him to the dance but... I guess I never thought of that as "dating".

[A pause.]

Wait. Zuko. Who's that?

[Sun happens to be taking a stroll in the area at apparently the right time. The voice complaining about the shoes caught his ear and he looked in the direction of The Bay. Was that...he would know that giant scythe anywhere!]

Ruby! [Sun calls out.]

[Ruby was continuing to walk on, wondering if it was better to have her heels on or off at this point when she heard her name being called out. Turning around, she noticed a familiar face.

Sun! Sun was here too! She hurried over to him, ignoring the fact that running without shoes on hurt too.]

Sun! You're here too?

[whiteas]

I don't know. I literally just told him no because I am dating someone now. Which is who Zuko is: My boyfriend.

[ Something she seems to sound very proud saying. Zuko is her boyfriend and she will tell that to just about anyone. ]

That was enough to make her stop in her tracks (which kinda hurt without shoes on).]

No. Way!

You have a boyfriend?!

That.... That's.... [Give her a moment.] That's so great!

Oh my god!

I have to meet him. You have to tell me all about him! How'd you guys meet? Is he nice?!

Oh my god, Weiss! This is great!

[ This was a reaction she was not expecting, mostly because Blake and Yang didn't even ask her that much about him. ]

Zuko is the prince of the Fire Nation, current Deputy City Guardian. He can control fire, before you ask what his weapon is. [ She figures that's important to Ruby ] He's really handsome, even with his scar. He really loves tea and spicy food. He's a prideful person and he does have some anger problems, but he's working on them and he really tries his hardest at everything. He's really warm- literally and figuratively. The literal part comes with the firebending. And romantic, even if he can also be completely infuriating sometimes. [ Mostly when he breathes fire at her dog or turns out to be a masked vigilante. But she actually can't tell Ruby that second part even if she wants to. Like really really wants to, but she promised. ] He learns from his mistakes and knows how to tell and do what's right, too, which I think is very impressive, and he's clever. I don't know if I'd really call him nice, but he tries to be.

[ Honestly she could go on about him. But she also has to answer how they met so she stops. ]

We just met when he arrived here and didn't know what a video is because he comes from a world that doesn't quite have.. well, electricity.

[Just hearing her talk about him, she can tell he's important to her. Which makes sense.]

Oh! A prince~ That seems fitting enough.

[It's not that important, Weiss... Yes it is...]

Wow, that sounds great. I'm happy you found somebody, Weiss.

Me too, even if it can be.. complicated sometimes.

[ Oh well. Weiss figures she should mention some of the other things Ruby missed. ]

Blake and Sun went on a date, too. Also we all went on a misguided rescue mission to save someone from the king of hell to help a member of the White Fang save a human girl he likes. I also have a dog.

What?! Blake and Sun went on a date?! Why do I miss all the good things?

[She's happy to hear that too. The next thing she said made Ruby to be a little more serious.]

Was she okay? The girl? What happened?

[And then you mention having a dog. She clearly loves dogs so that alone was enough to make her break back into a goofy grin... Well... Until she reminds herself that the other thing is more important right now. The dog can wait.]

[Yang's face appears on the video screen only briefly. Then she's gone. Is there a problem with the feed? And what's that rapid pounding sound?]

[Prepare to get hugged Ruby. YANG IS COMING FOR YOOOOOOOUUUUUU]

[ How do you think she got a puppy without argument? Blake was decidedly not there. ]

She's alive, we found her, and apparently she wasn't actually being held captive, Adam just had the wrong information. Which is understandable, considering the person who made him think that is the same person who nearly destroyed Genessia over the summer.

That's good to hear.

Wait. This guy tried to destroy this place? Is everything okay here?

[Because she has to ask. She can't help but think that Torchwick might be here too, but she's sure Weiss would have mentioned him if he were.]

[Ruby has been trying to figure out more about this place and the device they've been given, but it doesn't take long for her to realize who just yelled out to her.

Where'd she go? Yang was here too? Which obviously meant that she was going to get hugged. And without having much time to really look around or react, suddenly Crescent Rose flew out of her hand and landed a little behind her; At least Yang wasn't hit in the process.

It was probably a good thing that her heels were now off, because she would have knocked her off her feet; not that she didn't almost do it even without them on, though.]

And here I thought my semblence was speed.

It's safer than Vale most of the time.

[ She definitely would have. ]

I'll give you a list of people to watch out for once we're at our apartment.

[ Which they almost are- it isn't that bad of a walk. ]

['Our apartment'. It wasn't anything amazing, but just the sound of it made coming to a strange new world comforting. They'd lived together at home, so it was only natural.]

Is there a way to get my hood back...? I... want to change out of this...

You can borrow my black dress if Blake hasn't laid claim to it already, but I think if you want to get items from our world you have to collect charms to wish for them.

[ It might be crowded with four people in there, but it was still more spacious than their dormitory, honestly. For one thing, they all had their own rooms. ]
