[Sun starts the video feed up and he can be seen in the Fayren forest. He’s in a tree surprise surprise and he’s got a crossbow propped up on a branch. It’s loaded with a large tranquilizer dart, because whatever he is hunting he obviously doesn’t want to kill.]

Three hours. I’ve been out here for three hours and the thing that I’m hunting hasn’t shown up yet. I should have brought a book or something. And if you know me, the fact that I said that should probably tell you how bored I am.

[A pause.]

Actually, that’s not true. All books aren’t boring. I actually read this one book that I bought in a sub-archway. After I heard about it, I had to check it out. There is this guy in it, one of the names he goes by is the Monkey King. He’s strong, fast, can transform into animals and objects. He’s a really skilled warrior.

And like I said before, he goes by the name the Monkey King, but his real name? Sun Wukong. The dude actually uses a staff too. You get bonus points if you can guess what his staff is called.

I’m feeling a mix of “this is weird” and “this is cool”. And yes Blake, you can borrow the book.

[ Sun shouldn't get a cool book about a guy who shares his name if she doesn't. Not that she's gone looking.. Now she's kind of curious though. If Sun isn't joking, anyway. ]

I'm being competent serious. The guy even has a monkey tail and can make duplicates of himself. [Sun wishes that he was making this up.]

I don't know if it was a coincidence, but I can't say it's a stalker either. Because that would mean that I have a stalker from another world.

Yeah. I'm sure there's something in the library. I'll ask Neptune to keep an eye out when we're doing our search.

Two copies are always better just in case.

I didn't get it from the library, though. I picked it up from Tokyo. [It didn't even occur to him that it could possibly be in the library.]

It is pretty exciting, don't get me wrong. But me and this guy also have quite a bit of similarities, like I pointed out. So, I don't know. It does make me question if I am actually in control of my life or if this is all sort of preplanned and I have never really made a choice of my own.

It sounds like it's just coincidence. You're finding the similarities too close to home but you're you. That character is them.

It wouldn't be anywhere near the range of weird if there weren't so many similarities. I mean, he has a monkey tail and a staff with the same name and same colors as mine.

How would you feel if you found a story from another world about a girl named Blake Belladonna who has many similrties to you? A power like yours, a weapon like yours, even your..bow. [Bow is code for cat ears.]

I have no idea how to explain. I've never encountered anyone that has had something like this happen to them.

It would be strange, make no mistake.

My only other theory would be that we somehow go down in history. This- Tokyo hears stories of your deeds during whatever battle we experience in our life. Stories become legend, legend becomes tales as time progresses.

Or it's a ancestor you're unaware of. There's potentially a large amount of possibilities. ...I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

Huh. That was a possibility I never considered. [He's pondering that for a couple of moments, considering it.] I guess if it is an ancestor then I need to live up to the name. But if it is like, us going down in history, then I've got some big things coming up in the future.

[Now he's just leaning more towards being excited about it than anything else.]

It certainly is a possibility. Things were getting tense for a bit so who knows, maybe your legend will become known.

So... You found a book about someone with your same name? Some civilizations in Hourai believe in reincarnation, but I've also read some books about alternate realities. If you really want to read something about that I know a few books...
