I would think your proclamations might have farther reaching consequences than you might initially think. The public is eager to latch onto things that would paint us in a negative light. In fact, the newspaper that until recently was delivered rather routinely specialized in such things.
I reside in one of the sub-gates in Nova City. It is a large tower, patrolled by large robots. When they approach you and demand identification, simply respond "the devil's left eye" and they will grant you entry.
