Hi everyone, it's Weiss. I'm just giving everyone a heads up that I put in for some days off at work so I can go to the Dream Docks. I'll be back in time for Halloween, but I need someone to watch Frost while I'm gone.

Zuko, I know you were upset about Charizard, do you want to take him? That way I'll still get to see him and since you're Deputy Guardian now, you probably have more space to take care of him openly if you think that's better.

I'm going in a couple of hours and I'll be gone for a week, so does anyone need anything reasonable from me before I leave?

It means I didn't know you had the face muscles or the ability to smile like that. What are you so- [He spots the little crown on top of her head.]

That crown is new..

Of course I do. It's not like this is the first time I've smiled.

[ Weiss reaches up to lightly run her fingers over the surface of the small gold flame on the side of her head. ]

It's Zuko's. He wanted me to wear it so I'd have something of him with me while I'm asleep, since we won't see each other for a week. That's not what I was happy about though.

[ It made her happy, yes, but that wasn't the main thing. ]

You don't do it a lot. Being happy looks nice on you. [Zuko must have had some major skills to make Weiss happy. That or everyone else was just bad at doing it.]

Huh. That's nice of him. [Maybe Sun should have given Blake his necklace for similar reasons.] What were you smiling about then? Or is it a secret?

[whiteas]

It does happen. Everyone in my team has seen me smile.

[ Probably. She's pretty sure. But.. Weiss honestly can't help but smile again, a smaller one this time as she looks to the side and grabs the basket with her things in it and gestures for Sun to come to the door. ]

Zuko said he loves me.

[monkeystowaway]

[He heads over to the door, though he too can't help but smile when she said that.]

He dropped the L word, huh? [Ahh. It felt like only yesterday that Weiss told him she was dating someone and now the guy was saying he loved her.] Did you say it back?

[whiteas]

[ Weiss nods in response to that. ]

Yes. [ Which was the exciting part. She liked Zuko and she'd known that for a while, but she'd never really felt like this before. But more than that was getting into more detail than she wanted to talk about. They were both somewhat private people, after all, even if Weiss couldn't help but talk about some things from time to time.

Besides, there was a big issue that Weiss had. Sun knew way more about her relationship than she did about his. ] Have you and Blake- I mean, how are you two doing? I haven't exactly gotten much news from either of you about it.

[monkeystowaway]

I'm really happy for you, Weiss. [He meant it. Though he felt a little bad feeling like that because of Neptune and all. He hoped things wouldn't be awkward for her when they got back from this little nap.]

We are fine as far as I know. She can be pretty hard to read at times. [He didn't think she was secretly unhappy with him or anything. If she was, then she hid it well.]

Thanks, Sun. [ Weiss really meant that too. She'd been worried Sun would get ticked off at her after she found out about Neptune. There was honestly some hoping on her end that it wasn't more than what Neptune had said it was- the two of them just being attracted but barely knowing each other. She really was happy with Zuko, and had even been completely upfront about Neptune when she'd met him here. The last thing she needed was for Neptune to really mean something to her or for her to really mean something to Neptune. She didn't want to put Sun in the position to have to deal with being friends with both of them if that were true, too, because she had already decided she was going to stay with Zuko no matter what she dreamt. ]

Well she hasn't complained about you on my end and she did promise to tell me whenever something was wrong, so I think you're probably reading her correctly.

[Maybe if Sun hadn’t come to consider Weiss a good friend, but even then it wouldn’t have been right to be upset at her about something she couldn’t control. Even if she had known about Neptune when she first arrived, there was no telling if he would have actually showed p here or not. So he wouldn’t have been upset about her moving on, as long as she didn’t like, do it instantly. Basically, he has your back and supports you, Weiss.

Sun wanted the best things for all of his friends. And when he gets the chance, he will try to get Neptune out on a date with someone. There were enough pretty girls in this place, plenty of fish in his the sea.]

That’s good to know. Both that I’m reading her right and that she has someone to confide in.

[whiteas]

[ Weiss nodded in agreement. Blake most certainly had someone to confide in. In fact- ]

If she ever doesn't, I'll corner her until she figures out she has to.

[As long as she isn't weird about cornering her on it.]

You can read her well enough to tell when something is up with her?

[whiteas]

[ Would Weiss ever be weird? A clue: yes. ]

Then I'll count on you for making her talk about things when she needs to. I'd do the same for you, but me and Zuko aren't like, best buds or anything.

I'm pretty sure Zuko tells me everything.. but thanks.

[ Weiss honestly thought Sun was a good friend despite her initial, uh... reservations. ]

But I'll definitely make sure that Blake doesn't close herself off too much until you figure out how to tell when something's off.
