[ Her last memory is of studying for her examination, and possibly falling asleep on her desk.

So her first thought is that this is most definitely a dream. But aren’t dreams of familiar places? She had never seen this place before…

The video feed is grainy at best, and showed a very bewildered, red face. ]

I’m really c-confused! I was studying, now I’m here… [ The recording steadied, and she looked even more frightened than at first. ] ...being randomly transported places doesn’t happen i-in the real world!

[ Well, she’s seen weirder things. Demonic things. But that’s besides the point.

She feels tears at the corners of her eyes and a headache beginning to form.

She takes a deep breath. ]

[Ace is standing on the street, holding the handle of a wagon he's procured from somewhere]

Yo.

So I did some checking and the Puppy Prison is just a name. It's not really that free a place but I think maybe dogs would feel better having a home of their own and friendly faces-- so if you know of any roaming free or were keeping some and didn't know what to do with them, let me know and I'll pick them up.

I'll take your dogs too if you want, Coby. You're a good guy for taking them in but I was just messing with your head and seeing if you would do it. You're not supposed to be that good of a Marine you know. It's gross. [said all with a flat inflection]

Otherwise contact me any time day or night.

[waves at the camera and cuts the feed]

[Ace can be found in every city, picking up dogs to put in his wagon or the dogs following at his heels. He doesn't seem in the best of moods but he's not apparently angry either so that's a good sign, isn't it?]

1st Song - Introduction [Video and Action]  

[Video]
*The video is taken by someone who knows what they are doing - at an angle that is actually rather flattering. There's enough so that her face is seen, her shoulders, and the start of her chest. Sonico is smiling, calmly, into the camera, no idea who she is talking to, or if there's anyone there at all. Still, she takes a small breath before starting to speak*

I seem to have fallen asleep and woken up...somewhere, and I don't have my bike with me. Could anyone kindly let me know where the nearest train station is? I'm worried that I'm late for work, and... I think I've missed all my lectures today. I - I hate to make such a nuisance of myself, but I have so many important things to do today, and I don't want to let anyone down!

*Sonico bows gratefully into the camera, then switches her new device off*

[Action - Genessia City]


*With no clue of where to go or what to do until someone hopefully gets in touch with her, Sonico takes to wandering the city. What she does know for a fact is that she is hungry, so seeking out someplace to eat is her first priority. The girl definitely doesn't seem in too much of a hurry, scuffing her boots along the ground as she walks, arms leisurely swinging as she sings to herself.

From time to time she'll pause at the window or some food store or other. In particular, she seems distracted by a pretty bakery selling macarons. Pressing herself up against the glass, Sonico stares in happy wonder at the various different coloured confections on display. Either Sonico will be staring wistfuly at food somewhere, or she'll be staring at her device, and the map she was given, trying to figure out her next steps, looking more than just a little lost*
