[Alley holds up her left forearm. Well... the flat metal bar that makes up her left forearm. It has two holes drilled through it, and that's it. No bells, no whistles. It's not even a crossbow like Sera suggested she get.]

I'm told I can get something better than this made around here. Something that can function more like the original. Maybe even something with weaponry. There's shops in Nova City, I hear, but I'd rather pay a 'real' person if given the option.

Also, it would have to still work on Thedas. That means I can't plug it into a socket somewhere like this phone... thing. We have lightning magic, and runes that can carry a charge -- but that's as close as it gets.

[The Inquisitor isn't particularly hopeful, but it's worth the attempt, at least.]

[Yukiko had set things up so they could leave whenever they wanted to and come in whenever they wanted it. After all it was all a thing to have fun and relax, maybe get to know one another. As for what sorts of things she had set up one will just have to find out.]

[ The first thing evident when the feed turns on appears to be nothing more than something red and gold being tossed up and down for a moment, followed by a hum and the camera is shifted upward to show the owner’s face. Karma’s wearing a lazy smile, holding up the necklace he’d arrived with. ]

Well. That was quite the little speech there. Bravo to the little lady for getting her message across loud and clear.

[ Spoken in his normal casual drawl, Karma twirled the necklace around one finger in an almost careless manner with his gaze fixed straight ahead. ]

I get that these things are supposed to be some kind of important deal, but I can’t say I understand why I’d need them to be seen as ‘real’. I’m right here, aren’t I? Either way, I guess I’m here to stay now by the sounds of it but I’m not really liking that idea so far.

[ His expression shifts just a touch, his smile edged to reflect his unhappiness as he ceased his toying of the necklace to clench it solely in one hand and exhaling a soft, almost irritated sigh. ]

Just know that I don’t intend to just sit by like some docile animal. That’s no fun at all so try to make things exciting here, won’t you?

[Waking up in a strange place, wasn't that odd for Allen thanks to his Master and randomly finding himself in dungeons chained up. However, finding himself in a completely different world with an explanation, money, and communication device was definitely different.

The last thing he remembered was escaping the Order with Tyki and an unconscious Road. So many things had led to that incident which he'd rather not dwell on. Instead he'd focus on figuring out exactly where he had ended up.

He stopped at the kiosk that held the hologram and listened to it's message. At least he knew the name of the place and where he should get started. Hopefully he could find someone with some answers.

He pulled out the communication device and switched it on before smiling a bit forcibly at the screen.]

Ah, heh hey...so I guess I'm new here. Anyone mind giving me a bit more information?

Video: [There is a lot of camera action going on, and an angry, dark-haired woman can be seen on the screen. At times the vision is unfocused, upside-down, blocked by her fingers, or even shook. Actually, it is shaken a lot.]

What in the hells is...ugh! [Violent shaking overtakes the feed.] Stupid...contraption!

[This sort of interaction continues on. Her fist hits the screen a couple of times, making it go black as the feed cuts off.

Action in Genessia: [Li-Ming is no stranger to foreign lands, but this...was definitely not Sanctuary. There's far more metal and movement than usual, and far more people dressed so...oddly. She stares around at people that pass her by, yet although she thinks them odd, she's the one with a wand in one hand and a magic source floating in the other. Unknowingly, Li-Ming walks into a street crowded with cars, with a few coming right towards her. Without hesitation, she casts a forceful wave of energy to knock back the traffic. Unharmed, she's created a circle around her while vehicles pile up around her. Noting that the mechanical monstrosities wouldn't attack further, she points a gloved finger to a random stranger.]

You, there! [Her wand hand sweeps over the piles of damaged cars.] Tell me about these creatures, and this... [She looks about the tall buildings with a skeptical eye.] town.
