[Given any choice at all, Soma would never go to Dracula for anything. There's always a price to pay with him, and it's always something you're going to regret later. Still... this is a problem he cannot solve on his own, and even if another way presents itself, Tepes is the most solid shot he has.]

[He doesn't use the network to contact Vlad. That would leave the chance of someone else finding out about their connection - and though he has told a couple of people, that's information he'd rather doesn't spread too far. No; he's entered the dread castle and ascended to the throne room - this time, oddly, the place seems to welcome him, with a straightforward path (even if it does happen to be infested with things that want him dead). Definitely not what he's used to.]

[Having come this far, though... he has no idea how to actually address the count. How odd is that? How do you actually talk to someone whose memories you have in your own head?]

[ Well one thing was for sure, she wasn't in Mistral anymore. In fact Winter wasn't sure if she was even on Remnant anymore. No, no that wasn't quite right. She was, in fact, sure that she wasn't on Remnant anymore. Washing up in a pod on a strange shore wasn't on Winter's schedule for that day. She had battles to win, people to protect, and a General to look after.

She took a deep breath to try to still her beating heart. She was a soldier. If she was caught panicking then that could be the end of her especially if she was somehow so far away from home in such a far off land. Winter pushed herself up and dusted herself off before collecting the items that she had awoken with. The necklace, the...electronic device, the pamphlet, and the key.

Winter was nothing if not rational. Given that pamphlets usually contained useful information she opened that first and read that over. So the items would be useful to her, then? She wasn't much for jewelry, though, she did place the necklace into her pocket for safe keeping along with the key. The 'smart phone' seemed to operate much like her scroll. At least that would be semi familiar to her in this strange world. Winter tucked it in to the pocket of her coat and situated the pamphlet under her arm.

It wouldn't do her any good to keep standing on the beach like that. If there were rooms that she could find then it would be much safer than standing out in the open. Making sure she had just about everything else with her, Winter started walking.]
