❄ Action One : OTA
[ Well one thing was for sure, she wasn't in Mistral anymore. In fact Winter wasn't sure if she was even on Remnant anymore. No, no that wasn't quite right. She was, in fact, sure that she wasn't on Remnant anymore. Washing up in a pod on a strange shore wasn't on Winter's schedule for that day. She had battles to win, people to protect, and a General to look after.
She took a deep breath to try to still her beating heart. She was a soldier. If she was caught panicking then that could be the end of her especially if she was somehow so far away from home in such a far off land. Winter pushed herself up and dusted herself off before collecting the items that she had awoken with. The necklace, the...electronic device, the pamphlet, and the key.
Winter was nothing if not rational. Given that pamphlets usually contained useful information she opened that first and read that over. So the items would be useful to her, then? She wasn't much for jewelry, though, she did place the necklace into her pocket for safe keeping along with the key. The 'smart phone' seemed to operate much like her scroll. At least that would be semi familiar to her in this strange world. Winter tucked it in to the pocket of her coat and situated the pamphlet under her arm.
It wouldn't do her any good to keep standing on the beach like that. If there were rooms that she could find then it would be much safer than standing out in the open. Making sure she had just about everything else with her, Winter started walking.]

Which put Weiss squarely around Genessia City headed toward the mall when she spotted Winter from down the street. If she ever had manners when it came to her sister, they were being presently firmly ignored as from at least a block away she raised her voice loudly enough to get the attention of essentially everyone at least two blocks away going both ways. ]
Winter!

Weiss?! Oh gods...
[Anything else she could have thought to say, which there would be quite a lot of as later as she got her head back on her shoulders, was lost as she couldn't help but wrap her arms around her sister and pull her in to a tight embrace. There were no Atlas soldiers or Branwens around to see, afterall, so she could be allowed such a tender moment after a very very long day.]
Weiss!

When she finally pulled back at looked up at Winter's face, it was the first time she just let that dreaded feeling of deja vu at greeting someone she cares about go. It was immediately apparent to her that this was a "new" Winter. But Winter is Winter, whether she remembers when she was here before or not- and honestly, it's probably better that she didn't because of what happened because of Weiss. If Winter didn't have to live with that, then Weiss was uncomfortably okay with it. ]
You're probably incredibly confused. Did you see the hologram? Have you stopped by the welcoming center yet?
[ Be proud of her, even if Whitley's name is on all of that now she built it and the boys just took credit for it as usual. ]

She went to get herself some iced coffee on a shop down the street, pretty quickly and just in time enough for her to exit the shop and see Winter again, glancing towards the soldier. Ayame once again opted to just give Winter some space, but a nagging thought in the back of her mind keeps urging her to actually talk to people. Waiting until Winter has passed her again, Ayame calls out to the newcomer: ]
Excuse me, miss.
[ Her tone was calm and polite, tugging on the pendant on her neck with her thumb to show she's just as foreign here as Winter is. ]
I'm guessing you're a new arrival. Do you need help with anything?
no subject
New arrival? So it was that obvious? That shouldn't have been as surprising to her as it was.]
Help-?
[Winter had never been one to ask for help, even when James had "stolen" her all those years ago, but perhaps she could make an exception given the circumstances.]
Yes, actually. I just arrived. I'm a little....lost as to what I should be doing right now. I was going to look for a place to stay but, heh, I got myself a little lost.

[ Ayame gently tilts her head, subtly observing Winter from head to toe. Ayame lowers her hands slightly in hopes of appearing less of a potential threat to the armed newcomer ]
First time hearing about a "new world", too? I've been here for a few months now, and I'll have to say that you're going to be here for a long time as well. For how long, none of us can tell, really. I can guide you to the Schnee Company Welcoming Center if that is the place you've been looking for. They help newcomers cope with the shock, and help them find housing and employment during their stay here.
