Happy New Year, everyone! Or, uh. In a few hours, it will be. I know it's a bit last minute, but I wanted to invite everyone to come welcome the new year at Genessia's shrine. I know that this whole situation is a hindrance to some, but I believe all of us have one or two things to be grateful for in Genessia. I thought we could write what we're grateful for on papers and hang them up for the spirits to see.

Oh um. And the shrine will be open early and late for the next week. Please drop by! Have a safe evening, everyone.

[Having already cleaned the shrine, Shi is able to spend most of the day setting up for visitors. His Ghost Pokemon are guarding a table with hot chocolates and tea, while Shi himself is greeting visitors with a pamphlet about the shrine.]

It seems that January 1st is the beginning of a new year here as it is back home. I was not able to wish anyone a merry solstice and happy Yule, but I would like to wish all of you a very happy new year. May good fortune and even greater health befall you and yours.

Also... [Aurora turned and gave a knowing, if somewhat disapproving look towards her parliament of owls that are smart enough to look bashful.] I must deeply apologize as I find myself in excess of cloaks and coats and scarves that are most certainly not mine and I believe were taken by my feathery friends.

If you are missing a coat, scarf, or cloak, please let me know and I will have one of my owls return it to you and you have my sincerest apologies for causing you any discomfort this winter.
