Genessia NPCs
27 January 2019 @ 06:15 am

[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

[And if you're one of the following people, and you happen to subscribe to the newspaper, the Paperboy may or may not have flung the newspaper through that person's window, at the person, and/or broke something in the area: Robin, Nanaki, Camilla, Daenerys Targaryen, Hana, Lan Fan, Ryoma.

The following people have their newspaper placed neatly on their doorsteps: Peter Graham, Cad Bane, Koishi Komeiji, Mayu Nozaki, Shota Aizawa, Android 17, Katsuki Bakugou, Gale Reinhardt, Myrrh, Mavis Vermillion, Bulla Brief, Ted, Leo, Neito Monoma, Bulla Brief, Azura.

Shi Yamato and Rin Thosaka get a paper thrown at them.]

This Week In The News )

[ OOC: Want to submit anything to the newspaper? Reply to the Submissions For The Next Paper thread and include any information you want to be sure is in next Sunday's newspaper! This includes news, gossip, singles ads, business advertisements, job listings, bounties, and anything else you want in the newspaper.

FOR BOUNTIES: Reply to the Bounties Claim Thread with a claim using the form. If you aren’t logging the Bounty, it must include a 1 Paragraph Summary of the details of the bounty. You’re allowed to claim a Bounty 6 times without having to include a log with it. If you’re including a Log, you can go ahead and claim a Bounty and provide a either after it is completed or while it is going on to show that it is being done/has been done. Please note that whoever goes after the bounty is in charge of writing the NPCs involved, but feel free to ask the mod for any tips if you like. First come first serve on claims unless you haven't turned in a log for every 6 bounties. Bounty Change Notice here.]

Uai
27 January 2019 @ 10:54 pm
[After putting it off forever, Uai finally went to the Dream Docks in order to tie up loose ends. At first, he was impressed and curious about the technology. But after the worst canon update he could have, he's just upset and having a meltdown.]

[Closed Prompt. A for Azura]
[When Uai exits the Dream Docks, he's dazed and confused. There's some mental whiplash as he tries to settle between the feelings he just inherited, and the person he left behind in Genessia. He doesn't immediately realize that his internal turmoil is physically apparent: His human form keeps "glitching," briefly flickering to his dragon form. He's such a mess that the electronics around him-- street lights, most notably-- are beginning to flicker as well. Just as his appearance is uncertain, Uai isn't sure what to feel.

It's almost on accident that he notices Azura is there. The sight of her helps him drag his recent Genessia memories out of the mess that is Uai. That's right. She said she would wait for him. So he wouldn't be lonely.]

... Ah. [That's what he's feeling. Lonely.]

[He shakes his head. Aware of incoming tears and his feelings, but trying to push it aside for a smile. A fake expression, but one he's mastered.] Azura! I'm back!

[Open Prompt. B for Bad Life Choices(Lakendell/Fayren Tea Shop)]
[A few days later, after a lot of misery, Uai is sulking around Lakendell. He's been quiet for the past few days: Not even teleporting or snarking, which he usually does more than he ought to. Instead, Uai serves tea at his job in silence. He comes home to Lakendell and keeps trying to bake. Before anything can finish baking, he purposefully sabotages himself so that he has to start from the beginning.

Like when he arrived, his human form occasionally flickers away and is replaced by a shadowy dragon skeleton. It doesn't affect his environment due to how quickly the flickers happen, but it's not hard to miss either.]
