Annie
[She's tried to stay away from farming, but a farmer can only mope for so long before the urge to farm becomes darn overpowering. Never mind that she grew up in a city and spent most of her life there, the call of the countryside is woven intricately into her soul.]

[So she reaches out at FREAKING SIX IN THE MORNING, looking fresh as a daisy as she greets the recording device with a sunny grin.]

Good morning! I heard you guys owned ranches, so...I was wondering if any of you were hiring helpers?

[She presses her palms together in front of her, smiling hopefully.]

Even if you're not, I'd love to take a look around and see what kind of ranch you've got. If you're up for a tour, maybe I could swing by for a visit! --My name is Annie, by the by. I'm a farmer back home, so I'd like to see how you do things over here.

Tamatoa
15 September 2019 @ 09:12 pm
[For a while, Tamatoa has been fairly content to make his home at the bottom of Fayren's biggest lake. There are fish to eat, and a few treasures to find scattered in the silt at the bottom. He even enjoyed fighting the lake monster that occasionally came out of its lair. (Which coincidentally made lake visitors happy to not be eaten by said lake monster, but Tamatoa knew nothing about the creature's dining habits -- only that once he managed to kill it for good, he could move into that comfy cave and thoroughly loot it.]

[But a lake wasn't made to house and feed someone of Tamatoa's size, and when all that's left to eat are the little fish that scarcely amount to a nibble, he has to heave himself up onto shore.]

[The frustrated pair of fishermen scream and scramble backwards at the sight of the monstrous crab and his hoarded treasure glittering brightly on his back.]

What are you screaming for? I'm not going to eat you.

[...He could, though. Easily. His flat look turns into a wicked smirk.]

But that would be more convenient than going alllllll the way to the fish market, wouldn't it?

[And he might, if they don't have anything useful to offer up in exchange for their pitiful lives. It's the least they can do for annoying him this early in the...late afternoon.]

Kimberly Hart

[Video - Last Week of August]

[Kimberly is sitting on her bed with her legs folded beneath her, and she sighs dramatically.]

I guess it doesn't matter which world you're in. Summer is always gone too fast, and school is right around the corner.

[She did have fun shopping for school supplies and fall clothes to wear, but the thought of going to class without any of her friends? That's the part that's hard to swallow. So she'd better start building up a support group, since she can't be the only one in this position.]

So! Who's going back? I thought it might be nice to figure out some stuff first, like trying to share classes, making some study groups, eating lunch together...you know, fun stuff! Maybe we can start up a few clubs too, depending on what they don't have around here. Like, we were totally into an environmental club, and gardening, gymnastics, and some of my friends taught martial arts after school.

[She shrugs and smiles, leaning over her legs.]

So what do you guys think? I mean, at least it's going to be interesting going to school with like, aliens and fairies and stuff. Can't say I've ever done that before.
