I've been hearing a lot about Halloween lately. From what I gather it's suppose to be a holiday that celebrates the dead, or more so is dedicated to honoring the lost souls.

So I'm wondering...where do demons fall under all of this? Or is it even a concern for them at all?

Demons are usually viewed as the tricksters of Halloween night. If something bad happens, they tend to say it's a demon's fault to it.

At least, reading what I have, that's what it seems to be.

So I'm assuming they're usually slayed afterwards?

I'm not sure about that. It's almost as if that's their one day they're allowed free reign.

But that in itself is rather dangerous from the sounds of it. I believe that's why 'treats' are given out as offerings to appease spirits, demons and other malevolent forces.

Folklore suggests that they're the ones out causing mischief. Usually it's the witches though, so frankly I have no opinion on the activities of demons in general--on Halloween or otherwise.

I haven't celebrated Halloween as a holiday since I was a kid. I'm usually working, so there's not much time for festivities.

I don't see the appeal, personally, but humans seem to like dressing up as them for the holiday. Or... Well, as anything else, really.
