Alright, who did it this time? [ He pauses, half expecting a response. But after a second, keeps going. ] I know usually it's Vlad who tries to make my life miserable, but I think even Vlad would remember to tie me up or something. So, what, did you blow out your budget on the smartphone and forgot to buy some rope or something?

[ He pauses a bit longer this time, his frustration slowly being replaced by actual uncertainty. This is usually the part where the ghost announces their presence. ]

... Uh... hello?

[ Still nothing. ]

... Okay, it's kind of hard to exchange witty banter if the bad guy's not here.

[ The tail would probably freak him out more if he wasn't so used to ghosts. As it was, Danny was pretty well convinced that he was just dumped in the Ghost Zone somewhere, and the bad guy was doing a bad job of following up on that. ]

There hasn't been much danger besides from a few bad seeds thus far, but it's still better to stay on your guard.

[She would never allow something like this to happen to those she took if she were in their shoes. She's still figuring this place out.]

If you let your pets do as they wish despite being "victims".... that will only bring disorderly conduct and give them too much time to themselves. Eventually they'll find a way out.

Which I guess is a good thing for us then.

[ ... Admittedly, Danny didn't know how the Ghost Zone operated on a daily basis. For all he knew, the hectic stuff he saw in his travels in the Ghost Zone was commonplace or something. ]

That's uncertain as of right now. I've been here for a few months and I'm still not totally certain as to what reason we're here for. I don't believe it's by chance though if there are so many people here as it us.

As far as I've gathered, there are a few cities here. That seems to be the gist of it. I arrived here a day ago myself.

I'm uncertain as far as a definite number, but let's just say there are many others like us that have been brought here. Some have been here for a few years. Needless to say, you're not alone and we'll do the best we can to help out.

One thing you should know is that time works differently here and people come from many different worlds.

As far as I know, this is considered a completely different world than what each of us is used to. As far as what it consists of, it's hard to say with how long I've been here. I wouldn't put it past the fact that there might be other races here.

So, we're stuck in some random city. This wasn't the work of some kidnapper. And we literally get a pamphlet that not only explains this place, but comes with monopoly money.
