 [If you happen to be somewhere in Genessia City near The Bay, you may or may not be around the Cat's Eye Cafe. If you are, you might noticed that blonde fallen angel zipping around as she helps out the customers. She's been putting in a lot of time there as of lately to avoid going home for a while. She's been giving the excuse that she just wants to help out more and make more money in the process, but truth be told, she wasn't exactly comfortable at home lately. It was just easier to keep her mind off of things while she was working.

So in the spirit of the cafe, she's decided to wear some fake cat ears and a cute uniform to boot. The uniform wasn't required, but she's getting in the spirit. On her top, there is a name badge with "Hero of Love; Flonne". It seems that she's taken to the zany nicknames given to them. She's even taken the initiative to somehow wrap her tail around her waist underneath the dress to somehow connect a fake cat tail.

Maybe she took it a little literal, but she seemed to really like her outfit either way.]

[Pidonus... May or may not have been a little distracted by Flonne's uniform and cat ears. Cat ears are adorable, okay? After a quick second, she blinks hard and gets her focus back on the situation.]

Oh. Erm. Yeah. Just the bagel and lox. Lightly toasted. That sounds good, yeah.

[Fai had gone about staying in the kitchen and making sure there were fresh scones among other treats as he worked. After all he was the only baker in the cafe and he hadn't hired anyone else. Maybe he should have thought about that before opening it. He was some lazy time but now it wasn't that easy as he had to work most of the day.

Going to poke his out out he looked over to Flonne.]

Do you have an order you need me to get working on?

[Minako looked up from her laptop with a smile. She was somewhat glad she new how to work this thing.]

Thanks and I think I am, but I want to know what you think is the best?

[ Something that was called "Cat" in any way was, naturally, The place to check out when you happen to be a (one-armed) cat. And he is amused by this "cat fetish" ha has noticed some people have. After all, he had seduced many a woman in Wonderland just by having ears himself. ]

If you would, what tea do you have that you would recommend?

[As she's talking, she takes no notice to her being distracted. She thought she was just trying to decide. She wrote down her order and give her a friendly smile.]

Okay! Coming right up!

Ah! Yes! Here you go!

[Walking over, she handed him the order that she'd just received.]

[She took a moment to try to figure out what to suggest.]

I don't know. I like most of the stuff here.

[Pidonus examined Flonne as she moved to place the order - and beyond. Something about her emotions was definitely... Hrm. Pidonus sensed a possible opportunity. Or perhaps not. Still, getting to know more of the 'real' people was worthwhile.]

[The order was simple enough, so it didn't take much time. Coming out with what she ordered, she still gave her a smile as she set it out in front of her.]

[He looked at the piece of paper for a moment.Okay that seemed easy enough.]

Okay, I'll get on that. But Flonne. I've noticed your working a lot lately, is there a reason for this?

Hrm. Are you well? You seem worried about something.

[Pidonus wasn't actually sure at all of anything - she was mostly simply trying to convince Flonne to slow down for a second, in hopes she could figure the girl out a little.]

Really? Usually people have at least one or two favourites or something?

[She stops what work she was doing before glancing over at the menu again. She had her drink so thankfully she didn't need to order that again, so maybe...]

I think I might go for a slice of strawberry cheesecake and a slice of chocolate cake too.

Hm~ I feel like I might be obliged to say "Earl Grey" or something else that's very British. But house cats can't be too picky.

They're all so good. It's hard to have a favorite.

Thank you. [With that she puts the menus down and once more glances at her laptop. She was trying to set up a couple of people who had applied but she couldn't for the life of her right now find the perfect match. Now all she had to do was wait for her cake.]

Are you sure you don't want to take a break and talk about it?

[OOC: Pidonus is considering trying her charm powers on Flonne. If you don't want this to occur, she'll simply decide not to for some reason or other.]

Uhm.. I just... thought more money would be useful and you'd get more help too.

[Coming back to deliver her order, she set them down in front of her.]

Just work related business and I've found that some people are much harder to match up than others.

Ohhhh really? I thought there might have been another reason you might be avoiding home.

[Pidonus calmly tries a bit of her magic. Nice part of spell-like abilities: There's no obvious cue she's using them if she doesn't want there to be. Just a sudden sense of kinship and friendship trying to come over Flonne relative to Pidonus. Not enough to control her, but enough that she might take the woman's words with a fair bit more weight than she'd otherwise give.]

You're hesitating. Sounds like something's definitely going down, then. May as well talk about it a bit, right?

[No guarantees it'd work, but at this point, it was worth a try. Could be an opportunity... Or could just be some fun. Hard to say which, yet.]
