[Levi had been in this place for an hour or two, reading the pamphlet he was given at the very beginning and testing the strange device he had been given. He's not panicking. It's not like he was kidnapped or eaten by titans. He was simply returning back inside the walls when he woke up here.

However, he is rather annoyed. He didn't have time to be here. There were things he needed to do back at home. After that battle they needed to regroup and be prepared to what's to come. So why was here? It really pissed him off not to be able to do anything about it.

He had to keep going for the sake of those who had fallen. There was no time to find yourself in a place like this.

Levi finally decided to take contact with the device given to him. There wasn't much emotion on his face, even if his eyes told another story. He was wearing his usual survey corps clothes, but he didn't have his 3D gear with him. On top of that, he was injured, but that didn't show on the outside.]

This situation is fucking idiotic. I don't care a shit about where we are or what we need to do here. Frankly, I don't even care why the fuck we're here.

[Well, good day to you too, sir.]

Once someone figures our a way to get the fuck out of here, I would like to know. My name is Levi.

[He's decided that the world must have a sick sense of humor. Why else, out of everyone out there, would this happen to him? Had the whole ocean fiasco not been enough? Disgruntled and wary of the information he's been given, he keeps the venom in his voice at a minimum, opting for a more aloof reaction. He holds the camera in such a way that suggests he's accustomed to being in front of the camera.]

This is too much to be considered a mere hindrance, but I suppose I'll have to accept it for now.

[Accept it, observe and re-adapt. The only comfort he takes is in the (hopeful) fact that it's temporary.]

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Kurama, from the world known as Earth. The odds of any of you realizing what that means are lower than I'd prefer, but I can work my way up once again. You still have idols, don't you? But since we're on the subject, for anyone willing to volunteer the information, what world are you from? Have any of you heard of Tokyo, Japan?

[  The video starts with a young woman's face close to the camera, moving backwards and adjusting the position of the recording angle slightly in the manner typical to someone unused to such a form of communication. Augusta knows telephones and she knows movie recordings, but she doesn't know mobile telephones, let alone video phones. The instructions are enough to piece together what this is and how it works, but it's still pretty novel to her. She clears her throat. Is she supposed to start this like a professional radio broadcast? ]

Good evening.

[ She smiles, masking her uncertainty. ]

My name is Augusta and I'm the daughter of Markgraf Wolfenbüttel... [ wait, people here won't necessarily know who that is, right? ] ...in the kingdom of Kuchen.

I think I understand the gist of my situation thanks to this pamphlet, but a theoretical understanding doesn't equal full orientation in an unfamiliar place. This isn't Kuchen and this isn't Europe either, is it? The standard of technology doesn't seem to match up with what I'm used to...

[ She trails off, realizing that rambling on and on in what appears to be a broadcast would be impolite. ]

I apologize for having to ask like this, but if someone could point me towards an old-fashioned and rural living area, I would appreciate it. I am still rather lacking overview.

Further, it seems employment is expected here. If anybody knows of a place that needs an able secretary or someone who can work with horses, I'd appreciate getting into contact.

[ She's never had to earn her own money before... ]

Thank you for your time.

I've realized that while I have been trained to handle certain types of situations, doesn't mean I can handle other types that one might not consider. Such as being here.

So... I guess I was wondering if anyone would be willing to teach me a thing or two. Maybe with a new weapon or help me figure out more uses for a weapon I have that doesn't involve throwing people at other people with it.

I will appreciate any and all help.

Return me to my friends. [Erza stands in the middle of the room, body still beaten and bruised from the battle she was just in. Bandages covered her chest; black pants flared out at her ankles, with red flames dripping down the cuffs. She's been beaten severely, black and purple bruises covering her form where the clothes failed to.]

At once. [That's all she has to say on the matter.]

While I have gotten some more information than I originally had regarding the Faunus and their situation in their world, I now have some more... pointed questions. Primarily about the organization called the White Fang.

[This time around, Mewtwo's not hiding his face. If anything, he's hoping his inhuman appearance will earn some trust points out of any White Fang people present.]

A public comm went out, highlighted by the blonde, idiot face most were fortunate enough not to know. Until now.

"Hello, everyone. For some time, my soul has been in trouble. Upon first coming here, it was difficult to feel much else for Genessia besides contempt. Even a very polite kidnapper is still a villain. Still, Thanksgiving, that most holy of holidays, would've occurred in my world today. As the sages say, "Gratitude ought to be the permanent pulsation of the soul", and that divine command makes itself known on Thanksgiving. Thus, I invite you all to join me in that most solemn ritual of naming what you're thankful for. I'll start.

I am thankful for...
The chance to dance, both formally in ballet, and more formally yet with a princess
Halloween festivities, and those who make them festive
The chance to serve a community, and the relief of having that chance defeated
Demons, especially the ones kind enough to get battered
The opportunity to enact justice, and to meet Justice himself
And finally, the temporary relief from the troubles of home. (At least, he hoped it was temporary)

[Hikari didn't expect to wind up here of all places. She had been expecting to go to the digital world for the first time and help the others deal with a situation where the world could be seen in the sky. It had been strange to say the least and she knew what she had to do as one of the Chosen Children. However when she found herself waking up in a pod surrounded by water and no sight of the others, she was more than a little concerned.

where was her brother? Where were the others? Did you wake up like she did? She didn't know nor could she tell as she soon found the basic's that everyone gets at Genessia. Okay, so that could be considered a little odd as well why would she need these after all.

It had taken her a while before she finally left the Bay, device in hand and looking around nervously. Her partner and friend wasn't here either so she knew that was troubling. Where was Tailmon? She had to be here somewhere, right? What seemed important now was finding her partner and the others, but she didn't know how to go about it. After all she didn't have a clue where to start and maybe just walking and seeing if anyone had seen them might help. After all she figured in this world she would stand out much like the others.

So taking those first few steps, she started to walk and look around the city. It didn't take her long to look positively puzzled. There were normal looking people wondering around, not creatures like she expected. So she started to wonder if perhaps she was just sent to another part of the world somehow and that if she looked up she might still see the world above her, but when she placed her hand on top of her head and looked up all she could see is sky. That... was pretty normal. She was sure you could see it. Then what was going on.

The more she didn't understand the more she worried. She had no idea where she was or even how she was going to get back to the others. She was lost, confused and didn't have a clue what to do next. All that she could do now was try her best and see if there really was a way.

So with that in mind she walked on over.]

Excuse me? May I ask about where we are?

[That seemed like a good first step at least.]

[Roman has never been kidnapped, but he's pretty sure this isn't how it's supposed to work. He imagined something more like throwing a bag over the victim's head and keeping them in a basement room, maybe sending a finger or an earlobe with a list of demands. Not putting them in a comfortable hammock and sending them off into town with a reassuring note and a stack of money. Not that he's complaining, mind you. Well-- he is complaining, because a pleasant kidnapping is still a kidnapping and that is not the sort of thing that he tolerates, but at least he still has all his fingers. He can appreciate that.

He spends most of the day exploring the cities and trying to avoid attention. He chafes at every missed opportunity for argument and it's a conscious effort to stroll instead of swagger, but he shouldn't make a scene until he has a better grasp on his situation. It's a good call; judging by the sub-archway to Vale, he's got company here.

Eventually he backtracks to the bay to make a video post. Normally he'd make a strong impression, but until he knows who else from Remnant is here, he should resist that urge. If it's one of the policemen or the Beacon brats, they might try to take him in. He doesn't have backup here. He could probably escape, but he hasn't risen to the top of Vale's underworld by relying on 'probably.' His best chance is to play the hapless newcomer so he can make them out to be the villains if they try anything.]

Hello, Genessia! Roman Torchwick here.

[He gives a little wave.]

I'm kind of getting the 'what' here, as far as the kidnapping and the city structure and all, but what I'm really curious about is why. Someone must have spent a loooot of time and money to break the laws of nature and bring us here. You'd think they'd want some kind of return on that investment, but... [He looks out toward the city, then turns back to the camera and shrugs.] ...not really seeing it, you know?

So! Think they're keeping us out of the picture so they can conquer our home worlds? Maybe they're fattening us up to eat? Throw me your wildest, weirdest theories, people.

[He clicks off the feed. He doubts anyone has a good answer, but it'll be entertaining and it should let him know who he's dealing with.]

[Minako had finally finished setting up something she always wanted around here and finally it was ready to go. The office for the other business was nicely situated upstairs so people could come through and head to them should they need love advice or simply be set up with their possible love match, or if they wanted they could chill in the main floor where a bunch of various different types of arcade games were.

Once she had finished putting the ribbon up in front of it ready for it's Grand Opening, she headed out to Nova City and the others to spread the word.]

Hey, did you know there will be a wonder place full of wonders opening on the 15th of this month? [Well... it was a start at least.]

[Text]

Hey everyone, Minako Aino, the love doctor dropping by to say that there will be a Grand Opening of a gaming arcade on the 15th of this month. So come one come and enjoy yourself to your hearts content. If you are wondering what kind of games we might have, please ask and I'll be happy to let you know.

[If you happen to be somewhere in Genessia City near The Bay, you may or may not be around the Cat's Eye Cafe. If you are, you might noticed that blonde fallen angel zipping around as she helps out the customers. She's been putting in a lot of time there as of lately to avoid going home for a while. She's been giving the excuse that she just wants to help out more and make more money in the process, but truth be told, she wasn't exactly comfortable at home lately. It was just easier to keep her mind off of things while she was working.

So in the spirit of the cafe, she's decided to wear some fake cat ears and
a cute uniform to boot. The uniform wasn't required, but she's getting in the spirit. On her top, there is a name badge with "Hero of Love; Flonne". It seems that she's taken to the zany nicknames given to them. She's even taken the initiative to somehow wrap her tail around her waist underneath the dress to somehow connect a fake cat tail.

Maybe she took it a little literal, but she seemed to really like her outfit either way.]

There's your drink, were you ready to order?

I hope everyone had fun with my little presents last month. It took me a lot of time to send out the perfect gifts. Not that I really care about the elections or the candidates well-being.

[The feed opens with a sickeningly familiar face. It was he, who was once the Morningstar. He was once the angel who inspired goodness and peace in everyone's heart, only to be corrupted by his deigned purpose. If his job was to corrupt humanity, then he shall do it gladly and without question. He shall prove why humanity shouldn't be admired.

Lucifer was walking around the streets of Genessia. It was a good thing the weather was cool enough, but still, the streets reeked of cheese. It was disgusting - it was perfect. So he took a chunk of a building's pillar, and started melting it on his palm. Then a gruesome smile emerged from the four-winged angel.]

I hear, humans loved cheese.

I know, Charlotte tells me she loved the stinky morsels so very much.

[Then, he shook his head.] I don't understand why you filthy things love eating so much. [For a moment, he looked appalled.] You're disgusting. Always wanting. Always devouring. Aren't you sick of it?

But some of you try your best to deny your most basic instincts, only to fail.

Maybe darling little Charlotte can help me understand. After all, I'm sure she enjoys how the cities tastes right now.

[After a few moments of silence, another smile crept on the immortal's face.] Or perhaps, everyone can show me what true hunger can do to a human, or an entire society.

Show me your hunger.

[Then, the feed darkens. And for a moment, one city after another, darkens as well. A momentary illusion, before the feed ends.]

((ooc: Hunger event, network post. A log shall follow shortly. This is for Lucifer to just, well, gloat? And also state that he's working with Charlotte. For OOC Post reference. I'm sorry this was late.))

WHO: Cheshire Cat and OPEN
WHAT: Arriving and figuring things out
WHEN: November 7th
WHERE: Outside the Bay and wandering
WARNINGS: 4th walling, most likely touching

READ ME it said. Cheshire chuckled when he read the screaming letters, and considered not reading whatever it was that wanted to be read. But he's in a new story now, isn't he? He should at least get familiar with the setting.

He had expected to wander back into Wonderland after saying his farewells to Shii-chan, Fiery-chan and San-chan but it seemed the Dream Gate had other plans.

He fingered the little bottle hanging in a thin chain around his neck, ascertaining that it really had happened. Or maybe he was still dreaming. But the bottled miracle he received from the female god was still where he remembered and the leather of his collar was familiarly pressing against his neck. He removed it, but it turned out that it had lost the ability to turn into a communication device. Well, that was alright. He doubted he could contact anyone he met in Somarium any more. It felt a little sad.

But dwelling was no good! You might get devoured if you did and Cheshire couldn't afford to disappear just yet, because he still had a role to play in the game.

He put the collar back on with some trouble (only having one hand could be so troublesome) but then he finally managed.  It was worse with this new necklace, though. He frowned lightly at the golden thing with blue tinted details.

"Now how do I put you on, I wonder."

Seems he's got a problem.
