Boys, Fish, and, Cats; Oh my!
Who: Weiss Schnee
whiteas / Blake Belladonna
deadly_belladonna / Open if you wanna spot them or meet them!
What: Fish Shopping, Talking about their boyfriends, finding out cats seem to like Blake and the fish they have.
When: November 29th - Morning to Late Afternoon.
Where: Fish Market and walking to their apartment.
Warnings: Possible NSFW conversations about their cuties.
The past couple of days Blake had treated herself t some of the canned Tuna that she was able to get from the store. While it smelled good, it hardly compared to the Sushi Sun took her to get for their date. But, eating on a budget was more than alright for now.
At least it was for her...
Weiss seemed to protest the idea of less than savory Tuna and insisted they go to one of the fish markets she knew about. Blake was hardly able to decline such a offer and to go where lots of fish was? Her cat side practically purred at the idea.
They went and poor Weiss had a hard time keeping Blake in one place; she would smell something so delicious and run off to breathe it in but that was also a blessing since she knew, with just a smell, which fish was the best quality.
Satisfied with their bounty, they were returning back towards their apartment. "So how have things gone with you and Zuko as of late? He has seemed rather stressed out when I last spoke to him."
What the two girls didn't realize, was there was a slow collection of cats following behind them

Weiss turned around as she was talking when Blake tried to get her attention, trailing off as she saw the cats too. That.. was a lot of cats. What on earth? The reasonable thing to do would have been to assume it was the fish, but Weiss wasn't always the most reasonable person. Which meant she was looking at Blake.
"Does this happen to you a lot? I've bought fish before and this never happens."

But, she also saw nothing wrong with cats following her. They had begun to randomly show up at their apartment door but that she chalked up to possibly having the trash removed with 20 cans of tuna.
She was trying very very hard not to show how cute the found them. Much more than dogs, of course, but the little mews of tiny kittens was practically a weakness.
Kneeling down, she held out her hand carefully for them only to hear a chorus of purrs rumble out from each cat. "Look, they're friendly."

Weiss was going to take Blake's bag of the fish now though. She's not getting any of these cats anywhere near it. There's nothing wrong with cats, but they definitely are going to go after their fishy haul the second they get the chance.
Weiss probably would be more keen to pet the cats herself if there wasn't a hoard of them acting like Blake's kitty cult.

"I'll hold it in." She said with the kittens starting to crawl along her legs and up to her shoulders. The older cats would rub against her hand and lay down, sprawled out for tummy rubs or chin scratches.
"They probably just smelled the food we had and are trying to suck up to get some." Glancing up, she hardly realized her own bow was twitching from her ears hidden inside.
"Least they're friendly and not hissing."

Weiss can definitely see the bow twitching. She briefly wonders if Blake has been accepted into some kind of cat cult and they're never going to make it home now because Blake looks more excited around the cats than anything she's ever seen. Weiss also wants to pet her ears, mostly because of the twitching and it intrigues her (as does the previously discussed idea of purring), but she knows Blake would probably kill her for it.
With her hands full of bags of fresh fish, Weiss can't really partake in petting the cats (not that she would-- they're probably from the street, and probably dirty and possibly diseased). At least she does manage to balance on one foot and lightly nudge one that's decided it liked her even though most of them are focusing on Blake. It's the best she can do with her hands full.

Giving them a small rub under the chin, one for each, she sets the kitten down from her shoulder to the ground with it's siblings. "Sorry guys, we need to get back to our place." And almost a chorus of mews ring out after which, probably isn't earning any points with looking like some cat-deity.
"I'll come back later. Don't go getting in trouble now." She said before standing back up but almost heart broken at the little mews of attention being echoed behind her. They'll need to leave quick before Blake cries and takes them all home.
"Don't..uh- don't mention that to anyone."
no subject
"What, that you're some kind of cat-goddess? I think I can keep that one under wraps. Ruby would probably want to actually see it anyway, which in turn would end with Frost getting overly excited and you hiding in a corner with 50 tiny mewling cats. I can't see telling anyone except Zuko ending well, except then I'd probably have to explain that you're a Faunus to him, which I am fairly certain I managed to keep quiet about."
Either way, Weiss is starting to walk again, stepping over the lone cat who seemed more interested in the girl with the fish than the girl with the cat ears.

Ironically, it's a rather dark fluffy kitten with a patch or orange fluff over it's eye much like Zuko's.
Even as they walk, the cats seem to still follow behind them if only to probably find out where they live.
"It's weird to think of but I'm more so okay with being known as a Faunus here than back at home. So far no one's seem prejudice against it and more so intrigued. Especially that other cat-eared person I met that I told you about. If only he weren't so..handsy." She shrugged. "But it sounded like he knew rabbits so- I guess Velvet would like to know that if we ever see her again."
no subject
It wasn't as though there weren't stranger things than a cat goddess here. Not that they should be plotting Blake's rise as a feline deity. It would probably be easier to afford a house if people started leaving offerings but..
Weiss nodded in agreement, then realized something about what Blake had said.
"What do you mean 'handsy'? He wasn't touching you, was he?"
no subject
That is true; think of the offerings and the place they could buy with that. And as they both learned, they indeed needed money for sound proofing their walls and somehow fire-proofing Weiss' everything.
"Mm?" She waved a hand dismissively. "He just held my hand, that's all. I'm guessing it was just a innocent gesture from one cat to another." Not that she had really...known what an exchange like that was suppose to go.
no subject
"You'd either have to stick with it forever or we'd probably deserve to be arrested for extortion."
On the other hand, they'd be able to afford a nice house. A nice, soundproof, waterpoof, newspaperproof, fireproof house. Weiss really needed to find a way to get them a fair amount of money.
"I've never seen two cats hold paws, and if he starts licking you or giving you a massage, I'm telling Sun."
no subject
"Eh, they can't prove it really." She mused with a shrug. But, she certainly was trying to find out ways of getting money for the sake of their new home and all the amenities that were needed.
"I--'m pretty sure we'd never get that far or even consider doing that. And Sun-- who knows. He doesn't seem to be the kind to get jealous about anything. Both good and bad." Remembering back to their conversation in the washing machine room, she knew that Zuko seemed to get jealous and idly wondered what that felt like. A horrible thought but just feeling wanted was always something Blake wondered about.
"I don't think there were any bulls in his world, either. So if he met Sun and Adam, it certainly would be new for him."
no subject
"Maybe you should try to make him jealous with someone you know isn't actually interested, so you're not leading anyone on."
That would take care of all the problems, right? Sun would get jealous, Blake would get to feel special, and no one's feelings would get hurt. It's clearly not a terrible idea.
no subject
"I guess if I want something like that it's better for it to be natural. Right?" She was still new to this whole affections actually being returned and having someone care for her on an intimate level type of thing.
SOBS I accidentally archived the notif for this while I was playing on my phone..
She was right about Neptune though. Not only did Neptune probably not need to go through anything else from Team RWBY regarding girl problems, but putting a divide between Neptune and Sun would just be wrong.
"Well you're probably on the way with that other cat fellow if you keep going around holding hands with him."
