[ unbelievable. of course weiss would sign him up for this, and of course he'd get stuck having to get a gift for his girlfriend's could've been love interest of all people. zuko very much didn't want to do this, but he promised weiss he would play along and at least try to be festive. the latter likely wasn't happening, but he could at the very least (begrudgingly) participate in the secret santa she went out of her way to organize, even if that meant getting a gift for neptune vasilias.

Zuko wasn't going to have much of a direct hand in selecting Neptune's gift, but he was in the selection of others. Which was why he could be found window shipping with Weiss's Charizard in tow, walking through the Genessian mall as if doing so with a dragon-like Pokémon at your side was the norm. And when he paused to look at something in a window display, Char would peer over Zuko's head to see what he was looking at, huffing out a puff of hot air through his nose and fogging up the glass.

"Too close, back up," he told him, elbowing the beast until he stepped back with an unhappy rumble. "You're going to leave nose prints on the glass."

Heh. Zuko looked mildly embarrassed in regards to that for a second, glancing down at his boots. He would use the door more often were he not already accustomed to using the window. Anyone could be at the door, but Weiss knew -- he hoped she knew -- that it was only him who would be at her window.

"Is Char, Weiss's Charizard," he said, gesturing to the dragon at his side. "He spends most of his time with me these days."

That mild embarrassment certainly doesn't escape her and she can't help but give a small smirk at it. Tipping her head, she tried to steal a glance back at his eyes which, ironically, were very close in color as her own. "Don't worry about it though. Weiss likes it and we're kind of used to Sun doing it from back at Beacon."

Turning her attention back towards Charizard, she gave a small nod. Something that size looked like it could crush Frost. "Goodness. If he lived with us I imagine Weiss would be-- rather stressed with the size of him.

But, it's nice that he seems to like you, hm?"

Zuko thought she found his constant appearances at her window (sometimes having already let himself into her bedroom before she could let him in herself) annoying.

He dug around in his pocket for the pokéball he kept on him whenever he had Charizard out, just in case he had to put him back. Pressing the button, he made it bigger and held it out for Blake to see.

"Weiss kept him in this while she had him. It's sort of a home for Pokémon, from what I understand. Dragons are highly respected where I'm from. They're the ultimate firebenders, the original masters. I try not to keep him in there for too long."
