WHO: M. Bison, Yang Xiao Long
WHAT: Bison finally gets what he's always wanted for Christmas: a new doll! --Wait what?
WHEN: January 1, 2014 - Shortly after midnight
WHERE: Genessia City Streets
Yang's high-heeled sandals clicked as she walked, echoing in the snowy streets. All around her, she could see the snow starting to melt, Christmas decorations fading as the new year took on a fresh mantle. Apparently the city had decided it no longer needed to skew the weather to its will. A puddle scattered as she strode right through it, not caring if the hem of her dress's train got spattered with dirty water. Fireworks lit up the sky, casting shadows of pink, blue, and green over her determined face.
The radio was still clasped tightly in her hand, bearing the message that had pulled her away from the night's festivities:
Got info on M. Meet on Thistle and 13th. Let's make a deal.
Was it a trap? Most likely. It didn't matter to Yang; she'd get the information she wanted, either sweetly surrendered with honeyed words, or coughed up with a vinegar smackdown. At her sides, her fists tightened, but she didn't power up her Ember Celica gauntlets just yet.
Gold curls swung at her waist as she turned the street corner and peeked down the alley as she moved past. Nothing there... But up ahead, at the designated meeting place, someone was definitely waiting for her in the onset of evening fog and purple firework smoke.
"Got something for me?" she smiled, cocking her head as she stopped a few feet away from the shadowy figure.

"Indeed I do. I've seen the short work you've made out of Balrog." From his cloak, he extended an open, pulsating palm.
"In fact, I have a position for you. Join Shadaloo, and help me rule this world."

...Was he serious?
She shifted her weight with a little smile, brushing back some of her gold curls over her shoulder. "That's a pretty tempting offer. Who doesn't want to rule the world?" Well. Yang had no interest in that sort of thing, but she was curious as to why he was here of all places, asking her of all people.
Besides the fact that she kicked his minion's ass all over the place, of course.
"But I think you mentioned something about M too, didn't you?" First things first.

Things never went quite as easy as all that, did they? People always treated Shadaloo like joining was some loathsome burden, rather than the glorious chance to be in Bison's presence that it is. Bison responded to Yang's initial query.
"The weak and the damned. But they will be conquered. Yes, I do have information about M. At a price. That price is your servitude. Will you give it, or will I have to make you pay?"

Yang doubted she would wind up joining forces with this guy. The word 'conquered' indicated he proooobably wasn't the most benevolent boss in the world, let alone fit to reign over an entire world. But she'd play along for as long as it took, if it meant she'd have a shot at finding M.
