[After waking up with no idea where she was on a mysterious boat, and moving up from said boat to discover a city she did not recognize in the least, Yang had just plopped herself down on a nearby bench. When it came to weirdness and oddity, the teen generally needed a few minutes to really process through all of it, so that's what she was doing. It wasn't helping very much, but at least the urge to scream was starting to fade?]

[Instead she turned on the walkie-talkie thing, flipping slowly through the options until she found what she hoped was some sort of video feature. On a social network? Something like that. It would have to do for now, anyway.]

Uh. Hey. I'm Yang. [She gives the screen a little wave.] Not really sure what's going on? I found these pamphlet things but, didn't really read 'em yet.

[She pauses, and her expression turns a bit frustrated as she points over her shoulder, back towards where she had emerged after waking up.]

Look, anybody else just wake up a boat? 'cause that's a thing that happened, and it's still freaking me out a little bit.

[She sucks in a breath and then runs her hand through her hair, tugging on it in frustration.] Right, anyway. I guess I'll just...read these? 'cause that'll help... Thanks.

[She waves again and then clicks the screen off.]

[ Oh boy, that's.. a tough question for Weiss. ]

I.. like it well enough. Most of the problems that exist back home don't exist here. There's no discrimination against the Faunus so Blake and Sun don't have to face that, and this is the only way I can be with Zuko. The White Fang isn't here. Honestly, part of me doesn't want to go home, even if I know that there are things I miss back there.

[Yang has no idea what to say to that. It sounds so...strange, impossible really.] I'll have to take your word for it.

[It did make sense, in a way, but for Weiss. With a boyfriend, with a home, being here for years...]

I can't say I feel the same way yet, though. I doubt I ever will.

I didn't for a long time, and I definitely didn't think I was going to end up falling in love with anyone.

[ She shrugs. ] I'm not saying that you have to or that you ever will, but if we had to get kidnapped, I'm glad it was this place and not some weird hell world.

Weird hell world. Well, can't argue with that, huh? [Yang grins, then claps her hands together. Enough avoiding it.]

So, is there anything else I need to...do?

Besides getting a job and doing your share of the cleaning, it's mostly up to you. I mean, as long as you remember to put the dog gate up if you're playing with Frost and Blake wants to be left alone.

Hey, I can clean. You don't have a sister like Ruby without learning to clean. Blake is still weird about dogs, huh?

[Yes Yang will be teasing her about that.]

But I meant like...right now. I mean, do they just let new people show up and wander around?

[ She shakes her head. ]

No one really knows why we're here, Yang. You can go basically anywhere and do wherever you want as long as one of the other kidnapped people don't get in your way.

Really. [Huh.] So there isn't a government or anything?

Well each city sort of does? And there are the City Guardians, like I mentioned earlier. So there are still laws, I just meant if you want to go live in an underground cave in Everglade, party in Nova City, or fight mountain trolls in Fayren, no one's going to stop you.

Alright.

So are there natives? [Yang plops down on the couch.] I mean, people actually from here.

There are... They can't pass the archways unescorted though, and some people say they're not actually real people, but I don't know that I believe that.

...Not really people? What would that even mean?

As if I know. It's what some people said, but I don't buy it. They seem real enough to me.

Right...I can just worry about that tomorrow. [Yang grins.]

Let me know when you're hungry, by the way. I'll have someone bring some pizza over from Geraldi's.

[ Might as well take advantage for the last few days she works there. ]

I think I'm still a little too worked up to eat. [Yang grins, then shrugs.] Okay. I'm gonna...have a look around.

Do you want me to give you a tour or do you mean on your own?

Nah. I'll just take a walk around the neighborhood. You can give me the tour later, alright?

I will. Believe me, you won't want to miss it.
